Family-Friendly Holiday Home with Stunning Sunset Views

Relax and enjoy spectacular sunsets from the elevated deck of this comfortable, family-friendly holiday home. With spacious living areas, a large wrap-around deck, a fully fenced yard and plenty of room for the whole family, it’s also ideal for guests travelling with a dog.

Downstairs features a dedicated children's lounge with board games and electric heating — perfect for keeping the kids entertained on cooler days. There is also a queen bedroom, plus a laundry with washing machine, shower and separate toilet.

Upstairs is the main open-plan living area, combining the kitchen, dining and lounge. The well-equipped kitchen includes electric cooking, microwave and family-size fridge. The comfortable lounge has leather furniture, plasma TV, DVD player and stereo. Large windows provide wonderful sunset views, while reverse-cycle heating and cooling ensures year round comfort.

The spacious master bedroom has a queen size bed, built-in wardrobe and direct access to the deck, which wraps around three sides of the home. The third bedroom is ideal for children, with bunk beds, a single bed and trundle, sleeping 3–4 guests.

The upstairs bathroom includes a full size bath with shower, toilet and vanity.

Outside, enjoy relaxed meals and entertaining on the generous deck, complete with a hooded gas BBQ. For even more space to gather, a covered area downstairs provides an additional entertaining zone, ideal for family get-togethers or casual gatherings. The fully fenced lawn offers plenty of room for children to play while safely containing your dog.

BYO Linen: Bedding is provided, but guests must bring their own sheets and towels.

- Guest Access

You have use of the entire house and yard. Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.


- Neighbourhood

Situated approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and approximately 40 mins to Wilsons Promontory.
The property is located close to the main beach for swimming, surfing and fishing. Waratah Bay Surf Lifesaving Club patrols the beach over summer; they also have a bar, occasional meals and events.
Launch your boat at Shallow Inlet, just a short 5 minute drive. It's famous for wind surfing, kite surfing and fishing.
The Sandy Point General store is the hub for groceries, bait, petrol, gas, bottle shop and an Australia Post outlet.
A small Mini golf course is located next to our office on Beach Parade (seasonal).
Playgrounds, Tennis courts (equipment can be hired from the General Store), Half basketball court & public BBQ areas are located next to the Sandy Point Community Centre.
The Sandy Point Community Centre hosts art festivals, markets & other events over summer.

Sandy Point is a great base for exploring the local region. With Wilsons Promontory a short drive away, you can enjoy a range of short and long hikes that include breath taking beaches, rivers and wildlife encounters.
The historic towns of Fish Creek, Walkerville, Foster, Toora and Meeniyan are an easy drive away, offering outstanding local produce, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and wineries.
Also in easy reach is the historic Cape Liptrap Lighthouse and Walkerville Lime Kilns at the famous Magic Beach, Walkerville South.
The Great Southern Rail Trail (131kms) runs from Nyora to Yarram and can be accessed at Fish Creek, it's ideal for biking or walking.

- Getting Around

Sandy Point is a lovely Village to stroll around, however getting beyond this you will need your own car.


- Other things to note

Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.

Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.
