Gorgeous contemporary home located on over 100 feet of private lakeshore on the East side of Torch Lake, just 3 miles from the sandbar. This home was completely remodeled from top to bottom in 2020 and 2024. The lakeshore was landscaped in November 2025. You will love the beautiful torch lake views from almost every room. Enjoy air conditioning, wireless internet, 4 spacious bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, 2 full baths inside and one outdoor shower. The home boasts a large yard to play in, water toys, brand new landscaping including a 30 foot sandy beach, firepit, 80' dock new in 2024 with a private patio to relax on and is located on a private street with quiet neighbors.

Family getaway

The house is a little hard to find but that also made it so perfect. Waking up to sunrises out on the dock each morning was a real treat. The house itself is amazing and we couldn’t have asked for more, I highly recommend booking this home.

Great Host and House!!!

First time at Torch Lake and what an amazing place. This house was perfect for us and exceeded our expectations. Very clean and well stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. Perfect home to relax and have fun! Host was great at communicating. Would definitely like to stay here again.

Quick getaway before school starts

As VRBO owners, our local managers and we are available 24/7 to answer questions or provide answers to issues, and would definitely had responded to this renter and provided a solution had she contacted us. Unfortunately, she did not contact us at all during her entire stay. In fact, this is the first time we have become aware of any issues whatsoever for her rental. We will be checking into this complaint and making sure this does not happen again.

Perfect torch lake house with an awesome view!

This was a very nicely remodeled home right on torch lake. It is newly remodeled with a perfect view of Torch Lake. I loved all of the bedrooms, most with king beds. Lots of room to hang out with friends and family! It is a bit of a walk down to the lake, but well worth it. Communication with the host and check in process was very easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything from start to finish was incredible. Lisa was extremely accommodating and the place is gorgeous. It was the little things that made big difference’s you will not be disappointed the view is breathtaking.

Incredible location on Torch Lake!

Beautiful accommodations including 3 King beds and one room with 2Q’s; lots of space for our large family! The showers were hot with great water pressure. The deck included a large patio table and chairs, lounge chairs. and stairs to a manicured back yard that leads to a new private 80’ dock. Breathtaking views from each floor of the house; the bottom floor with walkouts. :) Responsive customer service and, a five star rating!

Family getaway

The property was very nice, exactly as pictured. The stairs to get down to the lake are steep and the dock is old, but we didn’t have any issues with the dock. Torch lake is beautiful. Possibly the cleanest lake we’ve been to. The house is on the opposite site as the marina’s, if you’re planning to rent a boat or jet ski, it’s at least a 30 minute drive. We had a major issue the last night with the plumbing. I was hoping it was a fluke. The owner did answer my call, however we were unable to get a plumber out to assist. We were cleaning water through the middle of the night, couldn’t use the water and couldn’t eat breakfast. Luckily it was the last night and unfortunately not much we could do given the timing. The owner was responsive, however it is a remote area. Terrible circumstances, but out of our control.

Best views on Torch Lake!

Everything about this house was perfect! My wife and I stayed here with our 1 year old and a few friends and had a great time. The house was really nicely renovated, a good upgrade from the usual rustic log cabin options usually available. We rented a pontoon for a few days so the private dock was super convenient, and the location on the lake was perfect as it was quiet but still just 10 minutes to the sand bar. Would definitely stay again!

Labor Day Get Away

We enjoyed our stay so much we didn't want to leave. The house was spotless and in a great location on the lake. We can't wait to go back. Lisa answered all our questions and was very helpful.

Great location, beautiful home, but needed a lot of cleaning

I'll start by saying the home was a perfect size and location for my family of 8 and overall we had an excellent vacation. It appears to have been recently remodeled; however, the cleanliness of the home was not up to our standard. Despite the listing saying "no pets", we spent the first hour of our check-in (and several more throughout the stay), vacuuming the excessive amount of dog hair on the sofa, beds and floors. We washed all of the silverware before using it and placed a paper towel in the utensil drawer to avoid all of the left-over crumbs within. Despite the cleanliness, the home was an excellent choice for our family vacation. If the home gets a deep cleaning, I recommend this rental to anyone.

Lovely house on beautiful lake

For us the nicest thing about the house was the view of the lake from the main living area. The house is a bit uphill from the lake which results in a more expansive view. It is shielded by trees from the neighboring houses, so you can sit out on the deck and not see anybody else. If you are an early riser you can catch amazing sunrises over the lake. The house is in very good condition and the furnishings are comfortable.

Torch Lake Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! House was very clean and comfortable. Although we only had four people for most of the trip this home can easily accommodate 8. The view from the back porch was spectacular, a great way to start your day with a cup of coffee. Lisa was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Communication from her was great as well. Torch lake itself is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, sand bottom and crystal clear. If you choose to stay here you will love it!

This lakefront location on Torch Lake is very convenient to boating to the sandbar, the town of Alden, or Dockside restaurant. It is very convenient and a 10 minute drive to the city of Elk Rapids, which has many great shops and restaurants. Traverse City is just a short 35 minute ride away.

Every guest enjoys the location, new landscaping, firepit, sandy beach and the privacy that this home provides. Newly landscaped in November 2025, this home is unique with a sandy beach on the shore of Torch Lake.
