This is in a large Camp Resort in the beautiful Northwest Indiana close to Lake Michigan and National Park.
The Resort has 940 sites, a 22 Acre Lake we are directly on, 4 pools, beaches, fishing (no License needed), boat rentals, Mini Golf, Tennis, Basketball, and Volleyball courts plus more items to rent. See Campground Website
*Early Spring and in Fall the Campground may not have all amenities running*
Campground is next to I94 and train tracks, some traffic noise is part of this campground experience.

You will receive all access/address information 2 days prior to arrival.
24 hour attendant at Main gate will need Booking Guest to show ID and be the driver into campgrounds.

This Log Cabin has 1 Bedroom with Queen bed, 1 full bathroom, kitchen, and a living room with a sleeper sofa that fits 2 people. Lots of new seating outside with fire pit and new landscaping.
Laundry building with extra bathrooms / showers is just a short walk away from cabin.
Hot Water heater is a small camper size, extra showers can be found in comfort stations at campground.
Check out Lakeshore Campground website to see all amenities, Boat and Golf cart rentals (Book early especially on holiday weekends they are limited).
Ranger Station has snacks and convenience items for purchase.

The cabin was fantastic and some of the amenities were a great surprise. The cabin was clean and the outside area was a great way to end the days.

The property was gorgeous (love that lake view!) and the cabin was just the right size for our group of two adults and two kids. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the cooking items we needed. We loved both the indoor and outdoor space. The campground was nice and peaceful, though the mini golf course was rundown. The hosts were very communicative, responding within minutes to our questions. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had such a lovely stay. The campground was so quaint with great lake views. The cabin was extremely well thought out and had everything we needed for preparing meals. The host was also very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend.

First, the good. There is a lot of good about this property. The host's communication was really good. The tiny home and its landscaping are lovely and very clean. The parking was ample enough for us to park our moderate sized SUV and a 26' Penske truck without impeding others. It does back to a railroad track, but the trains didn't run often and did not negatively affect our sleep or experience. The neighbors were exceptionally nice. We didn't understand that the road goes completely around the lake for an easier exit, so we thought we had to make a 3-point turn to get the Penske out. An incredibly nice neighbor saw our dilemma and actually guided my husband with the Penske out. Just wow. Angels everywhere. I arrived in our car with dogs before my husband and we thought we could just easily go directly to the tiny home with the address. Do not do this! My GPS was completely thrown by the maze of small roads running through the property and I ended up in some run-down sections. My husband did the right thing and checked in after me with the ranger station and was able to go directly to the home. We did end up with multiple wasp strings from the wasps living in the single door frame (there is a single door and a lovely sliding glass door to the patio). We swatted what we thought was one random wasp and its friends joined the fight. Ouch!All in all, it was a lovely stay, but there are, as mentioned, some areas of the park that are a bit neglected.

There was great communication with the owner. Our 7 and 8 year old had a blast in the community with a splash pad, pools, playground, arcade, concert (free) the first night we got there. There is a train that you had to get used to but we adapted. It was our girls first time fishing and they stock the pond every 3 years and we saw lots of people catching fish. The outdoor fire place was stocked with wood.
