Large, renovated house

Located 1.5 hours from Paris, this renovated 200-square-meter farmhouse sits on 1,600 square meters of land and offers all the comforts for a stay for 14–15 people (up to 8 adults and up to 7 children).

The house features a spacious entryway, a 70-square-meter living area, 5 bedrooms, 3 separate restrooms, and 3 bathrooms.

On the first floor: a large entryway, a bright living area with a kitchen, dining room, and living room; a bathroom with a restroom, shower, and bathtub; a master suite (1 large bedroom with a 160-cm bed); and a bedroom with a sofa bed, 2 bunk beds, and 1 single loft bed; plus another toilet.

Upstairs: two bedrooms with 140-cm double beds, a dorm-style bedroom with two single beds, a sofa bed, and space to place mattresses on the floor, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower.

Outside:
- In front of the house: large terrace, paved and asphalted parking area (fits up to 4–5 cars), landscaped flower bed.
- At the back of the house: a wooden deck with a pond and waterfall, a garden with a swing, a soccer goal, and a semi-inground trampoline.
- On one side of the house: an uncovered swimming pool (8 m x 4 m), accessible and heated from early June through late September.
- The exterior of the house is currently undergoing renovation: the property is not fully fenced, and some exterior walls have not yet been redone.

Available for your use:
- Board games, children’s games
- Deck chairs, patio furniture, barbecue
- 5 bicycles are available (2 adult bikes + 1 child seat, 2 20-inch bikes, and 1 small bike with training wheels)
- Baby gear available upon request (travel crib, high chair, baby bathtub).
- Dish towels and bath mats are provided.
At this time, we are unable to provide bed linens or towels.
- Optional: We can decorate the living area for a special occasion (Easter, birthday, etc.).
- Optional “end-of-stay cleaning” for an additional €150. Aside from this cleaning service, all utilities are included in the listed rate (electricity, water, firewood, heated pool, etc.).

The house is detached, and the pool is completely private. You will have exclusive access to the entire property and grounds (the walk-in closet, workshop, utility room, and mezzanine will be off-limits).

It’s ideal for couples with children and for families who want to spend a weekend or vacation together and enjoy the countryside.

You’ll be sharing the space with our two bantam chickens that roam freely, our hamster, our gecko, and the goldfish in the outdoor pond. These animals will go about their business completely independently during your stay.
However, if—much to the children’s delight—you’d like to feed them during your stay, just let us know, and we’ll provide everything you need.

During school vacation periods, the house is rented only on a weekly basis, from Saturday at 5:00 PM to the following Saturday at 11:00 AM. The rest of the year, weekend rentals are available (from Friday evening to Sunday evening or adjusted for long weekends).

- less than 500 meters away, a 5-minute walk, you’ll find a community center with a bocce court, playground, soccer/basketball court, and fitness trail.
- Around the village, for family outings, walking, or running: the Écomusée de la Haie trail (3.5 km).
- In Arrou, a 5-minute drive away: swimming in the summer (a small body of water with a sandy beach), mini-golf
- In Brou, a 10-minute drive away: a large, renowned market every Wednesday morning, and the “Les Nouveaux Amis du Cheval” riding club (an equestrian club on the shores of the Grand Lac de Brou with beautiful views).
- In Châteaudun, a 15-minute drive away: castle, open-air café open in the summer, movie theater, go-kart track, canoe and kayak club (trips available for one hour or for the day to explore nature along the water).
