The Space:
The property is located in the heart of the historic Bishop Arts District and is one of the areas premier residences. The unit is an open loft style floor plan with sleeping areas separated on two different levels. It has one shared bathroom, one kitchen with counter seating for four, and multiple walk in closets. It has hardwood floors throughout and concrete flooring in the bathroom. Custom cabinetry throughout with book matched mahogany fronts. Interior architectural highlights include custom welded staircase, exposed trusses, and dramatic 18 foot vaulted ceiling. The second story loft space has downtown Dallas views. Building is walking distance from all the area's best amenities and you will not find a better location and living space.

Guest Access:
Guest have access to the parking lot, breezeway seating area, and front courtyard seating area.

The Neighborhood:
The Bishop Arts District is a neighborhood rich in history, and was the site of Dallas' busiest trolley stop in the 1930s. Since the area's revitalization, the Bishop Arts District has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today and The Daily Beast for its small-town feel, hidden-gem appeal, and close-knit community. Located in the heart of North Oak Cliff, the Bishop Arts District is home to over 60 independent boutiques, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and art galleries, making it one of Dallas' most unique neighborhoods.

Getting Around:
Uber: Readily available and can get you downtown Dallas in 7 minutes and approximately $7.

Dlink Bus: Bus stop is out in front of the building on the adjacent property. Search DART to learn about pricing and schedules.

Dallas Street Car: Local stop is at Zang and Davis .4 miles from the building. Runs 7 days a week to Downtown Dallas from 5:30 am to midnight and is Free. Frequency is every 20 minutes.

Interaction with Guests:
I work closely with my co-host assistant Alex to make your trip the best it can be. She and I both live in the neighborhood and are available for simple questions and more serious concerns. We love helping guests but also have kids and busy lives. Most questions can be answered by reviewing the listing information and we are available to answer everything else.

Great location right in the middle of the Bishop Arts District and close enough to downtown Dallas that you can make it there without traffic. Very clean place and the host Alex was very friendly and easy to get in contact with.

Amaizing location!

The apartment was very cozy, clean and we could enjoy the great restaurants in the area only a few steps from our place, the downtown is near and it is perfect for families I will come back soon!

Check-in was scheduled for 3 PM, but I was not permitted to enter until 4 PM because the room had not been cleaned. The host’s communication was consistently unresponsive throughout the stay. To make matters worse, the room was double-booked, and my card is still being charged even though the full balance was already paid in advance.The only person who provided any real assistance was the property manager, Mary. The host, Alex, repeatedly stopped responding as soon as any issue arose.

Perfect location and property

Stayed for a long weekend in #9 and plan on coming back to stay again in July. Very clean, plenty of linens, well stocked kitchen, and plenty of room. Excellent location, walkable to shops and restaurants! Highly recommend this property!

Baseball Tournament

Great location for our stay. Walk to Breakfast, lunch or dinner, shopping, and in between all of our baseball locations between TCU and Dallas Baptist University.

Weekend Family Get-Together

We had such a great time in this cool, vintage-vibe loft space. My daughters and 2 nieces stayed here for a weekend in the Bishop Arts area. We loved being able to walk down Bishop to shop AND the convenience being right across the street from a breakfast spot. Check-in was super easy, and the communication with the host/management was prompt and professional. Highly recommend! .

Amazing!

What an awesome place to stay! We had so much fun staying here! It was close proximity to all the major attraction downtown and surrounding areas had to offer! Whether you are on business, or just want to get away this is your place to stay. The communication started off amazing and even after the trip the communication was quick in response. Beautiful Loft space in a Cute Neighborhood

We stayed here for an overnight trip for a concert in Dallas. Loved the neighborhood and how close this space was to cute restaurants/bars/etc. the Space itself was very clean, instructions were clear and our bed was very comfortable. The parking spaces are tight, but definitely appreciated having a designated spot! Communication with the check-in/check-out process was great as well. Would stay here again.

Location was great… felt safe and it is very near unique shops and restaurants. Only enough parking for one vehicle. Everything was clean, but one of the swivel barstool chairs was broken and the seat was about to come off the base. The lights in the bathroom had a constant flicker… we let the owner know about the issues.Also, the coffee maker was broken.

Construction of the B.A. Lofts was completed in the fall of 2016 and is a ten unit building that accommodates short and long term guests. The goal for this project was to create a building that blended into the historical fabric of the Bishop Arts District while becoming an architectural high point of its own and celebrated by many generations to come. The Bishop Arts Lofts is known as one of the areas premier residences for its boutique design and great proximity to all of the areas best amenities, shops, and restaurants. Since its opening in 2016 this new construction building has been the goto property for short term stays in the Bishop Art District. The building offers all the best comforts of new construction with a unique and custom design aesthetic that only this building can offer. This is the first choice for design minded travelers looking for a boutique accommodation. The property owner and developer of the building is not only your host but a long time neighborhood resident. A 21 year real estate professional he has built a dedicated management team that focuses on dependable professional services, something that is often missing in short term rental properties. All details have been considered and this property is one of the few offering each guest with a computer generated door code unique to each booking. Christian and his team are always eager to meet new travelers and help facilitate a great travel experience in the Bishop Arts District neighborhood.
