It was a quaint and quiet little cabin, I didn't get to stay long enough to take advantage of the area, but it was a good stopover for me to get from one place to another. Great communication from the host and I had no issues! Would be more fun to visit when its warmer though!! :D

Nice location, convenient to many seacoast activities. Woodsy but close to shopping. Beautiful screened porch, outhouse was clean. Nice kitchen set up. We found futon couch not really comfortable for sleeping. Bring bug spray and rechargeable fan in warm weather. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to a return visit.

Cabin itself was beautiful and clean. Secluded and quiet .prepare yourself for roughing it.no running water but jugs and coolers are provided.this is a roughing type atmosphere just like back in the old days which is great.makes you want to go out and get fresh air and bond with nature. Instead of sitting inside watching tv or being on your phone.more people should experience the old ways of family bonding. Great place to stay would recommend to anyone.

Great time!

Check in was easy, and the cabin was super charming, was clean and well stocked, and convenient to lots of scenic locations.

Maine Getaway

Nice quiet getaway to visit Maine. Everything is just as pictured - well maintained, great views of wildlife and not far from many things to see and do!

Perfect cozy off grid cabin

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. Stayed toasted warm with the wood stove. Great location. Hosts were helpful and responsive.

beautiful weekend away

I stayed here with 3 friends for my birthday weekend and it was perfect. So nice to be unplugged in the midcoast and close to some of my favorite places like Beth’s farm in Warren and Damariscotta Lake. I would stay here again!

Absolutely stunning cabin, beautifully equipped with necessities. Quiet and peaceful, short drive to amenities and local sights. Enjoyed all of the quirks of this cabin, the attention to detail, and the coziness of it. 10/10 would stay here again!

Beautiful and peaceful stay

This is a wonderful way to experience some of the fun of camping, but having all the amenities of a cabin/glamping type of experience. The cabin was very nice and spacious, clean, and had all the kitchen necessities we could want. The cabin location is quiet, private, and set in a beautiful woods environment. We had easy access to the Damariscotta town area and would happily stay again on a next visit.

Wonderful Stay

The cabin was absolutely wonderful. It was a great "home-base" for my husband and I. We slept great. I really enjoyed using the kerosene lamps and the woodburning stove. I would absolutely recommend it.

Family reunion

This is a sweet and comfortable cabin. Very clean and homey. Felt roomy for four. Enjoyed the surroundings and being tucked away from it all. Host Barbara was friendly, communicative, easy to work with, and very accommodating. We highly recommend!

Off Grid and Amazing!

Thank you so much, my kids have never truly experienced off grid and it was great! The cabin was beautiful, quant and quiet. I would absolutely do this again, and have shared this with everyone!

Really cute breezy cabin!

I stayed with my two kids, ages 10 and 12. We loved it! Everything you need for an off-grid stay. Plenty of room, gorgeous scenery, we spent mornings eating breakfast on the screened in porch and nights reading by the light of the oil lamps. Camp stove was perfect for quick meals and morning coffee. Can’t wait to stay again someday!

Peaceful cabin under the stars

This is a super lovely cabin owned by an artist couple, and it shows. The cabin is appropriately spare, but also really warm and beautiful. Even the outhouse is quite nice, and everything was absolutely clean and spotless. I would definitely stay here again for longer, but come prepared with dry ice for the cooler and a few of my own lanterns. Dark enough for great stargazing, but still in proximity to great food and activities.

We had a wonderful stay My only complaint was the drive way road, it was very rough on our small car. We scraped the underside a couple times trying to avoid the bumps. We would come again
