The location was fantastic particularly if you are arriving by train- close to stations, trams and shopping. The apartment itself was very spacious and well furnished. There were 3 of us staying in 3 good sized bedrooms and also plenty of room for us to all relax comfortably. Need to be clear that the KARMART for key pickup is in little Collin’s st opposite the savoy as google maps does not really pick up location.

This is a spacious and well lit apartment with all the amenities we needed for a week long stay. The beds were comfortable, the master en suite bathroom was huge. We enjoyed cooking a simple meal with fresh ingredients we bought from the South Melbourne Market (which by the way is way better than the Queen Victoria Market). A couple of us had to attend an online lecture, and do some work using conference call, the dining table set up provided a comfortable space and of course WiFi worked very well. The location was great, although not in the center of all the downtown actions, we were only steps away from tram stations that took us everywhere we wanted to go. Needless to say also that the area felt safe, we walked back from town center nightly and never had any problem.The only thing that could have made our stay even better perhaps would have been a bit more provisioning, we ran out of shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, and used the last dishwasher capsule and garbage bag on the last day. It was simple our fault for not requesting more supplies from the property manager (we prioritized other things, and the convenience stores were close by anyway) who were super responsive and would have provided refills in a timely manner

It's great to hear the dining table doubled as a productive workspace for your calls and lectures, and that the WiFi kept up with you. And yes — South Melbourne Market is a local favourite, glad you got to explore it! We really appreciate you flagging the amenities — our toiletries and supplies are provided as a starter pack for guests, so top-ups aren't automatically included, but We'll keep this in mind for future guests too!

The unit was clean and spacious but it took us over an hour to access it. The deadbolt of the first door was completely jammed. 4 adults attempted to unlock the door unsuccessfully. I also could not call the lift to the 12th floor. This left me in a panic as we were stuck on the 12th floor with multiple pieces of luggage and unable to access the room or get down 12 flights of stairs.  I emailed multiple times requesting a call and help and was told no one could call my international number. I had to use the emergency stairs to exit and find a local business willing to let me use a local phone to call the host. I then suggested WhatsApp which successfully connected us via to text. During the course of the hour, I was asked to send multiple pictures/videos of the keys and lifts not working? Finally, after well over an hour of communication, I was notified of a second door in another hall to enter the apartment. The key worked fine on that second door. Once inside the room, we were able to unlock the first door from the inside and confirm the key works, but the lock jams and it is impossible to unlock consistently from the outside. We were also never able to get the elevator to work properly to get down and had to use the emergency stairs to catch the lift from the 11th floor each time to exit. No apologies, no compensations, and no response from the management company was received for this major inconvenience. I cannot recommend given poor and inaccessible communication.
