“Calm Water Cove” A Fun Family Lake Front Retreat

Welcome to “Calm Water Cove”.

This home is the perfect getaway for you and your family at the Lake of the Ozarks where there is something for everyone to enjoy.

This home is located in the back of a small cove off the main channel just off of mile marker 5 on the popular North Shore. This home is beautifully decorated and gives you a coastal cottage feel which invites you to relax and settle in for a great vacation.

The house is close to the water for easy access to the large dock which has both a swim deck and a sun deck. You can have hours of fun doing activities off the dock including swimming, paddle-boarding, kayaking, and playing on the Aqua Lily – all provided for your use! And don’t worry about filling up your suitcase with a bunch of beach towels – we have those for you too! Even though we are a short distance from the main channel, the water in the cove is calm and safe for swimming.

Brought your own boat or planning to rent one? We have a great 28 ft x 9 1/2 ft covered boat slip on the dock available for your use. By water you are just a short boat ride away to some local hot spots such as Boathouse Lakeside Bar and Grill, Shady Gators, Neon Taco, and Docknockers. We have parking for 2 vehicles directly in front of the house, and parking nearby for additional vehicles and boat trailers for a small fee.

When you feel like staying on dry land, enjoy the beautiful deck overlooking the lake which is located right next the gazebo. It is a peaceful place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or your evening cocktail. Or move on over to the large hammock for an afternoon nap.

Preparing meals is easy to do with our fully stocked kitchen complete with drip coffee pot, Keurig coffee bar, griddle, pots, pans, knives, cooking utensils, etc. We also have 2 refrigerators to keep all of your food and beverages cold. Located off of the kitchen is a Weber propane grill ready for you to grill out on the deck. There is plenty of seating for everyone both indoors and outdoors. The kitchen has a large table to seat 8-10, with an additional 4 seats at the bar. Finish off your meal with s’mores roasted in the fire pit down by the lake.

There are three bedrooms that are each furnished with a queen bed, and the bunk room has double bunk beds which consist of Twin over Twin bunks and a Twin over Full bunk bed. There is also a pull-out sofa if you need an extra space to sleep and a pack n play provided. This home is best suited to sleep a maximum of 8 adults. We have a washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets available for your use.

If it happens to rain, we have plenty of indoor activities to keep you busy. There are plenty of board games, cards, Wi-Fi and 5 TVs throughout the house so you can stream your favorite movies.

If you are looking for activities that don’t involve the water, head into nearby town to walk the iconic strip by Bagnell Dam and do some shopping or dining at many of the local restaurants and bars. Also close by is an outlet mall, go carts, golfing, and grocery stores.

With a relaxing location and beautiful setting, Calm Water Cove is the perfect place to visit any time of year.
