The only thing I would say is that the front stairs to go into the house needs a railing to hold onto. The stairs are steep for older people.Everything else is very nice and clean! I would stay there again! We had a very nice time.

We came to somerset to visit family The house is located in a great area easy to get to and easy to business area Lots of places to visit and eat, krogers and walmart are very close Lots of shopping We can't wait to come back to stay

We brought our family down to Lake Cumberland for the weekend. The house was very nice and exactly what we were looking for!

I enjoy paddle boarding and sea kayaking. For tall cliffs and rock formation use Buck creek boat ramp. And Pittman creek behind the house use the ramp on Waitsboro road. It about 8 miles round trip by boat but there a lot of geode on the right just before the boat club. Got a couple of good pics of an eagle on that paddle. For paddle boarding I Liked the ramp off E 1248. Im glad I made the drive to Orchard/Riddle Ramp, Monticello the water was clearer but not many cliffs there. These are the ones I used there are so many more to explore. Also enjoy hiking at Natural Arch Scenic Area.

Family weekend getaway

This is the second we have rented this house in the last year. It is a nice and peaceful location to visit. Very affordable price for a 3 bedroom house. We will be a repeat customer.

Time with family

Property was clean and everything we expected. The host were great and very attentive. My family comes to Somerset often and have been to every hotel in town. We will be staying here from now on.

Beautiful Home and Location

The location is beautiful and the neighborhood is very quiet. Had to get use to the train horns at night though! The size and layout of the house was perfect for our family of 4. We had an amazing time hiking in Daniel Boone National Forest.

Everything that was advertised was spot on! Our entire stay was lovely. The house was immaculate, the check in process was easy. I would definitely go back but maybe when it’s a bit warmer! I highly recommend this VRBO!

This is the first I’m hearing of any issues?!? You can see from my reviews the home is very clean. I would expect a complaint or message especially if you found bed bugs???? That’s unacceptable. What shells? The home is extremely well stocked, you booked for 6 and brought 10 people. You should have been charged extra. You did not follow check out procedures and my cleaners had to take trash bags to a dumpster as there were so many. If you ever have issues with your stay you need to reach out to the host during that time, not write a fictitious review after.

Perfect Place

July-2024, stayed for a week of exploring the Daniel Boone National Forrest on touring motorcycles. The home was clean and just as described. It’s close enough to every need, but just far enough away to feel mostly isolated. The neighborhood was very quiet and yet welcoming. A great place to get away! 5/5 stars….and Casey was attentive to all correspondences. Would absolutely stay again, if back in the area.

We Came Back For Seconds

This is our second time staying here at Casey's place. The layout of the home is ideal for 2 or 3 couples. The home is charming. The beds are very comfortable. I love it. The street is a dead end and perfect for a morning walk. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The view of the lake is spectacular. We saw blue heron, my favorite. The house is close to everything you could possibly want. The time spent with my family was enhanced by staying here. Thanks Casey

Don't bring your boat! No room!

It was a nice secluded home tucked away on a small back road.had a good stay not with issues. No hot water in the kitchen!the grill was rusted out.inop!! Dangerous in fact.the trash cans were full.the toilet in the main bathroom was very loose.and we was very fortunate to get in and out of the small steep driveway.

Hi Phillip, I wish you would have let me know any of this during your stay. I could have addressed issues if I knew any of them. There is hot water, you have make sure you have the faucet in the correct direction. The driveway is steep, but there’s a circle drive and extra parking pad. We bring our 24ft without issue. I’ll have my cleaners/maintence specifically check the grill and master toilet. The cans might be full depending on your stay, pickup is Friday. Again, I’m sorry to read about your issues. Please reach out to your host in the future, we want you to love our home as much as we do!

Great home

The home was very comfortable and clean. Everything was so convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. The appliances were clean and in working order. Now about the comment on the train, it is just faint and relaxing. The beds were clean. The neighborhood is quiet. We did not use the spa tub. We did use the gas grill and it was nice. We ate at Sonny’s and Mellow Mushroom Pizza. We had a boat and spent a lot of time on the lake. We drove over Daniel Boone Forest and used the Keno shooting range. There is so much to do nearby.

Double Wow Factor

When we walked in the front door all our jaws dropped as we said wow! It looked like a magazine cover. Then we went to the backyard and the lake view dropped our jaws again. The house was very clean, comfortable and adorable. The beds are very comfortable. The place is well equipped. I walked the lengthy dead end street in front of the house one morning and never saw a person, car or dog. The neighborhood houses are nice and well kept. It is a peaceful, quiet street. In fact, I would love to live here. Somerset has a fabulous highway system and we enjoyed exploring, shopping and eating out. Casey, the host is top notch. I’m coming back in the spring and fall of next year.

Beautiful home

The home is well equipped with all that you need for a family of four or more. The kitchen is well equipped to ensure that you're not washing cups before the next person gets to have coffee plenty of dishes, pots and pans, silverware. Well equipped plenty of toiletries,trash bags, everything that you need so that you're not having to buy or bring extras. Sufficient bedding, pillows, towels, toiletries. Owner is quick to respond. The beds were a little firmer than expected, making that less comfortable for some. The location is wonderful close to many sites and restaurants etc. The back yard is pretty, with a view of the lake/river. If you have small children might be challenging as the drop off to the lake is steep but otherwise it is a beautiful yard and well equipped or bonfires and sitting outside.
