Beautiful accommodations in the heart of Pittsburgh. The valet parking staff was super friendly and helpful. The front desk was very welcoming upon our arrival and answered all of our questions promptly. We were impressed with the grandeur of the building. The apartment was spacious and well decorated. There was plenty of room for all 4 of us. It was the perfect base for our weekend in Pittsburgh!

Ball game

Stayed here for a couple of Ball games in June. Everything was as listed. Had trouble with the parking onsite as our phones didn’t work in the US, but Larry the front desk manager was great! He went out of his way to help us find parking and got us settled in.

Check in communication was lengthy and confusing. The code to enter the building didn’t work. Once we got in the building the key fobs in the apartment that were supposed to be used during the visit didn’t work. The parking directions were complicated and no where did he mention 30 a day for parking.

Location and cleanliness very good!

The checkin process was a little complicated, just because all Adobe notes were moved to scam folder, but team was fast and receptive. The apartment was very good and clean, lication was perfect and attended all our expectations. Quick walk to convention center and downtown area. The only inconvenient was the parking process, the app is not very friendly and we were always concern with our car.

Great location, great communication

I recently stayed here with two of my teenagers when we were visiting my daughter who goes to college in Pittsburgh. The apartment was in a perfect location, walkable to restaurants and the Strip shopping. Communication was excellent. We received very thorough instructions for parking and check in, making it a very smooth process. One of the bathrooms looked like it had not been cleaned thoroughly, but I emailed the property manager and they sent someone to the apartment in less than an hour to fix the problem. Also, the gym that we had access to in the building is great. Lots of equipment, weights, cardio. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Historic Building

Everything was great except the complicated check in. They ask for a “selfie” of you with your drivers license and want to see a picture of the CC you used to pay for the unit even though they have all the info and the unit is paid for. I’ve never had to do anything remotely like this process and I’ve stayed in over 20 VRBO’s. The building and unit were very good. There was a wedding on Saturday night. It got loud but overall wasn’t too bad. Uber had a hard time finding us. We finally figured out you should stand in the lower parking lot by the Amtrack Pittsburg station. I loved the building architecture and history but won’t stay there again because of the check in process.

Electricity was cut off when we arrived. They gave us another room but it was smaller. Cheap upgrades, Bathroom door broken. Just ok.

Issues and Cleanliness

The host requires an intrusive process to confirm the reservation once you have booked. All the photos they required for "security purposes" and never once did I see a security representative at the front desk to check ID or anything else. Sending pictures of my face with an ID and a credit card, feels like an overkill and completely unnecessary. The apartment is nice, but the sheets had stains on them. They had clearly been washed, but I would not make a bed with sheets that still had the marks of others on them. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken and the coffee maker was not particularly clean. Location is good, and the customer service representative for the host was extremely pleasant, but this was not my best experience in the least.

We're glad to know that you find our home visually pleasing and that you appreciate the demeanor and responsiveness of our customer service agent, Aric. We do apologize for having fallen short of your expectations surrounding our pre-arrival process and cleanliness. Upon review, we were unfortunately not advised of these inconveniences. We always try to remedy any issues and concerns our guests might have as long as they are relayed immediately, so we always encourage this and wish we had heard from you to try to improve your stay before you checked out. The requirements we ask of our guests before booking are listed in the house rules prior to booking and are certainly not meant to be surprising. We understand not everyone may agree to every host's rules which is why we post them at the top of the house rules for guests to decide whether or not this is something they wish to abide by. As for our sheets, we can promise that our linens are always sent off for professional laundering and a steam press, and you're right, while this sheet was cleaned and sanitized, it seemed that a stubborn stain failed to come out entirely. We can imagine how off-putting that was for you and will are working hard to improve our quality control for future guests to avoid this from happening again. Likewise, rest assured that the issues on the coffee maker and soap dispenser have been properly communicated to our housekeeping and maintenance team for immediate attention. No way to regulate the temperature and Pittsburgh was unseasonably cold we were frozen at night sleeping Dishwasher did not work Good bedroom sizes- living space small and choppy

It's an event venue

The concept is great but the implementation is terrible. It's a cool apartment but not finished well -- doors don't close, not enough bedding or dishes -- and communication nearly nonexistent. We finally got extra bedding on the second night, but by then there was a very loud (and beautiful) wedding in the main lobby and we couldn't even stay the second night. This is such a joke because we had to vow to be quiet and not have parties! Parking instructions were incorrect and we got a parking ticket. Not recommended.

Don't stay here if you want a clean place or quick communication.

We arrived the Sunday after Thanksgiving to turkey wreaking apartment with a thick layer of grease on the floor and majority of kitchen appliances and pots and pans. The towels even smelled of turkey. After reaching out to the property manager with pictures and expressing our disappointment, nothing was done to address the problems. This is a company, not a single owner and they only responded in the middle of night and sometimes took days to respond. While the location of the apartment is great, the filth and lack of communication make it not worth it.
