Laurel Cove-Charming family home close to town and Highlands Country Club

Laurel Cove is an inviting and comfortable home with space and entertainment for the whole family and designer touches throughout! A major renovation to the kitchen and living room was completed in May 2022 with top of the line appliances. The main level has a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, large family room with vaulted ceiling and fireplace, guest room (queen bed) and bathroom (tub/shower), and master bedroom (king bed) and bathroom (double shower-handicap accessible). The upper level has an extra large guest room (2 queen beds), desk, walk-in closet (with pack-n-play), and bathroom (tub/shower). The newly renovated lower level features a large entertainment room, 6 built-in bunk beds (twin), full bathroom (shower), and laundry room. The lower level walks out into the front yard. Each room comes equipped with a smart television. Custom-installed WIFI system provides the best internet service on the mountain and allows you to stream from multiple devices. The front porch rocking chairs are the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and the back patio comes with a gas grill and large dining for family dinners. The property is truly a gardener’s delight… sprinkled with various breeds of hydrangeas and roses for blooms all summer long. The house has a turnaround driveway and extra parking pad (gravel) as well as a single covered parking space.
Laurel Cove is conveniently located just off a major road only 1.5 miles from Main Street and very close to Highlands Country Club. Downtown shopping and dining as well as the major grocery store is less than a five minute drive. Year-round access is convenient and easy!

We had the best stay! Tori’s home is beautiful! It was a perfect place for 4 adults and 3 children! We enjoyed the location of the home it was super convenient. If you are looking to stay in Highlands, I highly recommend this home!

Another great stay!

This beautiful home makes the perfect getaway for our family. We loved our mornings spent by the fire and checking on the fairy house and afternoons spent in the Adirondack chairs while the kids played in the front yard. We’re already looking forward to returning next fall!

Perfect getaway!

We had 7 adults for my mom’s birthday and it was PERFECT! Gorgeous home and so close to the main areas in Highlands. We had a private chef create a fantastic meal in the gorgeous kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Highlands Mountain Home

WHAT A GEM!!!! This home is decorated beautifully yet very comfortable and cozy. We loved our time here. So much space for the whole family. Our kids loved the basement and the hot tub. It’s very convenient to town as well as hikes and waterfalls. We played games and did puzzles by the fire. We felt right at home and hope to be back soon.

The PERFECT mountain escape!

This is our second time (and won't be our last!) staying at this beautiful home! It is the perfect mix of mountain escape - peaceful, quiet, cozy - and also close to town- dining, drinks, and parks! We loved hiking and visiting Cashiers, which is just a short drive away. The home is perfectly appointed with a beautiful kitchen and furnishings. The kids loved cozying up by the fire playing board games and the bunk room! There is ample space for extended family and a dreamy yard for football, corn hole, tumbling, and more! We highly recommend and will be back SOON!!

The most charming getaway!

As if the Highlands could get any better, you stumble upon this gem of a home! Perfectly appointed furnishings make it feel absolutely like home in the middle of the mountains! My children love the bunk beds and the adults in our family could have game watching and adult conversation separate from the children! A hop skip and a jump up to the highlands downtown! Our third visit, it certainly won’t be our last!!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful abode!

Beautiful, idyllic mountain home

Our family rented this beautiful mountain home last week, and from the moment we arrived, it exuded warmth, love and class. Upon driving up, the soft blue shutters, gorgeous green lawn filled with white hydrangeas and heavenly white front porch welcomed us with open arms. Our children immediately raced to claim their beds in the adorable bunk room downstairs, adorned with traditional quilts and brass reading lights. Each of the bedrooms on the main and upper levels are decorated exquisitely, yet very comfortably. We especially loved how there were spaces for our family to be together, but also ample room for everyone to retreat and refresh in their own rooms. The property manager couldn't have been lovelier or more helpful. She wanted every detail to be perfect for us! Highly recommend this gorgeous home & it’s proximity to our favorite town of Highlands.

Beyond fabulous!!!!

We frequent Highlands and Cashiers several times a year. My husband and I along with our two tweens had an amazing stay at Laurel Cove! From the hot tub, to the lifesize jenga competitions, my kids didn’t want to leave the backyard hammock! We had a ball doing the puzzles! Who knew disconnecting from devices to be one with nature and spending quality family time together would be so rewarding for all of us. There are plenty of TV’s with streaming if you need to feel like you’re back in reality and not living in mountain heaven. We couldn’ have asked for more! As my daughter wrote our review in the guest book, we even had an exciting encounter with bunnies! Location is absolutely perfect. 5 minutes from town, grocery and everything else you need albeit we didn’t want to leave 😁. We stayed a week over the 4th of July and were able to pop over to town for the fireworks and festivities with ease. We will be back! Thank you, Tori! Perfect hostess!

Perfect family getaway!

We had the best weekend staying in Tori’s beautiful home. The bunk beds were perfect for the kids and the fireplace in the living room is dreamy! The house is an ideal distance from downtown and just down the road from the grocery. Tori could haven’t been more helpful! We look forward to returning!

I will be back!

My family spent three nights celebrating our mother’s birthday and we wish we had booked a full week! The house could not be more charming or comfortable, with every amenity. There is so much to do in this area! The house is in a perfect location as well. You’re 5 minutes from everything, but we just kept finding our way back to that front porch! We all want to go back. Thank you!!!

Perfect Highlands Rental

This house is gorgeous! It was beautifully decorated and set up. There were tons of place to sleep, the kitchen and living space were nice and open, and the basement was the perfect hang out space. The location was a very quick drive to town. I had a question and the owner instantly texted me back. She was extremely helpful and kind. We hope to stay here every time we’re in Highlands.

Great Highlands house

We stayed at the property for the week of New Years. We were 10 people and the property was perfect for us. Plenty of room, clean and well kept. The location was perfect. We were a 5 minute drive to Main Street highlands to enjoy all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this property if you are considering staying in Highlands. Tori, the owner, was easily accessible and answered all of our questions promptly. Downstairs room with all the bunk beds was awesome for the kids.
