We had a really good stay at Oyster Bay Oasis. Reservations and check-in were smooth and the home is as advertised. The neighborhood was very quiet. No issues with maintenance. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Oyster Bay Oasis. The house was clean and the location was great. It is difficult to find rentals that allow you to bring your dogs and that made this house a perfect fit for us.

A nice property with a few exceptions. The bathroom and kitchen sinks need to be replaced. Finishes are chipped and scratched. The landscaping could use some cleaning up/sprucing up! Also, please leave directions to use the tv. Unfortunately we were there during a nor’easter in September so we wanted to watch some tv. With 3 remotes, all with various options, we spent more time trying to get anything we could watch than we actually watched. Overall the house was nice though!

This house was awesome in terms of layout, space, beds, etc. Pics are accurate, location is great (Deep Hole). The only things to be aware of:1) We couldn't turn on the outside fan in the screened-in porch. Tried all switches, but none seemed to work. I'm sure they'll figure this out soon though. 2) The closet bedroom on the top floor does not have much space due to the water heater running through it. Not a big deal. We definitely hope to stay again next year!

Great location and older cute home

The home is older and outdated but made for a comfortable and homey short stay for our family trip to the area. The home did have a very strong odor of moth balls which was overwhelming and the kitchen lacked in cooking utensils. The location was very close to everything.

We really enjoyed our stay in Chincoteague! The home was comfortable and the screened back porch was especially lovely — the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Everything was as described and made for a relaxing getaway.The only drawback was that some of the plates and cookware in the kitchen hadn’t been cleaned properly, though this may have been due to the guests before us. Not a big issue, but worth mentioning.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again!

This was the perfect spot for us and our 2 dogs. It worked well for working remotely and was just a short bike ride into the park or to any restaurant. This was also a great location for our reactive dogs, as it was such a quiet street for walking and just a mile from a short, dog friendly trail. The outdoor porch was a great spot to have coffee and listen to the birds; there is a gate at the top of the stairs so our dogs could be out there with us. We launched the kayaks from the nearby boat launch and had a wonderful time kayaking before sunset! We did not have a vehicle to drive the kayaks, so we carried them to the launch (0.5 miles) - I would definitely recommend finding a way to drive them, but it was so nice to have the kayaks!Run by a company, the rental does feel ‘colder’ than an a typical Air B&B and had the bare minimum supplies. The interior is older (couches) & we re-washed some pots/pans prior to their use. Beds were comfy but I would bring my own pillow next time!
