Bay of Fundy Retreat with Oceanfront Hot Tub & Wood-Burning Stove

Get up close to nature and spectacular views at this stylish, new oceanfront home. "Tidal Terrace" stands tall, overlooking the rocky shore and the world's highest tides. Relax in the hot tub perched right on the edge of the ocean and take in the incredible coastal views. Surrounded by waterfalls, hiking trails, bald eagles and stunning sunrises and sunsets, there's so much to discover. This four season, contemporary styled home is located just a short drive to local wineries, craft breweries, golf courses, and some of the best restaurants in Nova Scotia.

This custom designed vacation home was built in 2023. The MAIN FLOOR is bright with a soaring wall of windows to maximize the breathtaking views. The open concept modern kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. The large island is great for gathering and connecting with family and friends. The smart TV is installed on a swivel so it can be viewed from the kitchen island or the living room. Warm up and relax by the European designed wood stove.

The SECOND FLOOR has a primary bedroom with a king size bed, floor to ceiling windows, and room darkening curtains. Wake up to the sound of the lapping waves and a view like you're on the water.
The main bathroom has a rainfall shower with body jets and a Japanese inspired toilet/bidet.

The THIRD FLOOR is the loft which can be converted to a bedroom with a king size bed or 2 twin beds. This space has two 9 foot sliding doors that walk out onto the rooftop terrace complete with 4 luxurious lounge chairs. There is also a small office space on the third floor.

This is an exceptional property. You are literally oceanfront in a perfectly designed house. Every detail has been considered so that all you have to do is watch the Bay of Fundy’s tides roll in and out.

I almost gave fewer stars for description of the property because it was nicer than described. Seriously it is the nicest VRBO my wife and I have ever stayed in. There wasn’t even an extra charge for the bald eagle doing a fly by each of the four days we were there. We would love to return!

Splendor on the Bay of Fundy

The house is simply magnificent, and the sweeping views of the Bay of Fundy from the back decks are breathtaking. Wanda and Dwayne were excellent hosts, providing excellent recommendations to local spots and showing a keen attention to detail to make travelers feel welcome and at home. We would re-book in a heartbeat.

Beautifully appointed beach house

The house is beautiful-the setting is perfect. My husband and I were there for a weekend. We enjoyed hiking nearby and trips into nearby towns. It is a great place to unwind. Views of the water from just about every room are spectacular. The house has all the amenities needed. Wanda was very quick to respond to any questions. We loved our stay!

What a wonderful few days we had at this gorgeous home. No details have been spared in this vacation home. If you want a quiet, private location with show-stopping views this is home for you. We explored the ocean floor at low tide and enjoyed the BBQ & bonfire pit. Get your groceries before you arrive and no need to leave! Wanda was an excellent host and the house was spotless and had everything you’d hope for.

If there were more than 5 stars we would give it more! We had an absolutely wonderful stay celebrating my father’s birthday, and we would not hesitate to return. From the day we booked, Wanda’s communication was exceptional. So friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. The property itself is breathtaking. Perched atop the rocks with completely unobstructed views of the bay. The setting is truly spectacular. Whether enjoying your morning coffee or watching the sunset, the views never get old. The home was spotless! It is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It’s clear that no detail was overlooked. From the fully stocked kitchen to the impressive high-tech features throughout the home - every aspect was designed with comfort and convenience in mind. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after each day of exploring wine country. One of our favorite features was the beautiful hot tub. We spent many nights and mornings soaking while gazing out across the bay. This is a very special property and Wanda has created an outstanding guest experience. Highly recommended and we will return

On our first visit to the quaint village of Baxter's Harbour, we were driving down Baxter Harbour Road and were struck by the breathtaking view of Cape Split and the stunning 50 foot tall Baxter Harbour falls. A few years later we were fortunate to become part of this friendly community. And with Black Hole Falls right next to us, we knew we had found our dream property.

The new "Saltair Nordic Spa and Wellness" is 5 km away and is a beautiful place to unwind and restore. www.saltairnordic.ca

And there is so much to do nearby! We are within 30 minutes drive to Nova Scotia Wine Country, Craft breweries, arts and cultural events, Acadia University, farmer's markets, and some of the best restaurants in the province. For more adventure, ski the slopes of Martock, play some golf or hike Cape Split.

A Bald Eagle that we have named "Bart" usually does his daily fly by. He often perches on a tree next to the cottage as he is waiting to dive into the water for fish.

There is an abundance of sea life which can be viewed (from time to time) from our cottage. Examples include Ocean Sunfish, which is one of the largest bony fish in the world and has a dorsal fin similar to a shark. Also Seals and Atlantic Striped Bass, which are popular catches for local fisherman.
