Large and elegant house built into a sunny hillside that feels both cozy and expansive. Located in the center of the Berkshires, this house is quiet yet one block walk to fabulous restaurants as well as a beautiful large park with fields and hiking trails. 5 minutes to downtown Lenox, 6 min to Stockbridge, 15 min to Great Barrington, 15 min to Pittsfield. So many gorgeous places to swim, bike, hike, and enjoy the Berkshires. It took years to find this gem of a beautiful house.

A Great Place to Stay

Scott's house was exactly as advertised. A great location. And, Scott was very accessible to answer any questions or issues that arose. All in all, a great place to stay!

Berkshires long weekend

Lee is a less posh town than Lenox or Stockbridge, but it has its own charms, including several good restaurants in the small downtown. The property looks modest from the outside but is very nice inside, especially the beautiful hardwood floors. Overall a nice, relaxing experience.

Charm and convenience

What a great week we had in this nicely updated historic home. It was light, bright, had plenty of space for relaxing , was the perfect location for a quick walk into town or exploring nearby attractions and communities. We loved listening to the church bells and crowing roosters from the wonderful and private deck. Beds were very comfortable. Scott was the most responsive host you could imagine and, when we couldn’t locate a drip coffeemaker, he even offered to overnight one to us from Amazon. The home was well stocked with really nice amenities and the kitchen not only offered lots of cookware but also spices, food wraps, and a lovely spot for dining. We visited lots of villages in The Berkshires and thought that Lee was the very best of them for a vacation rental and we highly recommend Scott’s home!

First time in the Berkshires for fall foliage 2021

Our stay was simply terrific, even before we arrived. Our host, Scott, was readily accessible. He provided us with prompt responses to our many questions. He also provided us with an invaluable list of restaurants, hikes, and things to do and see in each town. Upon arrival access was simple; location one block from downtown Lee was perfect in a quiet neighborhood; the spacious house was clean with lots of room to spread out; lots of windows for beautiful sunny days; fully equipped kitchen and baths; extensive TV offerings. No need was unmet. We hope to return to the the area and stay at Scott's again, this time in summer!!!

Great house and hosts in a great location

We had a great stay at the house in Lee. The house was immaculate, very comfortable, well-furnished, and equipped. And the location is great. Centrally located so convenient to Stockbridge and Lenox and Great Barrington. Would recommend.

Great for a family

This property was great for a family. My daughter loved the playroom and toys. It turned out to be perfect as it was a rainy weekend and we were indoors more than we thought we would be. Worked out perfect for our post COVID reunion with grandmother and granddaughter getting to reunite. Just wish more restaurant options in Lee.

Family stay in Lee, Mass

We enjoyed a week-long stay at this very comfortable, well-maintained and well-equipped home in Lee. As a family of four we had plenty of space. The property is very well situated with respect to the surrounding towns and outdoor areas, as well as the village of Lee itself. The owners care for their home and were helpful to us.

Comfortable property, convenient location

House was clean and provided the comforts of home. Kitchen/dining area, living room, and outdoor space good spots to hang with family and friends. A room with kids toys and books if you've got the whole family too! TV for DVDs and steaming, but no cable, just a heads up. Easy walk to all parts of town which was great! Short drive to hikes and other quaint towns in the surrounding area. We were pleased with our stay and would definitely go back. Thanks Scott!

Stay in Lee, MA

The house was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. The house itself is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The back room and patio are especially nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to escape in the Berkshires!

My family and I stayed at Scott's home in Lee and had a great stay. The house was extremely clean, has a great kitchen, is very spacious and walking distance from downtown Lee. The deck was a huge highlight for us, we spent almost the entire weekend out there grilling and enjoying the sun. There is a short hike just across the street from the house and plenty to see/explore in Lee and the surrounding towns. Scott sent us a list of hiking spots, swimming holes, and restaurants to check out since it was our first time in the area. Very grateful for this weekend away!

Convenient and comfortable house in Lee

We (five of us) spent five days in the Berkshires staying at this house in August 2020. It’s a nice house at a location near the center of Lee. It was clean and very comfortable. The owner, Scott, was very responsive and provided us with great info on things to do nearby. Among several highlights, we especially enjoyed his advice on Ice Glen. I recommend this house to anyone wanting to spend a few days in the Berkshires.

I'm a software entrepreneur and family man with two boys. We love our home in the Berkshires but have been in Vermont and have decided to share it with people that may be looking for a great place to stay in the Berkshires.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

We spent over a year searching before we found this gem of a house. The stars aligned and we were able to purchase it. Many aspects were just right... being on a SouthWest facing hillside provides wonderful light and the massive deck makes you feel lifted in the air in a cozy nest. Walk to town was a must for us, and this house is both private yet also only one block from many restaurants, 1 min to a large nature park with hiking, while being only 5 min to Lenox or Stockbridge. The centralized location makes it perfect short journeys. We also renovated the house with new hardwood flooring, a new kitchen, and put in gorgeous local Berkshires marble.
