Waverly Place Beach House was the perfect location for my group of friends to celebrate 30 years of an annual fall trip-often on one of the Great Lakes. We fully enjoyed walking the beach, gazing at the stars, gathering in the screen porch around the fire and for meals. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well appointed, house was clean and host responsive. Would certainly recommend this stay!

This was our second time staying at this house. We loved the house and beach last year; updates were made to the house that made our stay this year was even more enjoyable. The addition of an outside shower made cleaning off from the beach very easy. We hope to come back again next year!

A very nice property a short walk from the water. All amenities we needed were provided including beach towels, kayaks, and games. The hostess was easy to communicate with and quick to respond with any questions we had. The only issue we had was with how clean the home was when we arrived. The duvet covers and pillow cases needed to be run through the washing machine to remove dirt.

Great Getaway

This house was adorable and perfect for two families of four. The screened in porch in the back was fantastic. The lake views were beautiful and the kayaks, pedal boat, and bicycles were great to have. Although it is too shallow to swim here, you can still go in the water, but would recommend water shoes. There is a public beach less than a mile away and easy to bicycle, walk or drive to. The location was great and the trail was right at the end of the driveway for walking and biking. We had a relaxing week. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

We had the best stay during our vacation at Waverly Beach! The house has everything covered, from cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, shampoo etc. A huge plus was that there was central air! The doors leading out to the balcony at night opened with screens and hearing the waves crash was pure bliss, lots of moments of relaxation to be had, plus the peddle boat and kayaks were a bonus for the kids to have fun on. Location is great and 10 minutes from Ridgeway and also across from the bike trail. Beds/bedding were clean and nice with down comforters and clean white duvets. One of the best parts was the outdoor shower! Easy check in/check out and really appreciated the flexibility!

We left a day early!. ...The pros, the property is in a lovely area, the views are stunning, the beach is hard packed and easy to walk on, the water is shallow for children, the house is large, the bathrooms are newly done, there are lots of toys, bikes, kayaks, outdoor shower, the kitchen has is well stocked with lots of plates, cups etc. There is an extra frig, and laundry is handy. Cons, the bedrooms are hot, the a/c didn't work, I set it at 16 and couldn't get it below 22,(in every bedroom) the beds while large have uncomfortable mattresses, lots of dining chairs - not one that is comfortable, the sectional around the TV looks good - but is also uncomfortable. We left because our backs were killing us and the bedrooms were too hot. For the money (600 a night all in) I don't expect the Hilton, but we do expect some luxury with comfortable well appointed furniture to go with the view.

Hi Patti, I truly apologize that you did not enjoy your stay. I wish you would have notified me you were having trouble with the air conditioning, I would have helped you. As far as dining chairs, there are 2 dining areas, I’m unsure of which ones you were referring to but I will check it out. The issues you described are things I could have taken care of if you communicated them to me. Giving a 4 star review when we were unaware of any of your concerns is unfair and affects our business. We have always prided ourselves to ensure our guests have the perfect stay. I wish you would have given us the opportunity to do so.

We had such a great experience. Very well maintained, updated, and adorable house, the cleanest rental house we've ever been in! Great location, beautiful private beach, equipped with everything you need. The owner was friendly and quickly responded to all of our questions. Highly recommend, we look forward to going back.

Our stay on Fort Erie was wonderful! The house was clean, beautiful and provided many cozy spaces for our family to gather comfortably. The amazing view of the water could be seen throughout the house! The porches off the bedrooms were so inviting, as well as the amazing screened in porch where we spent much of our time surrounded by the beautiful water view.The kitchen was well stocked and provided us with all we needed.We were delighted with this lovely Beach House and definitely plan to stay there again!
