This is a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath home on Lake Ada. Just 10 minutes to Sanford SFB airport. Clean, uncluttered home equipped with everything you need for a fun vacation, just bring your toothbrush and shampoo. Master bedroom with full bath and direct access to the screen porch. Flat TV in master, BR 3 and the living room and WiFi. In the fenced back yard, there is a fire pit with gate access to the dock and lake. Screen porch and gas grill great for entertaining family and friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is very clean, well equipped and roomy. We loved having basic necessities in the house when we arrived. The beds are all very comfortable. The dock on the lake is an added bonus. Our boys really enjoyed fishing and the views were beautiful (especially when there is a rainbow). We will definitely be staying here again!

This is a beautiful home. Very clean and all the amenities that you would need. This is my third year staying at this property. I really didn’t need this large of a house this time but the hosts are awesome and so is the house.

Relaxing Home with Beautiful View

We totally enjoyed our stay. The lake view is beautiful and relaxing. Kitchen is well stocked and we did a fair amount of cooking.We would definitely stay again.

Cozy home-like atmosphere. We especially loved the lake view and watching cranes and other wildlife. Very comfy beds and well-appointed kitchen. Comfortable recliners and great TV and free

Great location

We were in town for a wedding in Sanford, so it was nice to all be able to stay in a house where we could hang out together. The house was close to the wedding venue, to restaurants, parks with walking trails, the beach and the Kennedy Space Center. We really liked the beer at Wops Hops microbrewery and the food was very good at St Johns River Steak and Seafood. The view of the lake was pretty and we loved relaxing in the hammock.

Clean & organized

It was a pleasure to stay in this property. The owner was responsive to my special needs (garage space for kayaks and trailer) and it was obvious they take pride in making a good experience for their guests. Everything was super clean and well-organized. We took day trips to kayak in several springs and the Winter Park "venetian canal".

Family Friendly Home

This place felt very family friendly for us with five young children as well as my parents. The view was beautiful and the neighborhood safe and nice for walks with the kids.

Fishing trip

Highly recommend

This is my family’s second time staying at this location, I was very excited to return here. Owners Jay and Teresa are wonderful, the home is beautiful, very clean. Location is very peaceful, I spent as much time as I could on the dock. Kids enjoyed fishing again this year from the dock. Thank you Jay and Teresa for opening your home for others to enjoy.

The picture of the dock had sold me on the property. We came into town for a wedding, the house was plenty of space and the dock was exactly like the picture- spacious, sturdy and clean with plenty of seating and a nice table,

Graduation/Family reunion

I enjoyed my stay in Sanford. Needed an extra night and Jay was very fast at making that happen. All my family were very pleased with the location and accommodations. Will choose Jay’s properties again in the future.

Will definitely be staying again.

What a great place to sit back and relax after meetings. Good selection of local restaurants and a well equipped kitchen for cooking. The owners are extremely responsive if you need anything and leave you to yourself. Other than a neighbor walking down the street we didn’t see anyone the whole time we were there.

Good location.

We chose the VRBO because of proximity to Sanford airport for an EARLY morning flight out. It was only a 1 hr drive to the KSC for our astronaut training experience. And we got to see a satellite launch from the comfort of the dock chairs on the lake. Easy peasy.

Awesome Lake House

This was a very beautiful home. Everything we needed was available. My family really enjoyed the fishing, and the sunrise and sunset were amazing to watch. Will definitely always stay at this lake house in the future. Thank you.

Beautiful Christmas Lake House

The house is in a nice neighborhood close to everything. The owner was very easy to work with and the check in process was non complicated. Description given of the house was accurate. The boat house at the end to the dock was our favorite place to sit and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. We were able to relax and enjoy family for Christmas. Would highly recommend for everyone to stay here.

Lake house time

We needed a place to stay initially for 7 people to attend a family wedding event in Lake Mary, Florida. This Lake House fit the bill for us. Our youngest daughter's family of 5 were unable to come but our other daughter's large family if 9 ran into a sleeping issue situation so we had 2 of her older children stay with us. The lake house is backed up to Lake Ada and is in a lovely setting. We weren't able to enjoy that as much due to the reason of our stay. Our accommodations were really comfortable for us. 2 full bathrooms, beds to sleep 7, plenty of kitchen gadgets, dishes, cookware, etc. TVs. Nice quiet neighborhood...well until the fireworks started at midnight on New Year's Eve. 😉 we enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you Jay and Teresa!

Meeting family

This house was awesome, plenty of space for all of us. We were able to meet my son's girlfriends family. Had everyone over for an early dinner. Spent the day relaxing both on the dock and backyard. Jay came over and introduced himself and took a couple our party on a boat ride around the lake. We saw turtles, birds, fish and small alligator in the water. I made a cake with a food processor instead of a hand mixer. I let Jay know a hand mixer would be a great addition. There wasn't any paper towels, but we luckily had our own. It was nice to be able to do our laundry, in fact was one of my requirements for renting a house. We had just gotten off a 12 day cruise. It was 30 minutes to Orlando airport, which was nice since we had a early flight.

We are part time missionaries who have led medical and other mission teams all over the world; focusing for the last few years on the fight against the horrible crime of Human Trafficking. We work through our local church and Teresa has founded "Chains Interrupted" which works locally, nationally and world wide to increase awareness as well as real prevention, rehabilitation and even rescue.
We love to travel and have children in 5 states.

When we found this hidden gem on a private water ski lake (Jay is an avid skier), we knew it was the home for us. We like to be close to the Sanford Airport as we travel through there a lot.
We have a second home on this lake (VRBO #1596741) and a third home on the smaller lake in the same neighborhood (VRBO #2422057)
