This is a beautiful cabin! It was so very clean and had everything we needed. The weather was perfect during our stay and there is nothing like enjoying your morning coffee on the deck. The view is amazing. We'll be back!

Location of cabin was beautiful. Perfect for days exploring and evenings playing pool/video games, sitting in the hot tub, or all of the above. The kitchen had everything we could need. We did see 1 bear sitting in front of the cabin one night when we got back from exploring

Great. Loved the cabin. It was clean and well stocked. Check-in was very easy and the Hosts were great in their communication, they offered numerous options to consider while in the area. Struggled with the pad lock on the Bear cage around the trash, but eventually got it open. Likely operator error :)

Cabin was great and beautiful. The area was wonderful. Saw many bears. Owners were very helpful and replied quickly when the dishwasher was leaking. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cookware. Only thing was wish there were more pillowcases for all the pillows and there was a sheet rolled up in the closet with beet cans, (probably some teenager from previous stayers lol), but other than that everything was great!

Ideal Location

Chad (host) is amazing. From spot on recommendations, to providing all essentials one could need at the beach. The property was spotless and very comfortable. There is no kitchen but there is a small fridge/freezer. I didn’t really feel the need for a kitchen with all the dining options close by.

Nice digs for a getaway!

Accurate description of the property, clean, nice walking distance to beach, dining & shops frequented by locals, the manager was most attentive! When trying to find the property be aware the house numbers are not apparent - even though I grew up there/know the area I parked on the street to find the address by walking. It's no one's fault - just the architectural design! Know the driveway is almost at an intersection close to a stop sign. Access is best from the street with a number - not by the name. - it's on the right immediately before the stop sign. (When you're driving away from the beach). The setting is like being in a nice hotel with 2 rooms. Spacious, pleasant decor, nice bedding, towels, bathroom - it's a quiet.area. If you're bringing kids know that the focal points of mini-fridge, keurig with lots of pods, tv, are not in what looks like the adult room, the room with the full bed - they're in the larger room with twin beds. Bring a hair-dryer - there's no ice so be prepared to buy it or bring some ice trays.

Wonderful beach rental!

This property is very clean and updated. Chad is very communicative and is a wonderful host! The property is very easy to get to and is just a short walk from the beach. I definitely recommend!

I loved staying at this property! Everything was perfect, absolutely no complaints what so ever. Chad is the best host ever. He went over and above to make sure we had all the info to make the most of our stay. Whenever I am traveling with a small group I will definitely make this my preference at VaB!!

Great beach getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Toes in the Sand. The place was clean and welcoming. The beds were cozy and there were plenty of towels. The kids loved using the boogies boards and it was just a short walk to the beach. Chad was super helpful with restaurant/activity recommendations.

Perfection!

I am not a good writer, so I normally shy away from writing reviews. This time I had to make an exception. Chad's place is inviting and so clean. The location is perfect, with the beach just a short walk away. Chad is the kindest host who is willing to help with recommendations at any time! He even took the time to mail back some left behind items. Delicious restaurants are as close as a block away! Go to Nick's for breakfast, you will not be sorry. The mimosas are so good! We found Virginia Beach to be one of the most friendliest and affordable places we have ever been. Go visit! Plan your stay at TOES IN THE SAND!

Home away home

Since the day one Chad communicated with us and throughout the last day of staying. Beach and everything else were walking distance. Boogie boards, beach chairs and bicycles are such good addition for us to used. Me and kids were very comfortable at his home. Shower was excellent too!! We enjoyed our time with such comfort and definitely would like to go back. Thank you Chad! Definitely recommended!!

Perfect for a quick trip

Chad's home is awesome. It's two-ish blocks from the beach, surrounded by stores and shops, CVS, and other amenities. He has bikes, boogey boards, an area to wash your feet, and anything else you'd need for a fun beach weekend. It's clean and the rooms are spacious.

We enjoyed our stay at Chad’s. Everything we needed and then some was provided; beach chairs, bicycles, a mini fridge, Kuerig, local attractions and recommendations provided, all in a beautiful, comfortable setting, 2 blocks from the beach!. Chad was very attentive and promptly responded to any questions we had, even offering for us to call him day or night while staying at his place. We felt safe and secure to enjoy our time, not having to worry at all about accommodations. If we make it back to Virginia Beach, we will definitely be looking up Chad’s place.

Vacances près de l’océan!

Très belle résidence, propre et située près des attraits touristiques. La plage est à quelques minutes à pied ainsi qu’à plusieurs restaurants. Nous avons apprécié le stationnement pratique ainsi que la possibilité de se déplacer à vélo. Notre hôte Chad a été très accueillant et prêt à répondre à toutes nos questions. Comfortable Stay

We enjoyed this property- The high thread count sheets/ nice hot shower water pressure complimentary bikes with locks and beach chairs were great bonuses! The key code door lock was great for us and our teenagers so we didn’t have to worry about lost keys etc! The host gave amazing recommendations that we we had great experiences at! Thanks for the lovely stay!

Great location in VA. Beach. A short walk to the beach less than 5 minutes to great restaurants.

Great location for a bargain!

We stayed here for a wedding at the Cavalier hotel. It was a short 0.5 miles away from the wedding which was perfect. Chad also has 4 bikes available for use. We spent the day biking up and down the beach boardwalk and we even road to the Vibe district for the Saturday market. Chad provide great instruction and the place was perfect for our small group of 3! Beds were super comfortable too which was an added plus.

Beach Getaway

Great location close to the beach, very clean and comfortable. Chad is a great host, very communicative and gave us many recommendations for places to eat and visit. While we didn't use them this trip, I look forward to using the beach cruisers in the future. We will definitely stay here when visiting VA Beach again.
