Enjoy this large home which features plenty of space for the entire family/friends to spread out and also large spaces to enjoy together! The updated kitchen is stocked with every item you could ever need for preparing your meals. The living room features a cozy gas fireplace to stay warm by all year long. A second game room is located upstairs for another group or for the kids to gather in. Peace and quiet is available just out the back door with a wrap around deck, ample seating for all. Enjoy the view of the forest from the hot tub.

Downtown Tahoe City with an abundance of great restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, etc. Take a stroll down the river path (bike and stroller friendly) with miles of comfortable walking or biking alongside the Truckee River, and past Lake Tahoe. Commons beach in downtown Tahoe City has a large playground great for kids, grassy lawn, and beach area for relaxing and taking in the sights of the lake and surrounding mountains. Miles of easily accessible paved bike/hiking trails minutes from your front door. Up for some adventure, try the river rafting down the Truckee River. In the Winter months, the closest ski resorts include Granlibakken Resort, Homewood Mountain, Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar. Cross country skiing is close by and rentals are available at Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area. Please visit our website and follow our “Tahoe Guide” with updated things to do in your specific area.

Pet Friendly:
Maximum number of dogs allowed is 2, additional fees apply per dog.

Parking:
Parking is available for 4 cars at the home. 2 cars in the garage and 2 cars in the driveway. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

The place was amazing. The layout of the home was exceptional. That location was great. The host left great information regarding things to do and places to visit. We had a wonderful time. We would definitely book this property again!

Wonderful Getaway

Our adult children joined us for a 5 night getaway and it was perfect! We loved the comfortable, tasteful decor, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. The location is great - forested neighborhood close to the lake and Tahoe City. Plus the entire home was absolutely spotless. We plan to return!

Great house, great location. We have stayed in many properties over the years and this is one of the better ones. Even though the property is excellent it has issues that made it unable for us to give it 5 stars compared to other similar priced properties we have stayed in.Pro’s - bedrooms, bathrooms, outdoor space, location, quality Kitchen appliances, very clean, close to trails, game room makes a great remote office space that is a quiet part of the house. Checking and check out communications simple and easy to follow.Welcoming home to dogs.Con’s - very little kitchen counter space, could do we a small rolling island. Toaster oven is about as useful as a kids easy bake oven. Cutting boards are cheap thin plastic and don’t lay flat. All this made it more of a challenge to prep for cooking. Nice laundry room but no detergent.Hot tub did not work the whole time we were there. Communication and ownership of the issue was poor. They refunded us for the lack of an appliance which is 186 per the policy, however based on the title of the house advertising a hot tub as a selling point we thought this was a good gesture yet disappointing.

A home away from home

Walking distance to town. Clean, roomy and comfortable . Had some problems with a non working toilet and locked spa but a quick call to the cabin’s management company and the problem was solved…very fast response time was so appreciated..

Enjoyed our stay

Beautiful home. Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed our stay. Only suggestion would be that upstairs bonus room bedroom had a strong dog smell and blankets were dirty. Also we wished there was a full size couch instead of just chairs and one loveseat. But overall we were pleased.

Wonderful property and location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is exactly as described and the layout works well for multiple groups and/or families with kids. There is a private master on the ground floor which worked well for the grandparents and a bonus room off of the kid's room upstairs, complete with games, kids books, and toys. The location was beautiful for staying around the area and convenient for morning trips to the North Shore. We really appreciated the ease of check in/out, communication with the rental company, and the advice on nearby activities from the owners. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would love to come back!

Absolutely Wonderful Home Near Skiing

I rented this home for 6 days between Christmas and New Years for our family of 8 ranging in age from 71 (me) to 3 yrs old. The house was nice and warm when we arrived. Everything was in good working order and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub in 35 degree weather! We were 5 minutes away from Granlibakken for sledding. I would return here in a heart beat.

This house was beautiful inside with great amenities. The backyard patios, furniture, and hot tub were great. The lot itself was large and beautiful. What I did not like about the property is that some of the front deck rails had rotted and were broken, so the deck was closed off with mesh with signs advising us not to lean on the rails. My feeling is that this was a relatively simple, but costly repair. I had grandkids, so we could not use the front decks. I would not consider this place as being walkable to Tahoe City, unless you are in good shape. It’s about 1.5 miles to downtown. Fix the deck railings, and I have no complaints. Again, this is a beautiful home on a beautiful lot.

On busy weekends, it would take us 25 minutes, and for spring weekends, only 15 minutes! Would love to stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is clean, nicely decorated with high quality fixtures and amenities. Kitchen has plenty of supplies and cookware. The backyard and deck areas are beautiful and a great place to watch birds and enjoy the view. The bear box was stuffed to the gills when we arrived so upon departure we had to remove the other people's trash and reorganize all the garbage to fit ours in as well. At first we weren't sure we could fit it and spent an hour researching trash facilities the night before departure. We couldn't find an open trash place so spent the time re-organizing all the dirty trash. Kind of a bummer but we made it work.

Quality Time with the Family

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights during our wedding weekend with our 2 year old, my sisters, and their families/kids. This property was wonderful! A very convenient location to downtown TC, Sunnyside and the best of the West Shore. The kids loved playing in the separate living area…which is really a kids wing of the house with living room, game closet and bedroom. We enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor space and cozy downstairs living room. The master bedroom is immediately inside the front door and adjacent to the garage which did make the temperature cooler than the rest of the house but it was not an issue for us. FYI they do not allow early check in requests. Highly recommend this property for quality family time!

Cozy Comfortable and Calming

The property was great. Plenty of room and amenities for the whole family. It was comfortable and cozy and was a very peaceful property. Beautiful neighborhood and yard.
