The Space:

Tiny in Orchard by Tiny Away is located in Mitchell Park, just a 17-minute drive from Ballarat. What’s more, our farm stay is close to captivating attractions, including Lake Wendouree, the Ballarat Tramway Museum, and the Ballarat Botanical Gardens. Plus, Victoria Park is only two minutes away.



This pet-friendly 139-square-foot tiny home situated on a flat area surrounded by orchards and park trees. It offers easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—ensuring a comfortable stay as you explore more holiday homes.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the tiny home, the front garden, and the orchard, while other areas can be explored under supervision.



The Neighborhood:

Tiny in Orchard by Tiny Away is a charming farm stay in Mitchell Park, just 17 minutes from Ballarat and an hour from Melbourne. Surrounded by farmland and nature, this cosy retreat is close to local cafés, wineries, Mt Beckworth, Mt Cole, the Grampians, and Sovereign Hill, making it a great choice for holiday homes near Ballarat.



Enjoy scenic hikes, explore Ballarat’s gold rush history, or spend a relaxing day walking, cycling, and rowing at Lake Wendouree before exploring the beautiful Ballarat Botanical Gardens.



Getting Around:

By car:



- 17 mins drive from Ballarat

- 1 hr drive from Melbourne

- 24 mins from or to Mount Beckworth

- 1 hr drive from or to Mount Cole (consult land host for details)



All are accesible by 2WD.



By public transportation: The tiny house is just 7.3 kms to Wendouree train station. For more details, please contact land host a day in advance. Thank you.



Other Things to Note:

- Weber BBQ is available

- 1 Pet Allowed with an additional fee of $20

- Mobile phone reception has a good signal

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home, except outdoors

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- We have horses, dogs, and a cat. While the dogs and horses are contained, the cat may occasionally visit the tiny house.

- Pets are allowed with 24 hrs advance notice. Small dogs are welcome but must be leashed to protect onsite livestock. Full pet guidelines will be provided before booking.



Important note:



- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present.  

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
