In a former Baujue farmhouse, a large 130-square-meter apartment for 4 to 10 people has been converted from the barn section. It features 3 bedrooms, 1 mezzanine, and 1 large living area with a kitchen and a pellet stove.
The apartment has 3 levels and direct access to the outdoors via a terrace. Very bright.
Located in the heart of the village, the farmhouse is divided into 3 independent apartments. Shared parking: 2 spaces for the vacation rental. Bakery, grocery store, and restaurant in the village. Cleaning required at the end of your stay (flat fee of €120). Facebook page for Gîte Village Bellecombe:
The property was built using eco-friendly materials by local artisans and ourselves. We chose to give many of the apartment’s items a second life, except for the bedding, bathroom fixtures, and kitchen cabinets, which are new. We have a garden, a small farmyard with chickens and a rooster, two cats, and one dog. We encourage you to compost and sort your trash. We use eco-friendly products for hygiene and cleaning.
Guest access
A laundry room with a restroom is available for all three units. A washing machine and dryer are provided.
The gravel courtyard serves as a parking area for all three units. Space is limited, so please park diagonally against the wall to ensure everyone has a spot.
Additional notes
The back of the garden is accessible to all three units; a table, chairs, and a fire pit are available for everyone’s use. The treehouse in the apple orchard is private. The vegetable garden is for our family.
The village of Bellecombe-en-Bauges is part of the Massif des Bauges Regional Park. It is ideally located on the GR trail around the Bauges. The apartment is in a farmhouse at the entrance to the village. You can walk to the village shops (grocery store, bakery, bar, restaurant), the GR trail, and other hiking trails or walking paths, not to mention remarkable sites such as the Devil’s Bridge, the banks of the Chéran River, the large-frame sawmill, and the Col de Bornette.
Bellecombe-en-Bauges is located 25 km from both Annecy and Aix-les-Bains. Lake Annecy is 15 km away, as is the Semnoz ski resort. The Lescheraines recreation center is 5 km away. In this village, you’ll find numerous shops and services, as well as local crafts (just like in Le Chatelard). Special mention goes to our organic and local grocery store (Croc’Bauges)
Potential annoyances (though this is just a matter of perspective—we love it): rooster crowing, church bells, nearby farm
