We allow a maximum of 2 dogs! We welcome responsible owners with well-mannered dogs! We do not allow cats or any other animals.

The chalet's location is superb -- close to skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, fishing, swimming, and other water sports plus shopping, dining, sporting, and cultural attractions. Each summer, the IRONMAN competition passes right through our town of Wilmington!

Bedroom Details:

Olympic Dreams Chalet has 4 bedrooms: 3 bedrooms have king beds and 1 has a queen bed with a double size bunk bed as well. The home comfortably sleeps 10 but can accommodate up to 12 guests total. There is also a blowup mattress and a queen size foam mattress available. If there are 12 adults, please be aware that space may be tight.

All bedrooms are equipped with a flat-screen television and Amazon fire sticks for viewing shows on your favorite streaming services. All bedrooms have closets and drawer space for unpacking. The main and upper-level bedrooms have ceiling fans to enable greater air circulation. For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th we are pleased to provide A/C in the main and upper-level bedrooms and living room.

Each bedroom also comes with their own Amazon Alexa devices for your listening pleasure!

Bathroom Details:

There is ample ceiling and over sink lighting in all bathrooms. Mirrored medicine cabinets and vanities offer space with which to store your belongings. The upper and main level bathrooms boast custom showers with glass doors. The lower level bathroom has a shower tub combination and bidet.

Kitchen:

Our kitchen is a chef's dream! With expansive granite counter tops and a full complement of utensils, pots, pans and appliances, you'll enjoy preparing fantastic meals for the entire crew! Stools around the table bar area enable your group to eat and gather all together.

Outdoor Living:

The outdoor living space at Olympic Dreams Chalet includes wooded views from the deck, a 5 person hot tub, a dining table and chairs, a fire pit with Adirondack lounge chairs, 2 charcoal grills, and an expansive yard for lawn games and relaxing in the great outdoors.

Additional Information:

The following items are supplied: toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, body wash and shampoo. Linens are provided, including bedsheets, washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We do not supply, condiments, beach towels, or charcoal.

A plow service shovels snow (above 5 inches) in winter. Sand and a snow shovel are available on the front deck for guest use.

The home is ideally situated, just 1 mile from Whiteface Mountain Resort; a 15-minute drive from Lake Placid; and steps from hiking trails that vary from relaxed walking/beginner trails to hard climbs/expert trails. Be sure to visit the beautiful Wilmington Flume, a 3-minute drive from the chalet.

Boasting over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails and 11 lifts, Whiteface Mountain has the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies and features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders, expert glades, and slides for the advanced and loads of trails for everyone in between! The longest run is the 2.1 mile 'Wilmington Trail' and total skiing and snowboarding trails stretch over 22 miles. Whiteface Mountain is truly fun for everyone! In summer, Whiteface offers splendid views, gondola rides, mountain biking, extreme tubing and more.

Lake Placid is a beautiful 15-minute drive from Wilmington along NYS Route 86. Wilmington Notch on the way is breathtaking and has been designated part of the Olympic Scenic Byway. Hiking trailheads and beautiful High Falls Gorge are accessible right from the road!

A charming, all season resort town, Lake Placid boasts a Main Street; unique, locally owned shops; loads of dining options; sporting and cultural events, movie theatre, mini golf and waterfront park where live music is featured weekly during summer. The town also has supermarkets, delis and other conveniences.

Olympic Dreams Chalet is kept clean and the owners and rental team take tremendous pride in ensuring that it is perfect for each guests vacation. Our handyman service is on call 24-hours a day for any issue that may arise during your stay.
