The property was clean. The location was perfect. The only drawback was there wasn’t air conditioning in the bunk house so it was hot in there. They did supply fans for the bunkhouse. The host were amazing. If we had any issues all we had to do was text. We will be staying here again if we get back up to Wisconsin.

Our hosts paid special attention to all the little details. We were looking to get away for a couple of days. It turned out the weather could not have been better. We took advantage of the kayaks, bicycles, badminton, beach walking and we ventured out to Port Washington. Since we mostly ate "in" we found the nearby Piggly Wiggly indispensable. Rating this one an A

Great time at the Lake Cottage! Very clean, well stocked. Appreciated the water bottles and all the firewood. A few steps from the beach and great views all day from fire pit area. Loved watching the sunrise and moon over the lake. Alan and Linda are great hosts!

The perfect retreat at the end of our Lake Michigan circle tour. Beautiful beach front plenty of places to relax. The cottage has huge windows where the sunrise is amazing we sat and watched the waves and the seagulls. The host was easy to communicate with and no problems with entering the property. So many bonuses they stocked the fridge with water the freezer with ice and left snacks which all was so thoughtful and appreciated. We would definitely vacation here again.

This was our 2nd visit to the Lake Cottage and we loved it just as much! A few added improvements reflect how much the owners care for this property. We had great weather for our 4 day stay, which allowed our family and 3 young kids to enjoy all the yard games and kayaking. A tree had fallen near the beach and the owners encouraged us to have a bonfire right there on the sand. These are memories we will cherish and we hope to return :)

Wonderful! Beautiful, secluded property and it is right on Lake Michigan with your own private beach right out the door. We celebrated our anniversary! It was wonderful, sleeping, listening to the sounds of the waves. We grilled out, had a fire and roasted marshmallows at the Lakeside fire pit, we laid back in the loungers late at night and use the binoculars to stargaze. We visited Cedar Valley cheese store and got ice cream. Then ventured Sheboygan and Port Washington. The hosts were very friendly, accommodating, and all of the amenities and things they had for us were amazing! We are already planning our trip for next year, thank you again so much for sharing your beautiful property with us.

Host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. The property was very clean and had everything you could need plus some really nice special touches. I really enjoyed my stay. It’s right on the water which was fantastic. The property is quite large so if you’re a family, the kids have plenty of room to play and a nice beach too.

The property was just beautiful! We loved the amenities and all of the activities that were made available for us. The view of the lake was absolutely magical. I highly recommend and we definitely plan to return!

Small but cozy. Wasn't expecting bunk beds to be separate from the actual cottage but I may have missed this in the original posting.Loved the amenities. Spent alot of time by the fire and enjoyed the access to kayaks.Did not like the water in cottage as it had a very strong rotten egg smell.

Thank you to all our wonderful guests. Unfortunately this particular guest snuck in extra people which put us over capacity, also there was some theft and carpet stains, he was sent a very small charge for this and he retaliated with this bad review.

Traveling from Southeast Missouri, we arrived at the property and it looked exactly as pictured. The water was beautifully green and blue as shown. The cabin, furnishings, and amenities (games) were great also. We booked the property with the intent to get away and relax and that’s exactly what we did. We will definitely stay again!

This property was absolutely beautiful, and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was the perfect getaway for our family of four with two little kids. They spent hours playing in the water and on the sandy beach, and having Lake Michigan as our backyard for the weekend was so special.As a mom of little ones, I tend to pack everything but the kitchen sink when we travel. I was so appreciative of all the thoughtful extras the hosts provided—snacks, bottled water, s’mores supplies, condiments, charcoal, lighter fluid, coffee, and so much more. Those little touches made such a difference and took one less thing off my very long packing list. We’ll definitely be able to pack lighter next time!The home was exceptionally clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. We made so many wonderful memories here and are already looking forward to booking another stay. Highly recommend!

This is a little slice of heaven! The house isn’t huge, but the hosts make sure you will have EVERYTHING you need. The view and beach access is priceless. My husband and I, and our 16 and 18 year old sons, had a great week kayaking, playing badminton, riding bikes, playing board games, and exploring nearby towns including Sheboygan and Milwaukee. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here!

A beautiful location right on the beach. The owners were very thoughtful with all of the extra perks to make our stay comfortable…even a bottle of wine! It was so peaceful and quiet, exactly what the doctor ordered!

Our visit was perfect! The cozy cottage provided the best views of Lake Michigan with what felt like a private beach all to ourselves. The hosts provided a clean house, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (dishes, silverware, cups, etc.) and extra amenities like snacks, water, and fire pit accessories. We will absolutely be visiting again!

Alan and Linda were wonderful hosts. The views were amazing and the peace was what we were looking for. We wanted a quiet, relaxing place to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and this was perfect. We grilled out, lit a fire by the beach and made s’mores. We biked and played cornhole. The only issue we had was that we didn’t book for a longer stay. We are already planning our next stay.

The view of Lake Michigan is hands down the best. Alan and Linda were so accommodating and welcoming. The place was cozy and the fireplace with the view made us never want to leave.
