**August 31st 2020 The entire Cabin had a complete remodel.**

500 sq ft home- Come delight in this cozy little cabin right in the town of Challis, that is just minutes from the mountains. Built in 1930, it is one of the original homes of Challis. Many lakes, creeks, trails, hot springs, wildlife, ghost towns, hunting areas, and camping sites make this location ideal for your adventuring. Enjoy some of the yummiest food close by at various cafes, smokehouses, and diners. Conveniently located right in town.

*Rest assured that we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Perfect for a stay vacation, as a work-from-home alternative, or for families.

Challis Weekend

The property was very cute and quaint. I would recommend this place to a couple for a nice weekend getaway.

Rustic valley cabin.

Pretty good little house. I must say some things need address.. The oven temperature would not set Properly. The window AC unit is loud right above Your head watching tv. You are lucky to get a 5 minute shower before the hot water runs out. The heater in the bedroom needs to be addressed when super cold. If these things were all taken care of it would be a great little place. It served my purpose for 7 days.

Great stay

The cabin had everything we needed, host was very quick to reply to any questions,. Check in was so easy, great location. Loved watching deer and rabbits every morning and night. Perfect size for the two of us! Definitely will stay again!

Great little spot!

This little cabin was perfect for a stay in town. Warm, cozy, and all the amenities you need. That fold out sofa couch is hands down the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on. Hosts were terrific! 10/10

Cute, cozy cabin

Our group of four stayed for two nights at the cabin as part of a long road trip. We were thrilled by the town of Challis and all the friendly people we met in town. Our hosts left great recommendations for the area. We ate at the Real Deal Smokehouse and checked out the Bayhorse Ghost Town nearby- they both were wonderful! The cabin was a bit snug for four adults, but the beds were comfortable (including the pull-out couch) and we had plenty of bedding/towels for our stay. We were grateful to have a coffee pot to use in the morning! We would recommend this as a great spot for couples. Overall, it was a nice stay and our hosts were friendly and responsive.

Escape to Challis!

Super clean and cute place! Excellent communication with Eli when we experienced a technical internet difficulty the first night. He graciously put us up in his other rental 0.1 mile away and promptly fixed the issue the next day. The hideaway was darling and perfect for us to celebrate our anniversary. This being our longest vacation is 2 years, it fit the bill. Challis is such a beautiful place, rich in outdoor activities as well as history. My only suggestion is to bring a sun shade as the backyard has no protection from the sun and it can get hot. Thank you for a marvelous 5 nights!

The Rustic Valley Cabin was a great place to stay

The cabin was very clean. The property and the inside were both nicely updated but it still has a cozy home feeling to it. The manager responded quickly to my questions. We would definitely recommend staying there.

Great alternative to the limited lodging choices in Challis. Easy check in and just down the street from drive through espresso.

Cozy get away!

Peaceful and quiet little town with deer wandering the streets. Great get away for long weekend with your significant other. We will stay again!

Lovely Challis

This place is a lot better than staying in the motels in town. I love the decoration in the cabin. Only complaints were their were little black ants in the kitchen. I pretty much cleaned after every meal real good and mopped and they came again. The doorway height was pretty low for my tall husband hitting his head all the time. The pull out bed was very comfortable and bed was firm for my picky husband. We were hauling a trailer which made walking very convenient from the cabin. I love Challis and I was very glad to not have a grumpy husband with this lodging.

Cozy cabin in the center of hot spring adventures

We absolutely loved our stay up in Challis! This cozy cabin was perfect for everything we needed. We were able to take our pup with us and enjoy all the beauty that surrounds Challis, such as the many hot springs and mountain espcapes. Eli was so quick to get back to me with a question I had, which was much appreciated. We were able to enjoy getting out of the city and hiding away in the small town of Challis. The deer and bunnies that hung out in the front yard were such a cool thing to see. The fully stocked kitchen allowed for us to make our small Thanksgiving dinner here. What a wonderful place to stay! Thanks for the wonderful long weekend escape.

My Wife and I were both born and raised in Idaho. We have four beautiful girls-- ages 8 to 1. We love to explore as a family. We are excited to share our place with others!

It has been fully remodeled as of Sept 1st 20202 so it will feel rustic with all modern amenities. A lot of outdoor camping, hiking and fishing is in the area as well as some forthe best hot pools to visit in Idaho.
