A Day in the Life is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Old Florida Cottages, just south of Scenic 30A between Gulf Place and Blue Mountain Beach. The beach is a 2-minute walk away, and the neighborhood's community pool has restrooms and two gas grills. The home sleeps 8 across three floors.

All three bedrooms are on the first floor. The Primary Bedroom has a king bed, a private balcony and its own private full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a private porch, and Bedroom 3 has two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

The second floor is the main living level, with an open living and dining area filled with natural light. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a full-size refrigerator with an ice maker. The dining table seats six, with more seating at the bar, and a glass-top table seats four. This floor also has two decks, a full bathroom with a stand-up shower off the kitchen and living area, and a full-size washer and dryer.

On the third floor, the loft has a wet bar and a queen sleeper sofa, a comfortable spot for reading or watching a movie.

ABOUT OLD FLORIDA COTTAGES
Old Florida Cottages sits just south of Scenic 30A, between Gulf Place and Blue Mountain Beach. Guests can walk to the beach in about 2 minutes or spend time at the community pool, which has restrooms and two gas grills next to the pool area.

Perfect property for a family of five for Fall Break! Property was as described and very clean! Two minute walk to the beach! I also loved that we didn’t have to strip the beds before check out!

Last Minute Booking

We booked last minute and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The booking process was easy and when we needed a little assistance they responded immediately. The home was beautiful, has everything you need, nice walk to the beach & great restaurant. We would definitely book again.

Dream Vacation

We had such a great time. Very relaxing and very needed vacation. The house was so beautiful and very comfortable. Pool and beach in walking distances. Also close to great restauants. I highly recommend staying in A Day in the Life. Best vacation ever!

Great Experience

Great experience staying here. Overall we really enjoyed the layout of the house and the surrounding areas. Having the A/C go out for one whole day was annoying, as was the community pool area feel uncared for (debris, hot pool water, trash not emptied) but the three families we were there with enjoyed the proximity to the beach and safety felt in the area.

Steps from the beach and awesome

Very nice beach home that accommodates family's very well. This location is steps from the beach (S of 30A), quaint, clean, kitchen has plenty of supplies and reasonability priced. Everything worked out perfectly with the property management co. since sending details via the APP.

Great Beach Trip

My husband and I took our 2 18 year old grand daughters to Santa Rosa Beach for a week. A Day in the Life is a super beach house. Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. A very short walk to the beach and our favorite Goatfeathers restaurant. Also close to other restaurants and shops, Publix is a 2.5 mile drive from house. Love this area and will return.

Great stay in Santa Rosa!

We had a wonderful stay at this property - first time in this house, but third time in this neighborhood and we love it here! The house was just as described: clean, spacious, beautiful and incredibly convenient! Communication from the owner/management was clear and the customer service was outstanding! We even had a maintenance issue (smoke detector was alarming and needed replaced), and it was handled quickly and efficiently! The community pool is a great alternative for days you don't want to be on the beach - which is all of a two minute walk from your front door! Would definitely stay at A Day in the Life again and highly recommend!

The place was clean and cozy with cute decor. Adequate kitchen supplies to cook each night for our large family. Close to the beach and seafood market to enjoy fresh seafood to cook on our own. The beds however were less than desirable. Kids bunk beds were hard as a rock and the other beds were old and need to be replaced. We all struggled to sleep comfortably. Overall the rest of the house was great.

The cutest house!

My friends and I loved this house and would definitely come back! It is decorated beautifully and has pots, pans, plenty of dishes and silverware. There is plenty of room for 8 people. We loved that it had an extra shower upstairs. It made it convenient for all the girls getting ready at the same time. It has a shower outside to rinse off too. The house is convenient to restaurants and shops and the beach is a short golf cart ride away, or you could walk it. There is no road noise, and the neighborhood is very quiet and clean.

Great location!

Overall, great property! I am an experienced Vrbo renter- this house was very clean, location was amazing, very open and light, nicely decorated. A few things- literally no extras- no salt, pepper, you name it. I know not to expect supplies when renting, but I mean , nothing ! Only one roll of TP per bath- had to make emergency run almost immediately! Bring ANYTHING you might need! One more thing , No smart TV- unless you have a fire stick, no way to watch except for cable. This isn’t a problem for some, but I have teenagers, and it’s nice to watch a movie after the beach all day.

Cockroaches galore

If you enjoy proximity to beach with access to multiple cockroaches throughout the house and subpar cleanliness, then this is the perfect beach house for you. When notifying rental company of the cockroaches, they were dismissive. Do not book this property!

While we appreciate this guests' review, it is important to note a few things for future renters. We have reviewed the correspondence between this guest and our staff. The guest reported seeing one "roach" at the home, that was in fact a palmetto bug. Palmetto bugs are very common in our area. Our homes are exterminated and properly maintained on a regular basis, and that is what our staff member assured this guest. We apologize if this guest found that to be "dismissive", and we welcome this guest back to our beautiful area in the future.
