Trolling on the Beach - July2026

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house, very close to the beach. We really enjoyed our week and will definitely consider staying here again. We loved the backyard and the pool.The only concern we had were the steps from the 1st to 2nd floor. They definitely need to do addressed and fixed.

Perfect location

We loved the location of this home. It is far enough from the main area of congestion in Myrtle Beach, but still close to restaurants and local attractions. We will definitely consider this home again when planning our next family trip!

Just ok

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was great in the aspect that every bedroom had a private bathroom and we loved the private pool and location. But it did have its issues. The steps were cracked and all the spindles were loose. The living room furniture was visibly stained. We did find several bugs (most were dead) during our stay (roaches). Also the washing machine wasn’t working properly but management did send maintenance out and did agree to reimbursement for any expense incurred at a laundry mat during our stay. Overall I’d give this property a 6/10. If they could fix the steps and bug situation then it would be closer to an 8.

Reviewer Comments: - hair in tubs, on towels and in sinks upon arrival- washing machine when on rinse and spin with small loads sounds like it will come through the floor- off balance constantly -bats are in the overhang of balcony outside porch-floors were black, we could tell on our grandsons knees -pool was great, the place is roomy with enough kitchen accessories to cook and use, close to beach, quiet and family oriented-front right stove burner may not work- light does not come on to let you know working -owners should swing by to experience property

All sorts of issues!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pool area was large with plenty of chairs ... even a couple of zero gravity chairs. After that, it falls off quick. There was a spot in the bottom of the pool. The ice maker didn't work ... at least for the number of guests in the house. The washer was incredibly noisy/unbalanced. There were easily a dozen remotes for the living room TV. Worst of all: the beds were rock hard. We could have slept on concrete and it would have been as comfortable.

Fun time, house needs work.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental experience was great! Garden City Realty was easy to work with, communicated well and when we needed attention to repairs at the rental house they were quick and efficient. The house itself needs lots of maintenance especially the interior stairs to the second floor as well as the stair treads and the railings to the ontdoor stairs to the pool. Five years ago we rented this house and needed repairs to the outdoor stairs. Quick repairs were done and are now deteriorating. The kitchen stove has two burners that do not work well. The bottom of the pool has wear spots with no paint and the steps are chipped.The living room, dining room and deck furniture are overly worn. The yard is not maintained the weeds were over a foot tall.We will definitely use Garden City again but not for this house. I would think a first time user of Garden City renting this house would think twice about renting through Garden City.

The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the pool and spacious deck area. We hope to stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great, there was a couple of things that the HVAC company missed, the upstairs ceiling vent was dusting, & this does hurt the HVAC unit. The downstairs mud room commode needs attention, does not reset when flushed. The kitchen sink faucet leaks, but if you adjust handle the water will stop dripping. One of the refrigerator shelves is broken & the bathroom in the bedroom downstairs needs to have a slip resistant insert on the floor of the tub to keep one from getting hurt when stepping inside the tub. Overall unit is acceptable, this is my second time renting the home. I would give an A- rating still a good choice though.

We liked the set up of the house with it having a bathroom belonging to each bedroom and a large common area. The only negatives to keep me from doing five stars was that we saw bugs that looked like they were roaches approximately once a day. I wouldn’t say the problem is bad but I think the house has a minor bug issue. Also, the dryer and stove worked slowly. Overall, we loved the house and will consider staying again in the future.

Good location everything as described

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 11 people in our family and the space was good. Be aware there is only one common area- open kitchen/dining/living room- so if you like more spaces to be alone inside without using your bedroom, this may be a factor for you. Overall, house was clean (light fixtures and blinds were very dirty), at least one mattress should be replaced(back bedroom), great supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. A step stool would be helpful to reach the top kitchen cabinets. The LR TV IS a smart TV, the outside shower is great BUT no water pressure so getting sand off is a challenge. We were missing a dining room chair and the LR furniture is ok, it is fairly worn out. It’s the pool guy comes on Wednesday- we had no notice if that and were surprised when he walked in to the pool area. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. The beach is great!!

Best 3rd row house on the block

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our stay at Trollying the Beach. The pictures online do not do the house justice. It is much nicer and larger in person than depicted. The palms directly out front of the main porch provided privacy from neighboring homes. Being in line with the beach access made the walk to the beach easy and fast. It took 2-3 minutes tops to the access. We didn’t even realize when booking the street was directly in line with access which was a pleasant surprise. The pool was a generous size in comparison to others we looked at. We loved the additional back patio beyond the pool. The chairs around the pool could use a good power wash and cleaning. The only other negative I have is the main floor bedroom that leads to the back deck and pool. The mattress could definitely stand to be upgraded or replaced. Otherwise we would absolutely book here again and enjoyed our time away with friends and family. It was an overall wonderful vacation.

Fun Time at Trollying On The Beach

Trollying On The Beach is a spacious, close to a the beach, well furnished and close to route 17 to have access to everything else in the area. The pool area is great with plenty of lounge chairs and the huge deck is great to be in the sun and shade. Listed as a third row it is still very close to the beach. The house was very clean and well maintained.

The only downside which was a minor one was the back deck by the pool is in direct sun and it's black walking barefoot not so friendly, especially on the kids feet maybe consider an outdoor carpet. Otherwise a great trip.
