This is a lovely, quiet, peaceful place. The owners are sweethearts and made our stay very enjoyable. It is very clean, has everything you need, even farm fresh eggs! It is perfect for a couples getaway or a family of 3 or 4.

The cabin itself was so cute and cozy. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a wedding. The host was very nice, welcoming and willing to help. The views were beautiful, I would go back again!

Our stay was wonderful, and the hosts were very friendly and kind. They left fresh eggs in the fridge that were delicious and made our breakfast super special. They accomodated us with a very clean, nice gas grill that we used for steaks and chicken dinners. We also had an astrophotography telescope with us, which we used on the night we had clear, dark skies, and we got amazing pictures of the Milky Way, The East and West Veil Nebulas as well as Andromeda and the Apple Core Nebula. Lastly we totally enjoyed sitting in the rockers on the deck watxhing the humminbirds and the beautiful sunsets.

It sounds magical getting to capture the Milky Way and those nebulas under clear, dark skies, and we love that you got to enjoy the rockers on the deck watching hummingbirds and sunsets. My husband and I booked 2 nights for a much needed vacation and left feeling relaxed and rested. Jerri and CD are very accommodating and kind. Their property is a haven away from the stress of every day life in the valley. We definitely would love to come back.

We loved this little cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. CD and Jerri were very friendly and responsive. It is apparent that a lot of time and thought went into setting this place up. It was a beautiful setting and close to town. We would love to come back another time.

Got in some Awesome Hiking.The Grasslands, Poll Knoll in The Pines & The Thompson Trail along The Black River.The Afternoon Rains made everything Clean & Green ! A master class in short term rentals. Best we’ve ever experienced!The communication from the hosts was extraordinary, starting with the impeccable detail in the directions to the rental. It would have been more difficult to find the place without those detailed directions, but with them, it was a breeze.The western motif, fun knickknacks, and homey touches inside and out made for a warm and inviting atmosphere. The hosts thought of everything to make a person feel welcomed … even perfectly placed night lights.The beautiful horses on the property can’t help but make you smile, and the hosts kindly checked in on us from time to time to make sure we were doing OK.Add in a super comfy reclining couch (great for napping), yummy snacks, and farm-fresh eggs in the fridge, this bunkhouse is a must stay if you’re going to the Eager area to explore all the beauty it has to offer.

To say that CD & Jerri are the ultimate hosts isn't giving them total credit for how kind, personable and considerate they are. Their VRBO bunkhouse is the BEST: clean! cozy! great shower! excellent cookware! comfortable sleeping! rocking chairs on the porch! hummingbirds! fresh eggs from the chickens! horses to pet! amazing location with peaceful quiet (great for sleeping)! soft leather reclining couch! board games! location to many incredible sights (lakes, forests, mountains, winter activities if desired)! It is everything for a wonderful and restful get away.We would rate it well above 10 stars for certain!Our trip was most memorable!

If you are looking for a little piece of heaven, this is the place. Located just outside of town, this spot is located in the middle of the most beautiful area, surrounded by trees. And, there are the most adorable horse and pony on the property. We did not see the owners, they left us with privacy, but communicated with them via text. They also left us some fresh eggs in the fridge. Adorable. The shower was great, the kitchen had everything we needed and we were left with a little basket of snacks. I wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars. We have family in the area and will always stay here from now on. So peaceful and perfect.

The property was amazing. We saw deer in the mornings. We also visited with the horses. CD & Jerri were amazing. They were very warm and welcoming. The fresh eggs were delicious. The accommodations were very comfortable & allowed our family to relax on our trip. The nearby White Mountains are beautiful. Plenty of trails to hike, lakes, and high alpine meadows. 10 out of 10. We couldn't recommend this stay more.

Our experience far exceeded our expectations! The location of the property was spectacular especially at sunset and experiencing those sunsets from a rocking chair on a quaint covered deck where we discovered colors that I normally don’t see living in the mountains of Colorado. The hosts (CD and his wife Jerri) live on site but you wouldn’t know it. If you need something which I thought I did only because I couldn’t find it (a cheese grater) I texted Jerri, within a few minutes she brought one over but only after asking if it was okay to do so. The cabin was super clean and I’m pretty particular about cleanliness. Very comfortable bed(s) and just an all around place I would definitely recommend and if I had the need to return to the area for any reason, hands down I would be a very happy return guest. Rest and relaxation and a level of peace and serenity is the goal and that was the reward.

Had a great stay in Eagar. CD and Jerri were wonderful hosts. The retreat was well-equipped and finding a dozen farm fresh eggs in the fridge was a terrific--and they were delicious. I especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the early morning with my coffee. Thank you.
