​​​​​​​Real estate in Lake Tahoe's Montgomery Estates is consistently one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in all of South Lake Tahoe for many reasons. Located within the middle section of Pioneer Trail, there is easy access for people coming from the Bay Area over Hwy 50, just off Pioneer Trail. Heavenly Vista is approximately four miles to the Heavenly Mountain skiing resort from door to door. The Montgomery Estates neighborhood is primarily local and second home residents, as well as many vacation renters due to the differing rental permit regulations. While Montgomery Estates is technically located in El Dorado County, it's right on the edge of the city limits so you're located in the middle of all the action, but can also enjoy a private forested setting.
