Blue Birds Beach House, comfortable beach readaway with a heated pool

Blue Birds Beach House is a large beachfront Villa with gated entrance offering 70 feet of secluded and quiet beach waterfront. One of the last few natural sandy beaches in New Providence, Bahamas.

Enjoy the beautiful scenic views from the second-floor balcony of the ocean and colorful sunsets. The fenced back yard opens directly onto the sandy beach, the shallow and normally calm waters are great for children, snorkeling and kayaking.

Once you're done at the beach enjoy the outdoor heated pool and pool side bar or bbq. End the day with a game of billiards or reading a book on the balcony while watching the sunset over the beach.

This two-story house with 6 bedrooms can accommodate up to 10-12 guests. With four bedrooms upstairs, 2 with ensuite bathrooms which also open up to the balcony in the back and two with a shared full bathroom. The downstairs has an additional room with murphy bed, another bathroom game room, spacious living room and full kitchen. Laundry with washer and dryer are also available on the main floor.

This house offers all the amenities required to experience a real beach getaway vacation. Grab a book and read at the beach or on our balcony. Take a moment to enjoy the sunset. Or choose from our large selection of movies, games and puzzles. Here you are sure to find what you need to unwind and relax.

Please note: daytime construction may occur nearby as new homes are being built.

This is truly a beautiful property in a very beautiful area. We really enjoyed snorkeling off the rocky point a short walk down the beach many times, kayaking in the calm waters, and we lived in the pool! We explored the island a bit, but our family of 7 loved being at and enjoying this beautiful place so much that no-one really wanted to leave in the 11 days that we had the opportunity to be there! This home has everything that you need to cook any type of dining and enjoy it in a beautiful beach setting! Robbie and Rosalie, wonderful hosts, recommended finding Omar The Fisherman for fresh fish ...we enjoyed several meals, grouper , snapper, & lobster with fish from Omar! We all highly recommend this property in paradise!!

The house was very comfortable and spacious for our group of 10. Wonderful access to the beach and the pool was a great amenity as well. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of beach towels/linens available. There were a couple of island-wide power outages during our visit but we didn’t notice them at all as the generator kicked in without any interruption. Easy and prompt communication with the hosts when necessary. It was a fantastic stay!

I cannot say enough good things about this home and the hosts! We are a multigenerational family of 12, and we ALL loved this property! The kitchen is well equipped, we were able to cook full meals for 12 without issue. The house is stocked with pool toys, floaties, noodles and plenty of extra beach towels. We used them every day in the pool and ocean. The pool is large and accommodating for all of us to hang out and relax. (And it has a heater, but we didn’t need that in August!). The beach/ocean is literally in the back yard. The view is stunning! The covered patio, outdoor dining table and chairs as well as several outdoor couches made for plenty of room to enjoy the space. Fun amenities like games, some free weight dumbbells, and movies and popcorn made it really feel like “home”. Every bedroom is well appointed and has its own AC controls. There are a variety of grocery stores within 5-20 minutes of the house. We did several excursions in downtown Nassau and the drive was approximately 30-40 minutes one way, but the joy of returning to our quiet, neighborhood home was so lovely! Plenty of local restaurants nearby. The hosts had great recommendations and their binder of information for the area was spot on. From planning questions to the final checkout, the hosts were communicative and top tier. Would absolutely, 100%, recommend this rental!

The view is amazing. The house had lots of room. The beach was private, barely saw anyone walk by all week! Water is beautiful. Pool was a hit with the kids!

Amazing beach house! It was the perfect set up for our group of 6 adults and 1 kid. The location was safe and quiet, amenities/features galore, well-equipped kitchen, large balcony, covered outdoor patio & furniture, beautiful beach, great pool, etc. We had plenty of space to hang out everywhere! Loved the tiki bar, outdoor bathroom, and coconuts from the trees.

We loved our stay at the Blue Birds Beach House! We loved it so much we hardly left the property! The hosts have thought of everything and we appreciated all the little details! There were kayaks for exploring and pool floaties to use at the pool. Beach chairs and umbrellas if you venture off site are so nice to have. There are games, puzzles, movies galore, billiards, videogames and darts. Our family of 8 and a toddler were never bored and loved just relaxing and enjoying everything the villa had to offer! We did bring in groceries and usually ate at the villa as most restaurants are a bit of a drive away and we hated to miss sunset at the villa! Dont miss out on this opportunity to stay at a beautiful villa with the quietest beach on the island! You wont regret it!!

Our party of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Bird Beach house. The location is fantastic - pool and beach side, what more could you ask for! We basically had the entire beach to ourselves most days as well! The south side of the island is definitely the sunny side of the island! Robbie was fantastic to deal with - always checking in with us and quick to respond if we needed anything. There is plenty of space and kitchen is well stocked with everything you should need! The only thing that we noticed is the hot water would run out quite quickly after 2 showers and then resulting no hot water for dishes. As well the dishwasher wasn’t the greatest but these are minor things! Overall I would highly recommend this house! Do not hesitate.

Our hosts were awesome! They responded immediately when we had a question. Very helpful. The house was so well equipped, especially the kitchen. The patio had plenty of seating. Very nice. We appreciated all the pool floaties. We could have used one more hair dryer and deep pocket sheets on the beds. Thank you for a great vacation!!

Beautiful beach getaway

We went to the Bahamas with our best friends to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and our 20 th wedding anniversary. The Blue Birds Beach House was the perfect place. Plenty of space for all of us and the house had tons of extras and a beautiful view of the beach. The owners were very responsive and we had a great time.

The Blue Bird Beach House was everything we expected and more!!!! We didn't lack for anything. The amenities were great! We could talk about how the house is fully stocked with everything you need but you can read that in all the other reviews. What we can tell you is that from the moment you wake up in the morning until you lay your head down at night you are in paradise. The calm quiet beach, the view and sound of the ocean, the pool, the outdoor bar, the privacy of the beach... we could go on and on. It was perfect!!! We brought our three adult children and their significant others for a family vacation and it didn't disappoint. Rosalie and Robbie are incredible hosts. Very responsive. They truly want you to feel at home and enjoy your vacation. We rented a mini van so we could explore the island if we wanted to, but every time we left the beach house we couldn't wait to return!!! We used the grocery service so that we would have food and drinks upon arrival, but we ventured to the food and liquor stores as needed. The time spent with our children and the memories made are exactly why we chose Blue Bird Beach House. You won't be disappointed!!

Spring Break Getaway

This property is gorgeous! The view is to die for and the home is absolutely perfect! So many options and plenty of room to spread out. The host was very kind and incredibly responsive. We will stay here again someday!

Amazing Home away from Home

From the booking, Robbie was super responsive and so helpful with information and recommendations. I can’t say enough good things about the property - the condition, how well equipped it is, the space, the views, the game room and movie collection - all top notch. Fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Bluebird house for our multi-generational annual holiday. Everything was perfect. Robbie was very attentive to our needs and was very helpful in showing us where to visit on the island, where to shop and providing us with contacts for catering (Perry Sweeting). Pool and ocean views were spectacular. Very relaxing family time. Everyone of all ages enjoyed our stay!

Our group of lifelong friends got together for a long weekend at this house was perfect for us! The bedrooms had enough space for everyone, the pool was great, and it was steps from the ocean. I only gave it 4 stars for the neighborhood because it is pretty far from any of the tourist centers, but for many that may be a plus. Would definitely come back again.

Blue Beach House

Our extended family had an amazing and very relaxing week at Rosalie and Robbie’s place on the beach. They were both extremely responsive to any questions and very helpful suggesting grocery shoppers to stock the kitchen for our arrival and drivers to get us to and from the airport. There were 8 of us including a 3 yr old. The house layout was perfect for us. Everyone loved the pool and being so close to the beach. You could easily walk 3 or so km on the beach and there’s a beach bar about .5 km along you can hit for a drink and snack. We all had a great time, would return and recommend! Thanks!
