This house is in a great location for access to Waynesville's downtown, the Blue Ridge Parkway entrances, and going in to GSM National Park.We loved the home itself, plenty of space for our family and so nicely appointed with comfy furniture, modern bathrooms, and a big kitchen.Host was quickly in touch and super nice.We hope to stay here again!

This cabin truly is a “10”! Beautifully updated inside with all the amenities you could need. Pristine cleanliness with thoughtful touches. The hosts are super friendly and kind. It’s not secluded, but it was quiet our entire stay. The grounds are adorable too. We definitely want to come back again!

Cozy cabin getaway

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin. The owners did an amazing job renovating while also keeping the charm of the log cabin. Every detail is thought out and every need is provided for. Great location!

Great cabin and stay

The cabin was wonderful with all “the extras” for a nice stay. It was very clean and instructions for all of “the extras” helped a great deal. The location is easily accessible and close to everything in Maggie Valley as well as Waynesville.

Beautiful cabin

This is by far one of the nicest and cleanest VRBO’s we have stayed at. The cabin is new remodeled with very nice furnishings. I went to Maggie Valley for a car show and had plenty of room to park my car trailer and room for vehicles. Very close to town for food and things. We had a great time and a great place to stay!

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin has everything that is needed for a perfect mountain getaway. The cabin itself is beautiful and has more than enough room. The kitchen is tastefully decorated and has plenty of room to prepare a family meal. The kids loved the game room on the back porch. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms were impressive. The owner has thought of everything you may need to make sure your stay feels like a home and not a vacation rental. The convenience of the location made our trip perfect. Communication was fast and the owner answered all questions we had.

Family Vacation

We stayed at the cabin from Friday to the following Saturday. They did a beautiful job restoring the cabin. There was plenty of room, the kitchen had everything that we needed, we enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings as it was still cool enough. It was also located close to Blue Ridge Parkway and Waynesville, which was great. We would definitely stay there again!

Visit to Cabin Creek

We came to Maggie Valley to catch some trout. Success (18 in 4 hours)! We celebrated that evening around the fire pit. We all were pleased with the renovations to the cabin. The kitchen was stocked making our dinners easy to prepare and enjoy. We hope to visit again!

Great escape!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin exploring the area (Smoky Mountains) and just relaxing at the property. The cabin was perfect for what we were looking for and was very welcoming and clean! After two days the kids wanted to know when we were coming back! Will definitely plan on it. Hosts were wonderful and very responsive to any (minor) questions we had, and also mailed back a few items we forgot.

Check in day the owner messaged me asking had we gotten to the cabin. When we did arrive at the cabin there is a garage is within several feet from the cabin where the owners live they were watching us unpack our vehicles. They watched us the whole time we stayed at the cabin they have cameras in many different places. You drive up to the cabin the garage where the owners live have cameras pointing down the drive way, pointing to the cabin into the windows, 2 more cameras on the front of the cabin one pointing at the driveway/walkway and the other at the door looking inside the cabin where the living room is there are NO Curtains or Shades where this camera is. The other cameras are on the back of the cabin pointing at the fire pit. We had to go to get blankets and tack pins to hang up at all the windows and the 2 doors so the owners couldn't watch us inside the cabin when they walked around the cabin. The second day the owner walked over to the cabin where he was caught going through our TRASH which is located inside the door where the ping pong table is. My father and uncle asked him what he was doing. The trash cans are located right behind the living room windows with no curtains or shades.The man owner was always walking around the cabin looking in the windows. When we would go outside to our vehicles the owners where always watching us. The owners has a dog which we're asthmatic to dogs we booked because of no animals allowed. There was also a camera in the kitchen.

Thank you for staying at our cabin, we appreciate your business. I would like to address several of your review comments which are completely false, as these allegations are concerning. While we do have disclosed cameras at our property, none are facing the living space. We do NOT have any cameras in the cabin. As disclosed in the listing and in the booking confirmation message, we do stay on property at times and happened to be visiting our garage apartment while you were there. The front of our detached garage is 75 feet from the cabin, the back porch of that garage is over 100 feet from the cabin. We never go to the cabin while guests are staying with us. I never went through your garbage and certainly did not walk around the cabin looking into windows. Our guest’s privacy is extremely important to us; aside from greeting guests if we see them in passing, we do not interact with them. The widows that face the driveway, as well as all the bedroom and bathroom windows have privacy blinds. Our previous reviews are stellar and reflect our commitment to providing a quality experience for our guests. I am sorry you had concerns that were not brought up until well after your stay was completed, I would have gladly addressed them. Looking over our sent messages on the VRBO app, it appears that the majority of them were not read or responded to (including the mid stay check in message).

Motorcycle Trip

The owner Shan was great with communication. The cabin was awesome from arrival. This was probably one of the best cabins we have ever rented. The owner had thought of everything from Spices in the cabin to laundry detergent. The games were a very nice touch and gave us things to do in our down time. The owner even took the time to label the light switch, so you knew how to operate everything. The location of the cabin was great and just enough of the main road you were not in the busy traffic. We will definitely be back

Cute and cozy cabin

Plenty of space and updated amenities. Located next to permanent residents that are less than tidy and the owners of the cabin live above the garage. We had everything we needed and more so the lack of privacy wasn’t a huge issue. It was close to everything in town

Perfect cabin

The cabin was so cozy and comfortable, the owners thought of everything. Was not expecting a cabin to be this well appointed. Fireplace was perfect for relaxing after the slopes. Outdoor fire pit area is nice, especially the cool lighting. Great location, close to skiing and tubing. Will definitely stay here again!

Welcome to Creekside cabin. We are excited you chose our home for your vacation. Your hosts, Heather and Shad are from Florida and we have always enjoyed spending time in the mountains of western North Carolina. We purchased this home to share with our family and friends and are now opening it up to new guests as well. We spent over a year renovating this cabin and spent a lot of time making sure the changes both honor the original cabin and add modern conveniences. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Creekside Cabin is an authentic handmade log cabin nestled in the heart of Maggie Valley. Whether you are sipping coffee on the front porch, listening to the calming creek on the back patio or roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, we hope you have an enjoyable stay with us. As you tour our cabin, you will notice many handcrafted details such as a 75 year old locust handrail and newel post from a tree that was cut in our front yard. Our entry table is made from a locally sourced tree stump and lovingly finished by the owner and a local craftsman. Our bathroom vanities were designed and built by a local cabinet maker with over 50 years experience making cabinets.

This cabin drew us in from the moment we first saw it in 2020. The peaceful location, large number of trees and creekside location made this property irresistible. We enjoy having the ability to see the mountains from the front porch, but not having to drive up steep, windy roads to get there. The rough cut logs, fireplace and natural lighting in the cabin make staying here a true rustic vacation. With central heat and air, high speed internet and energy efficient windows, this home is cozy and has everything you expect from a mountain get away.
