Cottage on the farm with Poitou donkeys, Goats...

Are you looking to recharge in the peaceful countryside? Do you love animals—especially donkeys and goats? We’d be delighted to welcome you to our cottage for 4 people. There are no other cottages on the farm grounds, and you won’t have to share any space with other guests—you’ll have the place all to yourselves!

Our cottage, with no neighbors directly across the way, is located in the heart of Poitou in the small, bucolic village of Crézières (population 40), which is part of the municipality of Chef-Boutonne.

The cottage, built of stone with exposed beams, features
two bedrooms—one of which is on a mezzanine—
a fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, refrigerator-freezer, gas stove...) with direct access to the garden terrace
a living/dining room (TV, stereo, high chair...), an entryway, a bathroom, a garden,
a terrace with patio furniture (grill, lounge chairs...)
a parking space right outside the cottage.
The beds are made upon your arrival.
You’ll have free access to the farm to visit our Poitou goats, our 13 Poitou donkeys, and even feed them carrots… you can help with their care…
Bicycles for adults and children are available, including two equipped with child seats.
Wired internet access (please bring your own computer)
Pets are welcome for a small additional fee of €3 per pet per night (limited availability—please contact us)
Shops, doctors, etc.... are located 5 km from the cottage
You’ll find numerous trails right near the cottage for walks in the countryside,
the Château de Javarzay and the municipal swimming pool, as well as a fishing pond in (Chef Boutonne) 5 km
a body of water with supervised swimming 15 km away
the silver mines, the Saint-Hilaire Church (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) in Melle, 20 minutes away
the Zoodyssée, 20 minutes away
La Rochelle, Angoulême, the Marais Poitevin about an hour away
Futuroscope about an hour and a half away....
