Cozy older cabin. VERY quiet lake. Cabin did not quite have all the amenities of home but OK for a short stay. Good communication with the owner regarding a few issues we had. Canoes and Kayaks should have been turned upside down instead of being left upright. Lots of tree sap on everything outside, tables and chairs etc. Very nice lake to sit by and have an evening fire.

Great place in grst location

Couldnt ask for a better spot for a weekend away. The views from the lake are amazing. Thisbhousenisnperfect for a small group or family.

This was the perfect last minute getaway! Great property, private, well maintained and peaceful!Theresa and Tim made the rental process smooth for us. We took a few day trips and spent our evenings in the peace and quiet, enjoying out views at the shore of the lake.

Beautiful lakeside cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even though it was late in the season Theresa and Tim were very accommodating. We will definitely rent again if we find ourselves in eastern NH.

Great getaway...

Very nice cabin on the lake. Fire pit / chairs right on the water. can't ask for anything more. Very nice inside, well kept.

Perfect in every way

Cozy, clean and well appointed. The lake was peaceful and great for fishing swimming and boating. Theresa thought of everything when she prepared this cottage for families.

Beautiful spot!

The home was clean, updated and well- equipped. The location was amazing being right on the lake with no stairs to enter. We were able to rent a boat and dock it. Theresa was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Amazing four day vacation!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this cottage! Theresa and Tim were great hosts, very responsive and very thoughtful from leaving us toiletries in the event anyone forgot something, to a lovely bottle of wine😁The cottage was very clean and very accommodating, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was very well equipped, down to the wood for the fire pit which we thoroughly enjoyed! Best vacation this year! I highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back! Thank you Theresa and Tim we definitely created some beautiful memories 😁💕

Perfect Lake Gateway

The property is super cute and cozy with a lot of attention to detail. Everything went very well and the owner was very quick to respond when I had questions. Seating by the lake in front of the fire pit was exactly what we needed. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. Would go back in a heart bit.

This place is perfect

First off. Tim and Theresa are the kindest and best owners. We communicated a few times and they were always available for questions. The lake is beautiful with great scenery. We needed a getaway and it was perfect. From the fire pit, dock, boat launch, fishing, hiking to the cute bedrooms, living area and country kitchen….. the home was perfect. We will be looking to repeat.

Lovely lake view

Teresa and Tim worked to quickly resolve some minor issues as they arose. The house is casual and comfortable. The lake views are lovely and relaxing. We saw lots of wildlife( ducks, geese, loons, eagle, great blue heron). The kayaks and canoe were a wonderful way to explore. The lake does have a lot of weeds/ Lilly pad growth, so swimming was not great. Also there was a concern about growth of blue / green algae and bacteria in the lake. We had to clean the dock off several times after the ducks visited! The washer and dryer in the “basement “ was a little intimidating at first as the ceiling is so low and it was dark, but it worked well and and was so convenient. We loved the peaceful setting, sitting by the water was so relaxing. The house had everything we needed.

Kathleen and her husband were great guests, but we disagree with their comments about weeds. Our shorefront is virtually weed free out to 75 yards or so and about 30 yards on either side of the dock. As mentioned in the property description, depth is about 4 feet at the end of the dock and deepens gradually. Most if not all other guests have found it great for swimming, especially for youngsters. If you're looking for deeper water you have to venture a little further out. There are lillies in the area further out but they keep the boat traffic down which is a definite positive from our point of view, guests essentially have their own private swimming area. Regarding algae growth, the entire region was subject to this due to the heavy rainfall, it is not specific to Province Lake, which bears mentioning. Tim and Theresa

The lake was beautiful and cabin was cozy and fairly well stocked with essentials but you need to bring your own towels for the lake. We would give this 5 stars except that we found the beds and pillows very uncomfortable.

Very cute, cozy home!

We had a wonderful time at Dragonfly Cottage. Theresa was very easy to communicate with and the house is well appointed. The location is great, and we took full use of kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards. Great for an adult stay or a small family.

Just what we needed

My boyfriend and I had a very busy summer, and needed a getaway to recharge before going into my busiest season of the year. We were there in Mid-Late October, and it was beautiful, quiet, and just what we needed. The neighbor's house was much closer than the photos show, but because nobody was there, it didn't matter. We used the canoe one evening, when there was NO wind. The water was absolute glass. What a treat. The grocery store was kind of far away, but on our last day we discovered a restaurant/bar called The Carriage House Bistro & Tavern and it was amazing! I am a chef, and everything we tried was fantastic, and everything that came out of the kitchen looked fantastic as well. We wish we had found it sooner. They even had an excellent selection of Bourbon which my boyfriend was very happy to see. We highly recommend this location, and hope to stay there again in the future.

Much needed break in a great spot

My family really enjoyed our 2-week stay here. The property was as advertised and very well appointed. Clean, comfortable, great kitchen and nice grill (we like to cook). My daughter paddle-boarded each day, my son and I loved the fishing and my wife enjoyed the kayak. Our goal was to go and relax and this place helped us do it. I would highly recommend this.
