This charming apartment, with terrace and garden, is located in one of the most typical areas of Fontaínhas, in downtown Porto, close to all the main tourist attractions.
Ideally located to take advantage of all that the city has to offer, 10 minutes walk from Campo 24 Agosto station (access to the airport in 40 minutes).
It is an excellent starting point, pleasant and comfortable to discover Porto and its surroundings.

This beautiful apartment is spacious, very bright in a new building.
It includes two spacious bedrooms (sheets, duvets, pillows provided) and cupboards, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge, an oven, a kettle, an espresso machine , a vacuum cleaner, iron with its table and all kitchen hardware. The living room includes a dining area, a flat screen TV, free wifi connection. The bathroom includes toiletries (soap, shampoo, shower gel), towels provided and a hairdryer.

Amazing place

Central Location

Steps to the Douro River and accessible to everything. Everything we needed for our stay was supplied!

The apartment was very nice and clean and within a 15 minute walk to the Ribeira and The upper level of the Dom Luis bridge. It was outside the major tourist area, but give you access to it readily. We are glad we stayed here.

Fantastic flat

Party of four adults. We had a great stay, location is perfect, quite street, walking distance to all the sights. Apartment is secure and stocked with everything you would need. Due to rain we didn't use the backyard. If we make it back to Porto we would stay here again.

Good location and nice space

Check in peocess was a bit choppy but the apartment is in a nice area to walk to many different places. Many restaurants available in the area. The outdoor space is nice and the apartment was clean. Stairs are very narrow but ofders a good space to relax and hamg out. Host was nice to work with.

Fantastic Stay

Check-in was simple, communication fantastic… close to downtown. Just Uber and leave the rental. Saw more here than a lot of places. The apartment was great. It was also Clean and beds were comfortable. Would stay here again as you can also walk down the street at the bottom of the hill next to the river all the way downtown as well.

Convenient but uphill walk from Metro to apartment. Safe area, easy to get to locations. Grocery a few doors down.

Porto break

Enjoyable stay in Porto in good accommodation - coordination with owners was easy and efficient. The spacious balcony area was excellent for evening relaxation. Quiet neighbourhood with c. 15 minutes walk to centre.

Great stay

Great location, intially a little musty in the downstairs bedrooms. Very good air con which was needed - 30c some days and comfy beds and pillows. Well equipped kitchen and useful to have a bathroom on each level. Would go back again

Nice space, but poor host, musty, and spiders

It's a nice space in a good location, but when we arrived the host couldn't be bothered to let us in early to drop off our luggage. So we were stuck with luggage for 6 hours, and the office was close by. There was a welcome GLASS of port; our previous location left the 7 bottle. We had to clean up particles, dirt and hair, and wash the floors ourselves on arrival. Dirty. Very musty smell downstairs and dehumidifier ran and filled continuously. 7 spiders killed in our bedroom. We were bitten and complained, so the host left a can of bug spray. No other communication althought they did "clean" again at our day 7. Host needs to learn how to host.

It was a Joy!

Modern and comfy with a well appointed kitchen and bonus outdoor spaces. Close to town. The Property Manager gave us lots of well organized information about Porto. Wanted to stay longer but we had to go home. Till next time.

Convenient and comfortable for 2 couples.

Very convenient and comfortable apartment in a location near the river, a short but hilly walk to the historic center. We enjoyed our stay and felt quite secure. The apartment had everything we needed for a few days. The hosts were kind enough to email us a packet with nearby restaurants and sights for advance planning.

Great spot in Porto

A very well laid out, clean and conveniently located property in Porto. Check-in and supports were helpful and responsive. Only thing to note (and has been noted by others) is a musty smell, particularly noticeable in the lower level. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

A Few Days in Porto

This is a wonderful modern apartment that is well located to explore Porto. Unit is bright and well appointed. Management company was great to work with. Pedro met us at check in and spent time with us answering all our questions and making suggestions for local restaurants and stores. We walked everywhere we wanted to go from this location. Would definitely stay again.

Bright, easy apartment

Everything is as pictured, no nasty surprises on the ground! The apartment is about a 10-15 min walk from the center of things. It was nicely furnished in an Ikea kind of way, which works well with the older charm of the building. We arrived earlier than expected (though still within normal hours) and the company accommodated the change easily. Also it was very quiet. Agree with another comment that the stairs are pretty steep going down, if that would bother your group.

First time in Porto

Nice upside down apartment It would be helpful in the info given to know that one of the bathrooms is on a different floor from the bedrooms In a quiet neighbourhood with a short walk to the centre Met by Ismael with a glass of port which was a nice touch I'm very picky about about cleanliness and it could've been cleaner There were lots of long dark hairs in the double bedroom and downstairs bathroom that could not have been from anyone in our party The musty smell downstsirs mentioned in other reviews was evident when we arrived the source of which i suspect is the shower which had mold around the base and especially when you are in the shower and the door closed the part revealed was thick with black mold It was nice to have some outdoor space and breakfast on the terrace was lovely but a bit of weeding would improve the outlook

Nice but not without difficulties

The property management team was very responsive until we actually got there. They were a bit snippy when I had a complaint, but made up for it when we had trouble operating the clothes washer. I recommend using them to get picked up from the airport, but not to the train station, because the cost is the same as it was from the airport for a 5-minute ride to the station. A taxi would have been a third of the cost. The description should be clearer & show that both bedrooms are down a steep flight of stairs. This was difficult for my mother & she fell once. Overall though, pretty good.

Lovely stay in Porto!

This is an amazing apartment on a quiet side street out of the tourist madness. It sits in an older "classic" building, but the interior has been renovated and appears as pictured. Ana arranged for a much appreciated early check-in to match our train arrival. She greeted us with a cheery smile and a glass of port. Her dining recommendations were right-on! The apartment is is short walk down to a park overlooking the river and a short walk up to the local park, restaurants, shops, and bus stops. We found all we needed in the nearby supermercados and bakeries including the fantastic local wines that we drank on the deck each day. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor which is one flight down from the entry. The first floor living area was open and airy. The kitchen was well supplied. There were two bathrooms each having a shower. Since this was our first stop, we did not realize how luxurious that was. There were 4 of us and we were quite comfortable. We would highly recommend this apartment and MajordHome management company for your travel needs.
