Beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful. Cabin was well-stocked, warm and cozy. We had a great time for a weekend family getaway. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful ocean overlook through the trees. We watched the sunset over the Pacific every evening. The cabin was comfortable and clean with cute details like a record player, toy box, Adirondack chairs, etc.

This is an amazing place to stay! Gorgeous setting, easy access to nature and to day trips to Anderson Valley for wine tasting or Mendocino for brunch and a small town tour. It was perfect for a weekend getaway with my family and especially nice since we could take our family dog. We are definitely coming back!

We had the best cozy getaway. My favorite thing to do was sit by the picture window and watch the many different birds and the ocean view. We will definitely be back!

Lovely, cozy home in private setting with a blue water view of the ocean. The hot tub was wonderful- clean, just the right temperature, private, and with an ocean sunset view! Well supplied. The only thing missing was firewood for the wood stove - it was a little chilly.

I apologize about the firewood but Mendocino is so dry we never allow open fires on any of our properties but that it for safety reasons! Nicely situated on the hillside. Beautiful view of the sunset from the hot tub, chairs in the deck, or comfy chairs inside. We even saw some whales! Kitchen is stocked with enough dishware, cups, silverware etc. Bedrooms are large. The beach that’s the closest to the house is amazing. There’s also some great dining options within 10 minutes.

This was the spot ! What I needed to recharge . Not to far from Fort Bragg however far enough to feel a part of nature. Everything you need is right here including great music and a hot tub. A day trip to the river and the beach is so easy. Loved the picture window and feeling as if I was part of the trees when enjoying my morning coffee or afternoon cold tea. We will return.

There was good and bad to this stay. The property location easy to find and great. Convenient to spectacular coastline for sure. House has a cabin feeling, fine with that. Note that the second bedroom is accessible only by exiting the house and reentering down some flights of stairs, depending on your needs this could be convenient or not but I did not know this from the listing. I'm an artist and work in interior design, I really liked the artwork and wall decor, might be silly but these things matter. The hot tub is needing replacement perhaps and upon our arrival the water was the color of my morning black tea. I contacted the property managers immediately, our stay was for 3 nights , and despite some back and forth the issue was never resolved. So we did not get to use the hot tub at all. There were other tiny issues that I think are due to the property being remotely managed and not owner managed. I spoke to VRBO and they were very understanding but ultimately I feel let down by VRBO as I booked through them and there is no way to tell if the property you are booking is owner managed or professionally managed when you are making your choices. This is my first time using VRBO.

Victoria has been a wonderful guest, super nice and has been very respectful of our home, we loved hosting her! This is a great cabin with an amazing ocean view and in fact this is one of our most requested homes, it's popular! As to the hot tub, Im the manager and that is totally my fault which I have let the guest know, completely my fault and is completely unacceptable! We have been in business for over 10 years and in that time and after 40 thousand plus reservations, this is the first time that this has ever happened on our watch, my watch actually since I never pass the buck! We always let our guests know that we have a full team on standby and are always reachable by phone, text or email, customer service is extremely important, not only to me but to our entire team, we have a fantastic team. I have offered Victoria a substantial discount on a future stay as well as waived the hot tub fee completely and have even asked Victoria if there is anything else that we can do to make it right, she has ever reason to be upset, I know I would be. All of that said, she has stayed with us before and we always look forward to her arrival but after this we will probably never see her again, totally my fault! I can say , she is always a fantastic guest, always nice and has always treated our homes with the utmost respect! Wherever she ends up staying in the future, I know the hosts whoever they may be will love hosting her!

Beautiful, well equipped, little cabin, with an amazing ocean view. I’ve got this tagged as a place. I’d like to come back to. Somehow, I missed that the second bedroom downstairs is separate from the main house so just FYI if you’re traveling with kids and don’t want them separate. This was not an issue for us, but just FYI for any Buddy who’s not completely able-bodied that getting from the driveway to the front door is a slightly steep walk that is a mix of stepping stones and small stairs. It was totally fine for us, but I know my brother-in-law, who is disabled would have a hard time navigating that terrain. None of these are meant to be negative for my review. We really had a lovely day and I highly recommend.
