Very quiet area, with all nice neighbors. Stunning view of a pond with large fish in it. Downfall is its privately own and can’t be fished in by the public. Prefect for a relaxed, quiet, and couples weekend trip. The curtains on the porch provide extra privacy for either just sitting in the porch or going to and from the hot-tub.

Catlettsburg stay

Very clean place with nice walk around porch and sitting area for a camp fire. Nice place for just a couple wanting to get away from a weekend or something. The owner was very nice and answered any questions

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back! The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One thing we really appreciated was that firewood was already provided for the fire pit, which made relaxing in the evenings so easy.The attention to detail throughout the property was excellent. Everything was clearly labeled, including the remotes for the outdoor lights and bedroom, and the detailed instructions made it simple to settle in and enjoy our stay. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable, and everything felt fresh and clean.The only minor issues we noticed were a small ant problem around the window seal near the oven and some wasps around the hot tub during the daytime. However, the wasps were not an issue once the sun went down and neither concern significantly impacted our stay.Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we would highly recommend it to others. We hope to return again this fall or winter!

Very relaxing place! Beautiful little get away for a couple. Easy to find. 20 minutes from rush. Wouldnt recommend a trailer over 18 foot for parking only down side to our stay!

This was the cutest place with the nicest decor. We actually thought the smaller area was great, perfect for us 2 and our fur baby. Loved the porch with the privacy curtains, all of the solar lights, and the hot tub was nice as well! The towels and robes for the hot tub are a thoughtful extra! We didn’t use the fire pit, but plenty of wood available if we had. The shower is a great size with a good shower head! Towels are big and thick, but definitely need more wash clothes.There were a few extra things that we didn’t know right away (the bed can be adjusted!) and the outdoor lights could also be adjusted. I would recommend just a note telling those things so everyone can enjoy them for their entire stay. My only complaint would be the porch light can’t be turned off(unless that’s just something I missed) and draws bugs. That is also a positive however if you’re coming in after dark, you don’t have to worry about whether you left the light on or not. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

We also really appreciate your suggestions about highlighting the adjustable bed and outdoor lighting, along with adding a few more washcloths. We read every review carefully, and feedback like yours helps us make each stay even better. We designed the always on porch lights for the very reason you mentioned: your path will be lit (for safety) whenever you return after dark, regrettably, the bug attractor factor is a byproduct.
