Top-floor unit in Decatur House. Direct ocean front unit with miles of unobstructed ocean/beach views. Sleeps up to 4 guests (3 adults max), with two full-size beds in bedroom, and queen-size sleeper sofa in living room. There is a full kitchen with oven/range, dishwasher & microwave. There is also a stack washer & dryer for your laundry needs.

5th-floor elevation. Close enough for people-watching, yet far enough above for private, peaceful enjoyment of your view. And what a view it is! The beach, the boats & the boardwalk...all for your enjoyment!

Building has an indoor pool. ***NOTE: POOL IS OPEN MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND THRU SEPTEMBER ONLY. POOL IS NOT HEATED***. Reserved parking space close to building and elevator. Just park your car for the week and go! Everything is within a short walk.

The building has storefronts on the first floor, including pizza, sundries and a Subway. There are multiple restaurants, shopping & nightlife options within 3 blocks of the building.

great location and very responsive host. Instructions were easy and parking was very close. Place could use a bit of updating in bathroom and the couch and beds are noisy.

Perfect location on the boardwalk midway between both ends. Easy convenient parking right next to the building. Well stocked kitchen and extra blankets available. Everything was in working order and the view was beautiful - didn't even matter if it was raining

Great location!

This was the perfect location for our family to spend a couple days. The host was so helpful and made check in and out a breeze!!! We had a wonderful time.

Great mini-vaca!

The condo was perfect for what we needed and Gary was a great host! Communication was excellent! Can’t beat the view or location!

We had an amazing time. The property owner was very friendly and helpful. Also gave us a bunch of ideas for activities to do during our stay. We highly recommend the stay!

Our stay at the condo was made easy by the extras that are usually overlooked by many for instance the beach toys and chairs and the games for rainy days were all made accessible to us. Very clean and well kept with an amazing view and excellent communication with the owner. Looking forward to future stays.

Great Place!!!

We had a great time and stay. So much to do and the food at the restaurants was fabulous. The only thing we didn't like was the cold indoor pool. It would have been great to use the pool if it was heated.

Thank you for your stay & glad you enjoyed some of the many activities in our location. Unfortunately , the pool is out of our control. It is not heated, because the building has no on-site management to monitor a gas pool heater. The pool is there for rainy days during the summer months. This guest rented our place 2 weeks after Labor Day. I was available to answer any questions the guest may have had, prior to booking my place.

Great location, no pictures of the bathroom which needs to be updated. Bathroom is very dated.

We thank this guest for their stay, and are glad that they enjoyed the location. Regarding the bathroom, we never advertised it as being new or updated. This guest had ample opportunity to ask any questions prior to booking. Had she done so, we would have been up-front with her, in disclosing that the bathroom is small & mostly original, yet fully functional, with no operational issues. Our goal is to provide reasonable accommodations, in a great location, at significantly better price points than the ocean front hotel rooms in Ocean City. If you compare prices, you will see for yourself. Most of the ocean front hotel rooms with updated bathrooms are twice the price.

Great Stay. Great View.

Great Property. The unit is slightly dated but everything is very well kept and clean. The owner was very responsive to any questions or concerns. Location is great with plenty of things close by. We will look to rent this again in the future.

My best friend came out from Kentucky to spend the holiday weekend. Neither of us had been to OC in YEARS. The weather was perfect. The home was in a PERFECT location! Great to be able to walk right out to the boardwalk and the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful experience with Vrbo as it was my first try. The owner was very responsive with any questions and information that I need. The condo size was great and the view was spectacular!!! I will definitely try to stay with Gary again 👍

Conveniently located

The property was on the boardwalk with ocean views and a lot of food choices to choose from. The only negative about the property was the mattress on the sleeper sofa was like sleeping on springs. I know sleeper sofas are not typically comfortable anyway but would have been nice to have a foam topperhavfoam topper

Thank you for your stay. Per the listing, the sleep sofa in the living room is a standard unit. It does not have a pillow topper, nor did I advertise it as having one. The bed would not retract into the sofa if anything was on the mattress. If you anticipated using the sleep sofa, you were more than welcome to bring your own pillow topper. There were only 2 adults listed on your reservation, and there are 2 beds in the bedroom. And I guess no consideration for allowing you to check-in several hours early, ahead of a busy concert weekend. But thanks again.

Right where we needed to be

We chose this place because we had music fest tickets. We were able to walk down to the music festival and come back easily. We parked the car and walked to every place we needed to go to. The owner was extremely helpful and available for us and communicated with us prior to our arrival. The condo was a good size for the two of us. We could hear the ocean clearly and the boardwalk noise was very low. I will be looking to book at some point next year.

Stay & view

Very peaceful and the view was great. There isn’t an easy access for handicap people. The stairs into the place are really high. Other guests made the same comment about the steps into the condo building. The pool was closed for the fall season. That was okay. Otherwise we had a nice stay.

Thank you for your stay and we are glad you enjoyed our ocean front view. With the building built in the 1970s, it is not exactly ADA-friendly. I agree that the building access rear steps are steep & high. Unfortunately, with the alley being so close to the back of the building, the steps had to be built that way. However, the boardwalk access ramp on the right-hand side of the building is a stair-free, ADA-compliant option that brings guests to the main level of the building, where they can then access the elevator. Thank you again & we look forward to having you back.

I'm sorry you feel this way about our place. However, we don't advertise it as large or updated. The photos and property description are accurate. We regularly host families of 4 who rent our place every summer. Perhaps you should look, and pay for something larger on your next visit to Ocean City.

nice location

once i was in i was ok. not sure how everything worked on getting in place. it was our first time with using vrbo. it went ok. i just made call and everything was good. pool was not open and this is why i booked with them. it was dirty in pool and not open. elevator got stuck on third floor for a time. only regular electric outlets no where to charge phone like lamp. we took our own outlets but be careful. over all not bad but could be better.

Thank you for your stay. Per my listing, I clearly state that the indoor pool is only open Memorial Day thru September. Not sure what this guest meant by "bringing his own outlets"....chargers maybe? But there are at least 8 grounded, fully functional outlets in my condo. I provided him (and every guest) a welcome letter with plenty of detail. I also called this guest several times prior to check-in. My messages were not returned, nor did he call me with any questions before or during his stay.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The property was in close proximity to everything. We rarely had to drive besides going to the supermarket to pick up some breakfast items and water. The patio was great to sit and relax after a long day at the beach which is only steps away. Wonderful place, we will be returning again.

Overall positive experience

The location was great!!! Property is very dated and needed a deep cleaning. However, the owner was great and personable. If this had some updates, I’d definitely stay here again!!

I was born & raised in Pennsylvania, and live with my wife & 3 kids just north of Philadelphia, in Bucks County. My family has been vacationing in Ocean City for decades, so it was a natural fit for me to buy & manage rental properties here, which I have done for 15 years.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

It is truly in Ocean City's best area. The boardwalk area has always provided the most activities, dining & entertainment options in all of Ocean City. And this part of the boardwalk is ideal for staying, because it sits in the sweet spot - away from the crazy inlet area, with it's amusement piers & attractions for kids. It's also away from the quiet northern end, which is mostly residential in nature. Guests really have the best of everything at 12th Street - the beach, the boardwalk & plenty of places for the whole family within an easy walk.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

The ocean front location is definitely a stand-out. But being situated on the boardwalk, makeS my condo REALLY stand out! Guests can walk along the beach, without getting sand in your shoes.

In most other ocean front condos in Ocean City, you have to get in your car, or hop on the bus to get to restaurants or activities. Not the case here. Everything is an easy walk. There is no need to drive once you get here. It's truly Park & Go!
