Casa Los Arcos is the ideal beachfront escape, crafted for relaxation and furnished with all the essentials to fully enjoy the beach lifestyle! Just a few steps away, you'll find the soft sandy shores and the welcoming warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Enjoy the private waterfall pool with swim-up stools; the rooftop palapa, lush grounds and stunning views.
Casa Los Arcos features two single-level units: a main house for six guests and a separate casita for two.
The space:
Casa Los Arcos is a refreshing retreat, ideal for families or small groups of adults. The property can comfortably sleep 8 people - 6 in the main house and 2 in the charming casita. The main house features three bedrooms: oceanfront master bedroom with queen bed and full bath ensuite, second bedroom with queen bed and workstation; and cozy third bedroom with queen bed and garden views. There is a full bathroom with walk-in shower in the main house and another full bathroom with walk-in shower next to the pool. In a separate building, the casita has a double canopy bed, kitchenette, dining area and full bathroom with walk-in shower. To ensure your comfort, all rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, and each bedroom features air conditioning, ceiling fans, and floor fans.
The house comes with all the essentials you need for a pleasant stay. The kitchen has a large fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, juicer, air fryer, dishes & cutlery, utensils & pots/pans. The living room has a flat screen TV, books & games. There is Starlink for fast wifi throughout the main house, casita and pool area. The back patio has an outdoor kitchen, plush sofa & chairs, dining table that seats 8 and ceiling fans to keep you cool. The covered front patio also has comfortable seating and ceiling fan. The poolside bathroom has washer/dryer for your convenience. For beach fun we have provided paddleboards, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, life vests, beach toys and beach towels. The rooftop palapa offers amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico and has a large dining table that seats 8-1o people. The house is highly secure, and you can park inside the gated area.
Guest access
The property is both secure and gated, ensuring your peace of mind. You will have access to the entire house, casita, and grounds. Enjoy the privacy of the pool, patio, and expansive grounds, with wide steps leading down to the beach.
The casita is part of rental package and will never be rented separately to another group while you are staying.
Other things to note:
While a car isn't essential, having one can be a great advantage for exploring nearby attractions such as beautiful beaches, cenotes, and Mayan ruins.
For transportation, you can utilize moto-taxis and collectivos (local minibuses), or you might consider hiring a local guide to uncover more about the surrounding regions.

Hello! We’re Stephanie and Warren from Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada.
Our passion for travel has always led us to seek out sunny, warm destinations during the winter months! While we've enjoyed a few all-inclusive vacations, we realized we needed a different approach when traveling with family. Our first experience with VRBO was in Tulum, Mexico, in 2013, where our group of seven rented a stunning stone house right on the beach. We created unforgettable memories together as a family in our very own private paradise. After that trip, we knew there was no turning back to all-inclusive resorts. Since then, we have planned numerous VRBO getaways with family, friends, and other couples.
After many years of travel, we concluded that having our own slice of paradise would be wonderful, allowing us to bask in the sun a bit longer. In 2022, after thorough exploration, we finally acquired our dream beach home in the quaint fishing village of Chelem, Yucatán, Mexico. Since then, we've been traveling to Mexico and relishing beach life with our family and numerous friends.
In 2025, we thought, why not open Casa Los Arcos, our little slice of paradise, to others who wish to enjoy quality moments with family and friends? We have cherished our home so much; it felt natural to share this experience with others. While we're new to being hosts, we truly love sharing this delightful home, beautiful beach, and wonderful community with everyone!

In recent years Chelem has been transformed into a very hip and cool place to live or spend your vacations. The town has a growing expat community and a mix of local and foreign-owned businesses, particularly restaurants and bars.
Chelem has long stretches of beach where you can swim, sunbath and enjoy activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, jet-skiing, kite surfing and more. To the south of the town there is a large mangrove zone that is a source of great bird watching. Explore the town and experience the local culture through interactions with residents, shopping local markets, and enjoying fresh seafood and local specialties at the many available restaurants.
Chelem is a delightfully tranquil town. However, during Mexican holidays, Semana Santa, and summer weekends, the town comes alive with people enjoying the beach and vibrant celebrations with fireworks.

We absolutely adore the rustic style and inviting atmosphere of our beach house, Casa Los Arcos – which means "the house of arches." The home features stunning orange brick archways that grace many of the rooms, with several doors and windows also designed as arches. An added bonus is that it’s a single-story home, making it perfect for our moms and friends who prefer to avoid stairs.
There are countless elements that set our home apart:

What truly captured our hearts about Casa Los Arcos is its enchanting grounds. Lush trees and plants surround both the front and back yards, bringing life to the space. We have palm trees that illuminate at night, vibrant bougainvillea, agave plants, and a recently added lime tree.
Moreover, we cherish the breathtaking views. You can relax on the wide steps leading down to the beach or climb to the rooftop palapa to soak in the scenery from the lounge area. We’ve even created a delightful dining space under the rooftop palapa, where you can savor stunning sunsets and catch sight of dolphins while you enjoy your meal.
Casa Los Arcos is not about sharp, modern lines; it embodies a spirit of warmth, inviting everyone to feel at home and enjoy.
