Though mostly enjoyable, we did have a few issues with our stay. First, when we arrived, the trash was extremely full to the point of overflow on the street, leaving us to clean up someone else’s trash. We were promised a private parking spot behind the house which ended up being used by a trailer so we could not access it. About half of the towels were dirty and stained when we arrived and there was only 1 roll of toilet paper - we had to go out and buy more. The soap in the upstairs bathroom was empty and had been refilled with water, which was extremely obvious and gross. The shower products were also not restocked before our arrival. Overall a beautiful house and a lovely stay, just some small issues.

The pictures absolutely do not reflect the appearance of the property. The exterior of the property is overgrown with weeds everywhere. We had to ask for the grass to be cut. The parking space out back was essentially unusable. There is a high curb to drive over, and you had to back in and out of the alley. The weeds back there were about 18” inches high. We didn’t use it. The interior is dirty and hasn’t been properly maintained for a while. The carpets are stained and filthy. The dirt is built up on the stairs. The kitchen counters were not wiped down. There were many things that were broken: the handle on the kitchen sink was extremely loose and we never were able to get hot water from it. The refrigerator’s water filter needed to be changed. The water flow was so low we could barely use it. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. The bedroom light didn’t work. The bathtub didn’t drain properly and we had sewage back up in the basement. There is a leak in the upstairs bathroom and we observed mold growing on the ceiling from the water damage. We had to buy our own batteries to replace them on the front door. We were told someone would drop some off but that never happened.The neighborhood was awesome and very walkable. We appreciated the pet friendly-ness of the home.Overall, we were disappointed at having spent A LOT of money to stay there for seven weeks and have so much wrong/unacceptable.

The house is comfortable, clean, and nicely updated. The kitchen has modern appliances and is well stocked. Check-in and check-out were very easy and communication from the host was good and response to questions was fast.There is a full-sized bathroom on the second floor adjacent to the 3 bedrooms. The 2nd bathroom - although new and of good size with a large shower - is located in the basement, which may be helpful for future renters to know ahead of time in case that is a concern. We very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again.Scott
