Campbell Road House sits in Greenlane, one of central Auckland's most practical addresses. Cornwall Park and Maungakiekie / One Tree Hill are right on the doorstep, with their walking tracks, the summit obelisk, the grazing sheep, the Cornwall Park Cafe and the Stardome Observatory, and a park entrance is off Campbell Road itself. It is one of the great Auckland walks, and a rare thing to have at the end of the street. Greenlane village at Great South Road has cafes, a supermarket and the everyday shops. Newmarket, with its four hundred stores, restaurants and the Westfield centre, is a few minutes away, and Ellerslie Racecourse, Alexandra Park Raceway and the Auckland Showgrounds are all close by, which makes this a handy base for a race day, a concert or a trade show. The Greenlane Clinical Centre and Ascot Hospital are nearby and Auckland City Hospital is only a short drive, which matters if your visit is a medical one. Greenlane train station puts the city centre about fifteen minutes away by rail, and the Southern Motorway is close by for trips further afield. Mount Eden, the Auckland Domain, the War Memorial Museum, the Sky Tower and the waterfront are all an easy run into town, and Auckland Airport is a little under half an hour away by car.

Guests have exclusive use of the whole four-bedroom house and its garden. That includes all four bedrooms, two bathrooms, the kitchen with breakfast bar, the open dining and living areas under their raked ceilings, the laundry, the paved patio with its large outdoor table and the flat, fenced lawn. Off-street parking is available on site and fast WiFi runs throughout the house. Arrival is by contactless self check-in: full directions, entry details and your door code are sent shortly before your arrival. There are no shared spaces and no other guests.

Greenlane is one of the easier parts of Auckland to get around from. Greenlane train station is a short walk from the door and reaches the city centre in about fifteen minutes, with buses along Great South Road and Campbell Road too. An AT HOP card gives you the best fares on Auckland trains, buses and ferries. Off-street parking is on site, and the Southern Motorway is a couple of minutes away. Uber and other ride-share services operate widely. Auckland Airport is under half an hour by car.

Before you book this Greenlane holiday home. The whole house is private and self-contained, with no shared spaces and no other guests. It sleeps six, has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the minimum stay is three nights, so it works for a short visit as well as a long one. Check-in is from 3pm by self check-in and check-out is by 10am; earlier or later times are often possible - just ask. Maximum occupancy is six guests, including infants. This is a quiet residential street, so no parties, events or commercial photography, and no noise outdoors after 10pm. The home is strictly smoke-free indoors and out. Pets are considered on request, so please ask before you book. The lawn is flat and fully fenced, which suits younger children. Included in each stay: fresh linen and towels, tea, coffee, pantry basics, starter toiletries, washing machine and dryer, fast unlimited WiFi and off-street parking. The home is professionally cleaned before every arrival. For stays longer than two months, a full clean is compulsory; we quote this at booking and add it to your final cost.
