Our team—on behalf of our homeowners—make every effort to present our properties accurately and transparently. We purposely choose to show the precise locations for the homes that we manage on the Vrbo map, allowing guests to explore the area before booking. Additionally, the street-side view from the porch is featured prominently in the listing photos, which clearly shows the nearby town facilities, including the water treatment building and public services. To further ensure clarity, we’ve recently added a special note to the written description to reiterate the home’s unique location. It’s disappointing that we were not made aware of your concerns during your stay, as we would have gladly explored options to improve your visit had we been contacted at the time. Your feedback came over two weeks after departure, which limited our ability to respond in the moment. That said, we still took your concerns seriously. After our conversation, we reached out to the property owners, who graciously agreed to offer compensation as a gesture of goodwill—even though the location and its surroundings are clearly disclosed and your signed Guest License Agreement outlines that refunds are not typically provided in such cases. Corner Pocket has been a guest favorite for many years, appreciated for its charm, convenience, and comfort. We regret that it did not offer the experience you were hoping for and hope future travelers will review the listing closely to ensure the location fits their preferences.
