No detail of this year round Bone Lake retreat has been overlooked. 2023 and 2025 game room addition with new patios on the way. 23' remodel includes new Andersen windows and doors throughout, barn wood millwork and high end finishes. Gorgeous floor to ceiling windows and doors with vaulted knotty pine ceiling in the open floor plan living area. Leathered granite countertops, hickory cabinetry, barn wood millwork and doors, Bosch appliances, beds and furniture with luxurious linens and bedding, en-suite master bath with soaking tub and heated floor. This west facing, handicap accessible home sits on nearly one acre with main level living has a field stone wood burning fireplace, 65" smart TV with sound bar, and a fully loaded kitchen with all the amenities for you to prepare meals. Enjoy sunsets and nature while looking out at the peaceful north-bay of Bone Lake.

Known for both fantastic fishing and recreation this level-lake front property has it all. Close to ATV, Snowmobile, Ski Resorts, Golfing, Vineyard, Breweries and Hiking and Biking Trails to enjoy this lake home year-round. Fiber optic internet. Firewood, kindling, and firestarters are provided for indoors and out.

This lake home was amazing! So clean and cozy and very well taken care of. They really go above and beyond to supply everything you might need & more! We rented a pontoon from someone the owners suggested and it worked out perfectly! Nice lake & swimming too! Beautiful!

Great Bone Lake Escape

We spent a long weekend with friends and their infant son at the Bone Lake Escape. The cabin is beautiful and has all the amenities. We highly recommend staying here!

Quiet and spacious

Perfect size for our family to stay. Kitchen had everything we might need. Comfy beds and cozy towels. Highly recommend.

A Every detail was thought of at this beautiful lake escape! Our family had an amazing time here. The kitchen it high-end and has everything you'd possibly need. All the beds and pillows were so comfortable! The outdoor areas were very well kept. Our son really enjoyed all the lawn games that were in the toy shed. The owners are wonderful with communication and the pontoon referral worked out perfectly! We will be back again:)

Girls Weekend

We had a great time and the house was beautiful and offered everything we needed and more. The only thing we would have liked is a better spot for swimming off dock

Great spring break

The property is exactly as it looks in the pictures, if not better. The house was incredibly stocked and very kid friendly. Bed were comfortable and towels were soft and fluffy. Owners were very responsive. We hiked one afternoon at Straight Lake State Park (only a few miles away) and had a lovely time.

Absolutely Perfect!

The house & location are fantastic! It was more than enough for our family of 4 to spread out, & the huge, flat backyard was great. The lake is ideal for all the fun: fishing, tubing, sand bars & a restaurant. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! It had everything!

Beautiful Place!

This is a beautiful property. It is located in a lovely tranquil setting. We loved watching all the birds and wild life. The place was clean, well stocked and cozy! We had a great time! Communication was great. We couldn't have wanted more. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place!

Lovely home / great long weekend winter getaway

Comfy beds & pillows; nice sheets, towels & bathroom supplies. Well stocked kitchen. Great big tv to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday. Absolutely no issues! Thanks for a wonderful stay, Laura and Jason - you have a beautiful place!

A Carefree Week

The home, yard, amenities, everything could not have been better! The home was beautiful, with thoughtful touches to ensure a comfortable stay. The back yard was a great place to play or sit by the fire. The beautiful lake and surrounding area provided lots to do. Laura and Jason are wonderful hosts.

Immaculate Clean Thoughtful

This property was really nice. The owners were quite responsive and the house was so clean you could smell it when you walked in. They really did think of everything. If you truly want to get away and unplug, this property is for you.

Great Getaway

The property was gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, by the fire pit and on the dock overlooking the lake-very peaceful.The home was beautiful, well kept up, and well-stocked with what we needed for our stay. Loved the structure and decor. There were four of us there, siblings spending time together to honor the memory of our mom who passed almost 10 years ago. Lots of laughs, a few tears, and some great discussions.We all agreed that it was a home we could see ourselves coming back to .

Perfect Escape!

We had such a lovely time at Bone Lake Escape! The house was completely immaculate and well suited for a couple or small group. Plus, such a bonus that we could bring our dog. We spent our days exploring the many close-by hiking trails and enjoyed lakeside bonfires in the evening. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies and the bed and bath linens and toiletries made us feel like we were at a five-star hotel. We will be back for sure!

Incredible home! Laura & Jason were the BEST hosts I have ever rented from. They were responsive and quick to questions and provided the most amenities I have ever seen. Everything from outdoor toys to a stocked kitchen with spices, condiments, coffee & tea, and smores fixings. The bathrooms were stocked with prime essentials for hair and skin and the beds were super comfortable. The pictures don't do the house justice. It was a gorgeous home and the yard is even prettier than the photos. The lake was fun. We saw tons of wildlife, including a family of swans and eagles galore. Loved the ice cream boat too!

Family togetherness and fishing

Four of us stayed at “Bone Lake Escape” for 4 nights; my husband and I along with his sister and her husband. The home is lovely with absolutely everything we needed to be immediately comfortable. We cooked every meal except one in the well supplied kitchen. Appliances are all like new and latest models. Beds are cozy and comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. The living area has plenty of great seating to encourage long conversations. The dock is perfect for our fishing boat and the boat dock is less than a mile away which was very convenient. The back yard is huge and beautifully maintained. It is a great place to stay; we will be back!

Beautiful vacation home!!

What a great vacation rental! The owners, Laura and Jason thought of everything. High end linens and well stocked with toiletries. Kitchen was well stocked as well. So many thoughtful extras. The welcome sign, s’mores, wine and cheese where such a great touch. Laura and Jason where very easy to get a hold of and very responsive. We took advantage of the fire pit, hammock and kayaks. A great stay!

This place is beautiful. It had been remodeled and it was so very tastefully decorated, with top end appliances, no clutter, and had everything one would need. The beds were wonderful, sooo very comfortable, something you don't always find in a rental. The place was clean, spotless. It was all one level, with level walkout to the dock. The dock was great and easy to dock our boat,and we could see our boat clearly from both the kitchen/dining/living area and also the master bedroom. The boat landing is just down the road so that was very simple to launch our boat.. There is no beach or swimming at the shore, which wasn't an issue for us, but there are sandbars down the lake where alot of people were swimming. We enjoyed bonfires at night with plenty of firewood provided. We caught alot of fish, mostly panfish and bass, but saw some big muskies swirling. It was a very quiet neighborhood, which made it feel so private. It is a great place and we plan to come back. Thank you Laura and Jason!

Jason and Laura live in Bayport, MN and purchased this property as their retirement home. They plan on moving into the home eventually after their youngest graduates from high school. They love to bicycle, hike, fish and do home improvement projects. They like to share the property for people to enjoy it as much as they we do. Bone lake is one of their favorite lakes in NW Wisconsin.

The home is west facing on a level .92 acre lot with mature trees. The lakeside tree canopy offers shade without obscuring the lake view while dining on the deck or sitting by the fire. The dock bench allows views of the moon, stars, sunsets and is perfect for morning coffee or fishing. The property also affords a myriad of opportunities to experience nature without going anywhere, including ducks, geese, trumpeter swans, beaver, a wide variety of birds, red squirrel, chipmunks, and the occasional black bear sighting! The home feels fairly secluded while being walking distance to Bone Lake Park and the north Boat launch. In addition, there are many year round activities within a 20 mile radius such as wineries, breweries, restaurants, ATV, snowmobiles, hiking, golfing, state parks, bike trails, etc.
