Great location but the place needs some TLC. Broken blinds, shower a dribble, and tiny beds.

Great stay

We had a great week long stay. 2 adults and 2 kids fit well. The house is older but had a lot of charm and the neighborhood was great; safe and close to shops/restaurants.

Nice location for a family. We were able to get to the Midway, San Diego Zoo, Science Museum, and Safari Park easily. There were games for the kids to play and the foosball table by the laundry was a huge hit with my kids. The house is clean and communication was great.

In town attending a family function. My sister, niece and I had a wonderful stay in this adorable bungalow located in a safe residential neighborhood. Interior was very clean, beds comfy including the pull out couch. Location was excellent and host responded quickly to all our questions. On site parking driveway was snug but expected and we had no problem parking two vehicles. Backyard area was fabulous while furniture and landscaping could use some TLC. That said, a few little things should be addressed like broken shades, better care to overall landscaping and stocking of kitchen. We only had 1 wine glass and no electric coffee pot. The home did provide a small drip coffee pot which worked fine but a bit inconvenient for big coffee drinkers. There was no shampoo or body wash provided which required us to make a trip to the store. We missed not having a physical guest binder which would have been helpful instead of needing to refer to e-mails and VRBO site. Overall we all agreed this sweet cozy home made our trip so enjoyable and we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely little home close to everything

This was a great little property. It’s an older home, so it has quirks - a light that might not reach the plug here, a window shade that won’t go up there, but it is clean and comfortable and close to everything you want to do with an attentive host and a lovely garden. Would stay again!

Excellent property!

Very clean & beautiful house. Perfect for the two of us to spend the week in San Diego. Excellent location as a home base for day trips around the city. We loved the back yard for relaxing after a long day of touring the city. Great communication from host. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, charming and spotless!

We loved our stay at Lynn’s place! A classic San Diego bungalow with a fully updated kitchen and bathroom, excellent A/C and wifi, comfy linens and ceiling fans (yay!). Lynn was a kind and responsive host. Check-in and check-out were so easy and all directions were clearly communicated. Loved the thoughtful decor and tasteful updates. Highly recommend!

House was very clean and well put together for its size. You never felt crowded and a great location thats central to all the best food and walkable neighborhoods. Hard to tell in the pictures but the office area being away from the main living space was amazing for work while we were there, a big bonus! Lynn was a great host, very responsive and helpful throught. Would definitely snag this property again if available next time we come into town!

Convenient abode!

This was a lovely and convenient place to crash while visiting family for the Fourth of July. The house itself is very cozy but the backyard is a total dream and very walkable to fun bars and restaurants (highly recommend stopping by the Lafayette Hotel for a cocktail). I also really appreciated having laundry on site.

Great location with a short drive to Gaslamp district and convention center. We especially enjoyed the back patio area every night! Even our teenage boys hung out there each night with us! Great communication and instructions, highly recommend!

Short but Sweet

Our stay ended up being only for 1 night due to a flight delay, but the bungalow was the perfect place for a quick visit with our extended family in the SD area. We hope for another opportunity for a more extended stay in the future!

Wonderful Home Away from Home

We loved this bungalow and the neighborhood enormously. Every thing was so convenient and well done. I was even able to take some work calls from the separate playroom (former garage I'd guess) that didn't impose on anyone up in the house and gave me a beautiful view of the charming garden in back. Lynn was excellent and very responsive. We'd highly recommend this spot!

Great Getaway

Cute little home in perfect location for anything you want to do in San Diego! Driveway is VERY narrow and it was difficult to get the kids in and out of the car. Some of the door were tricky to close and the AC would kick off when we were not there. The outdoor space in the back was WONDERFUL and a pleasant surprise to find a foosball table to entertain the boys. Great home away from home.

North Park/Hillcrest/University Heights

Perfect location for visits to Balboa Park. So many fun places within walking distance in Hillcrest and University Heights, either brunch or dinner, or just to grab a few pints. Easy drive to Ocean Beach and Old Town, or hop on 163 to head north to Safari Park or Joshua Tree. Super convenient and right sized for my wife and I, along with my adult son and my mother. The side house and private backyard are sweet bonus features.

Great home in a perfect location

We had a fantastic stay in this charming and cozy home in a neighborhood we loved. The house is cozy and well-appointed with nice decor and original touches. The kitchen was great for our family, and it came well-stocked with everything we needed. The bonus outdoor space / veranda was super cool, especially at night. The neighborhood is safe and amazing with an insane amount of restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops nearby. Highway access to get north up the coast or over to the beaches was super convenient. Everything with the owner was clear, smooth, and professional. Our only complaint is that the internet / wifi was slow for streaming in the living room, but it worked well most of the time. Great stay overall!

Great location

The home is in a great location. Quick drive to many tourist hotspots. It is nice to have the detached garage converted into a laundry room for a quiet area for unexpected Zoom meetings. The backyard is nice and the Foosball table was a hit with my son. The host is very responsive to messages. Cleanliness could have been better. King bed orientation was such that you had to climb over the other person if you didn't wake up/ sleep at the same time. The washing machine in the outside laundry room was small and so had to do many smaller loads during our stay.

san diego holiday

what a very nice place, perfect for two mature adults. This is a wonderful property with charm and a neighborhood feel. That said we wish to point out small issues with the broadcast range of the modem which prevented smart tv from linking to the internet. We worked around by using our phones as hotspots, and minor issues with the main room window against the bed where the roll up screen is not functioning properly. Also small issue of the dining area blind that malfunctioned as well during opening a closing. other than these minor issues this is a great place to stay and our experience was very satisfying. Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of your home. We only point out the minor imperfections to help improve the experience of your next guest.
