What a genuinely perfect spot to enjoy Lake Wateree… and life! The cottage is well stocked and beautifully decorated. There are SO many great spots to sit and relax, enjoy the lake breezes, swim in the warm waters, and kayak around the islands. THANK YOU for sharing this great place.

Best stock place I've ever been at Crock-Pot griddle. It was perfect. We enjoyed our pets there. We will go back nicest cabin we've stayed in in a very long time.

Check‑in and check‑out were quick and communication was smooth. The view from the back of the house is lovely. That said, the front of the property, which isn’t shown in the listing photos, looks neglected and somewhat eerie, and the shed appears unused and cluttered. Inside, the house has a strong odor and feels like it hasn’t been cleaned properly for quite some time. The living room has no curtains, and the rug is noticeably dirty. The kitchen is decent and well‑stocked with seasonings.

This was the best house! Location was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Being across from the islands was great since we love to paddle board and kayak around the lake. We absolutely will stay here again. Neighbors were friendly and tolerant of our teenagers lol.

Everything was so relaxing. It was just what we wanted. The house had a “old timer” feel and it was so beautiful! No one complained, we truly had the best time!

This lake house is absolutely top-notch! Comfort, convenience and location. The owner is very detailed oriented and it shows. Lake view especially with the fire pit and dock, spectacular!

The property was exactly as presented when I was looking for a Lake vacation home.Home is full of character, Clean, right on the water with everything you needed right there. We enjoyed the fishing and kayaking so much along with just sitting on the screened in porch overlooking the water watching the wildlife swim and fly by daily . Even the " Lake House Pet" had a relaxing vacation "cute touch". Shane was on the spot responsive with any question...Definitely had no needs or issues staying here. Will definitely vacation here again & again!!!

We had such a wonderful family vacation! The property was a pleasant surprise. Water wraps around about 3/4 of it, making it feel so private, with beautiful views, sunrises, and sunsets. We also loved the easy walk from the house to the water with no big hill.The fishing was amazing! There’s plenty of shoreline to fish from, plus a well-lit dock. We caught many fish including nine fish over 15 pounds and several measuring 24–30 inches! The fire pit area was wonderful, with plenty of firewood and even a separate pile of kindling. We loved making s’mores there.The screened-in porch was perfect for enjoying nature without the bugs. Especially nice to be outside on a rainy day. Just outside is a separate patio with a table and two cozy rocking benches. We saw deer and even a bald eagle near its nest across the pond!Inside has a cozy, rustic feel with original wood floors and ceiling beams, but updated bathroom showers & great water pressure. There are two bedrooms with queen beds, plus another room with two daybeds and trundles. The kitchen appeared well stocked, and there’s a washer and dryer, TVs in every room and great Wi-Fi.The owner provides fishing poles, six kayaks, life jackets, inner tubes, croquet, cornhole, games and more. Check-in and checkout were easy, the owner was easy to reach, and we appreciated having outdoor trash cans rather than needing to take trash off-site. So many thoughtful touches made this a wonderful family getaway. We’d love to return!

We stayed at this lovely cabin while attending a family reunion in Camden. It was such a cute and comfortable place. The screened porch overlooking the lake was a big hit with everyone. Our local contact was very helpful and responsive. So, if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in the Camden area, give this sweet cabin a try.

This was a perfect vacation! As soon as we opened the door I knew this house was it! The beautiful hardwood floors, the windows overlooking the lake, the beams and character the house has is wonderful. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals, the beds and trundle beds were comfy and the water pressure in the shower was spot on! Campfires with s’mores around the fire pit was roomy and the dock was very accessible getting off and on the boat. Views were stunning and we enjoyed watching the Eagle. I could say more… we were truly impressed and will definitely be back! Shawn was an amazing host too. You won’t go wrong and I hope you appreciate this lovely home as much as we did!

Great getaway

Shane was AMAZING!!! So responsive & quick and it was SO great having him host my VERY 1st VRBO rental. We truly felt like we were at home. Had everything we needed and then some. The kitchen was so well equipped, the bedrooms were very big and beds comfy, the living room off the kitchen offered enough space to relax, the sunroom was massive & the backyard screened in porch overlooking the lake was AMAZING!! All the windows at the back of the home viewed an ISLAND!! I am SO happy I found Shane & this rental. The rest of my family will be coming with me next year to this home. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!

Loved the home and property. So much more than we expected. Wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with every kind of cookware you could need. Well stocked with necessities and lots of kayaks and floats, towels, long chairs etc. everything you could need for a week at the lake! Excellent fire pit too. We loved it!
