We had a great time! The property was amazing for our needs. It was our first time to the area and we were invited by friends who live nearby. We are grateful for the hospitality here!

The house was perfect for our group of 10 - ages 73 to 7. The steps up/down to the house weren’t as bad as I was expecting, and they were lit at night as well. We rented a boat for the week and kept it at the house dock - worked out so well. We loved sitting on the patio and out on the dock chairs. Super clean and functional - had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and although we were there in August, the house never got too hot, we were always comfortable.

Beautiful and quiet spot! Yes there are quite a few stairs but I wouldn’t let it deter you from staying! Enough bedding, towels, and kitchen essentials. Communication with the host was always prompt. Access to water toys was a plus along with the boat dock! Only feedback I would give is that the directions and signage to the place and boat launch could be more clear. And we prefer a harder mattress so we found the master bed too soft. Outside of that the place was great!

Relaxing getaway

Amazing location

Our family had a wonderful time. The low bank water access is wonderful. Cabin is well stocked and comfortable. We would love to stay again.

Barn Owl Cabin Getaway

Great cabin with most all amenities needed on Lake Coeur d'Alene in Harrison ID. It's a little out of the way but that was also a positive. Perfect for family retreat right on the lake!

Great Vacation Spot

This is a Great Lake property. Right on the lake with and excellent dock. Plenty of room for six adults. Very well stocked with supplies. Hot tub was a great bonus. Loved out time there!

Lake Vacay

Our family stayed at the lake for a week and we had a wonderful time. The property was exactly what as advertised. Right on the lake! We would definitely go back!

Beautiful home

Very nice stay and well stocked house. Communication with owner/vrbo was incredible. Loved the board games, cornhole, canoe, hot tub, and view. Will definitely return.

Family Getaway

We had such a wonderful time with our kids making memories. This property offered stunning views right on the lake. The hot tub was great as well. Lots of laughs & memories made here.

Little piece of heaven

We absolutely loved our stay at the owl barn cabin. The home was clean and lovely and had everything we needed. The setting was ideal and we super appreciated that the hot tub had freshwater put in it right before we arrived— we are hot tub, snobs, and the freshwater made it usable. Dock was perfect. Lots of time spent out there playing swimming and boating.

The location is great. We can dock our boat and have easy access to the lake. The kitchen has a lot of cookware and good set of dishes to use, very convenient. We like the DVD collections. We love all the water toys provided including floating toys and kayak. The kids loved the hot tub,have great time in the cabin.

104 steps to the best vista

While the steps can be challenging, the comfort and views are worth each step. Our time was sad with 2 deaths of the firefighters in Canfield Park, but the 2 planes sweeping down on the lake was exciting for the kids as they repeatedly re-filled to suppress the fire. Our boats fit well on the docks and friends came to swim, eat, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you for time in paradise.

Celebration of life

What an amazingly beautiful location! The house was perfect for 5 adults. Loved all the outdoor seating and access to the water. The stairs were a challenge, as there are many, but it just forced us to have all we need so we could take advantage of the property, which none of us complained about. Thank you for opening up your home! We all want to come back again:-)

Beautiful Views!

Cozy cabin has a nice deck to sit outside and enjoy the water views! We had cool, rainy weather, but the firepit and wood burning stove were fantastic. No wi-fi or hair dryer, but that is certainly not a deal breaker. Having a boat dock was great. The steps to get to the cabin are no joke, pack light! So glad the steps were wrapped in string lights since we arrived at night. Great stay!

Perfect spot for a reunion

This cabin was perfect for our five year nursing school reunion. It’s tucked away in the woods which was the environment we were looking to stay in, but also a quick drive away from downtown CDA. We rented a pontoon boat from CDA pontoons which was a fantastic way to spend our Saturday, and this cabin’s dock worked perfectly for the boat. They had temperature control in every room and the bathrooms were centrally located to all of the bedrooms, which was super convenient. It has plenty of deck and dock space to lay out and enjoy your trip. Everything was clean and comfortable, including the hot tub. Finally, they had great water toys. Highly recommend, we will be back!!!

I would definitely stay here again. The cabin was cozy and clean and had everything we needed for the week. The dock was new and nice. We really enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. It was easy to launch our boat, the marina was just a 5-10 minute boat ride away. We loved being so close to the water. The cabin has a black stone grill which we really enjoyed and now want to buy one. You are super close to the neighbors but they were not there until the last night. The cabin is close to beauty bay and another bay under the bridge, we spent a lot of time there fishing in the evenings. Thanks for a great week!
