It was a good place to stay for our time in Jasper National Park! If we had more time to spend at the property itself, we definitely would’ve utilized the theater more. Only downside to our stay was that power to the entire town of Hinton went out one night. Obviously not the hosts fault, but still a bit of a bummer. Not too bad though, we got by using flashlights just fine. And the host left us a candle and lighter as well which was very sweet of them. The day after the power outage they asked if it was okay for an electrician to come inspect the breakers which were in the VRBO unit. We didn’t love the idea of a stranger entering our unit, but I assume it was related to the power outage from the day before so also not a super big deal, and they did ask us if it was okay ahead of time which was nice. I imagine if there hadn’t been the power outage, the stay would have been perfect! Also one of the people I was with accidentally left a pair of pants and a belt behind, and the host is being very cooperative in working with me to get them shipped back to the US. We are very thankful for that, the host seems very friendly and considerate.
