Good afternoon, we appreciate you taking the time to review our property and we take all reviews/suggestions from our guests constructively as a way to improve our level of service. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the house and the amenities that it provides. As far as the cleanliness and the bedding, we are sorry to hear you were met with less than desirable conditions. The comfort of our guests is paramount and we are in the process of interviewing a new cleaning company and improving our communications with them to ensure that this type of situation does not happen again. As for the batteries for the remote controls to the televisions, this is another area we are incorporating into our cleaning company procedures and making sure they are replaced on a consistent basis and extras available should the batteries not work. As far as them being attached to boards, which is different, we agree, however, unfortunately, not all guests have been as honest and we have had remotes disappear from the property and this was a way to keep them from walking off, without permanently affixing them to something. The A/C in the bedroom you mention is being replaced and unfortunately, the summers are extremely hot here and we are looking at methods to cool the garage. As far as the lake goes, unfortunately we cannot control the water quality, it is the summer, the calm conditions and extreme heat cause the algae to grow more at times. We are incorporating a beach inspection as part of our pre-check in process prior to any guest arrivals, to ensure our guests are met with excellent conditions. Again, we appreciate your honest review and we will be taking action on the items you have addressed, we hope to see you again.
