House is super cute and very clean. Love the view of the pond. Four pairs of geese had 3 to 7 goslings each so it was a treat to watch them swimming around each morning. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Host is fantastic - friendly and responds to texted questions immediately. Convenient location to Holiday World and Lincoln State Park. Traffic is virtually non-existent so even going to Evansville was a breeze.

Overall the house was mostly clean. The biggest issue we saw was the two bedrooms the bed linens had stains on them one of them was blood stains have no idea what stain was on the other black bed sheets but you could see it. Back porch needed cleaned off it kind of looks like the property hasn't been attended to in quite a while though. Neighbors were friendly.

Good property for the money, there is a map at the entrance, otherwise it can be difficult to find, the 12N is the address for the house. It had rained all day, so the gravel roads had potholes. The house and furniture are new and everything was really nice. The community was quiet. Make sure to stop by the Candy Castle if you are going to Santa Claus.

Great Property in Dale

Well appointed property, clean and well situated to local attractions. The home was clearly recently remodeled and done beautifully. Lots of room both indoors and outdoors and the back deck is great for hanging out and enjoying the view. Roads are not paved, if that’s a concern, the bedroom with a twin bed could use at least a double, but an air mattress is available to use so it takes care of it. Lots of extra towels and sheets, and the complimentary coffee was very nice. I would recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in this area. Communication was stellar!

A Gem in Dale

This home was extremely clean and well appointed. We were there for a family reunion and needed a home base and this was perfect. The home seems recently remodeled and was clean and had extras of everything you may need, it even had a blow up mattress. The bedroom with a twin bed would be better served with a double, but the air mattress made up for that. The roads in the community are not paved, be aware of that, and it’s a bit tricky to find with just gps, but after you are familiar with the location it is very easy. Don’t be spooked by some of the run down properties, neighbors are all kind and warm. There is plenty of parking for a few cars, and the back porch was delightful. My grandson caught some fish pretty easily in the lake and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee and cookies. Communication was stellar, any questions I had were answered promptly. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a home base in this area.

The property itself was decent. It was right on the lake and it was lovely to sit on the deck to have a cup of coffee in the morning. While we were there we noted that all of our towels were wet. We notified the host and were told that they were cleaned but not completely dried. The host took our feedback and said they implemented quick dry towels so hopefully this helps future guests! While messaging with the host, she was responsive and polite! Future guests should note that there was only one thin pillow per guest on the beds, so if you need more, bring more! Additionally, we only used the master bed, but it was a very FIRM mattress. As a side-sleeper, this made sleeping difficult. I recognize that not all mattresses will work well for me, but wanted to let others know.Cleanliness-wise the property was good. All surfaces appeared cleaned with the minor exception of the mirrors, which were definitely wiped down but extremely hazy.

Kind owners, unfortunate bug problem

Let me preface by saying the owners are prompt and kind, and the hosting company Evolve was very easy to work with.Days before arriving, I found newer online reviews (made after I had reserved) stating there was a spider problem. Brown recluses. One lady was allegedly bit.We msgd Evolve and the guest contact. They assured us everything had been treated. We decided to check it out, knowing we could stay at a hotel if we needed to.The property inside is pristine; you can tell it’s a new listing. Perhaps not cozy, but very clean. Before unloading our car, we flipped every cushion and blanket. Sure enough, we found a dead recluse and a very much alive (and big) recluse. My husband spoke with a neighbor and said the house was “the talk of the community” on social because of the spiders.I spoke with the owner on the phone. She was kind and offered us a 100% refund. I’m not sure what their next steps will be with this property. Recluses take time to eliminate. I wish them the best, but I do hope the listing is removed for the time being while more treatment happens.
