Perfect home for a large gathering of family and friends! Peaceful, private and spacious living greets you through a canopy of soaring trees. This beautiful two-level home enjoys a tranquil setting located on a quiet street. The immediate grounds around the residence have been cleared, allowing plenty of sunshine to fill the home while the elevation offers views of stunning Mount Shasta. Inside, the layout is bright and welcoming with an open-concept that's perfect to entertain and prepare large meals. The stylish kitchen is equipped with everything you need, plus an island and a separate bar. Guests have LOVED the game room, which includes a pool table, ping pong, a Pac Man video arcade game, darts, corn hull, badminton and a full size poker table. . Outside, this generous property backs onto the year-round Wagon Creek. Enjoy dinner on the fire pit table, roast smore's using the outdoor fire pit, or simply soak up the warm sunshine on the back patio. Peace and privacy are all yours. 30 day minimum night.

Perfect for our chosen Family

We had such a lovely time staying here. The AC was cold, the beds were comfy, and there were more than enough amenities for our crew of 9 adults! We loved the outdoor spaces and yard, along with the big living room and plenty of bedrooms. Super close to hiking, takes, and crystal shops downtown✨

Nice rental, good location, great yard

Overall, one of the nicer rentals we’ve stayed at in Shasta. Great backyard and well equipped kitchen, plenty of bath towels and linens that were in good condition. Close to the creek and on a nice culdesac. Just a few notes as it wasn’t super clear from the listing - Nice to have the game room but didn’t realize it was in the garage. AC worked well, note they are in room units, not central AC. Would recommend more window coverings in the main upstairs bedroom. Would definitely consider staying again!

Magic home away from home

This is our third time staying at Tanager Lane and it’s always nothing short of perfect, for our family. The location is convenient to everything we love. The lakes and town and views of mt Shasta captivate us every time. The house is super comfy and set up for our families needs - the owner is so responsive and friendly and helpful. Much love and gratitude for each opportunity to visit!

Reunion and family vacation

We had a great week staying in this beautiful home. Our family enjoyed the game room and the view of Mt Shasta from the deck was amazing. We fished at the lake, saw waterfalls, went to 2 nurseries, visited the mt. Shasta fishery and museum and also the Shasta dam and Shasta caverns. The weather was perfect! We attended a family reunion that was held at Mt Shasta city park.

Misery

Property was filthy with heavy layer of pollen. Frying pans were dirty, with worn coating. Pool table was not level - so useless. Refrigerator died on second night. Tranquility on Tanager was closer to Misery on Tanager. There’s more.

Beautiful Home!!

Could not have found a better place to stay. Had everything we needed and then some. We were in town for my uncle's Celebration of Life, and it waa nice and open, gorgeous backyard for our otjer out of town family to come and visit with us. Beautiful and serene. Would highly recommend. A family members were very interested for them to rent in the future. Thank you for allowing us to rent it from you.

Beautiful Shasta Home!

This was a great experience from start to finish! The home was clean and well stocked. The family space was wonderful - both inside and out. We hope to stay here again in the future. The only thing to be aware of is that the "game room" in the pictures is actually now the 5th bedroom. The game room is now in the garage. The pool table was up against the wall so we couldn't really use it, but the rest of the items in the picture are available. If you're staying in the winter, you'll need to bundle up to be out there. But the kids still had a great time.

Ski vacation

The house was great, kids had a good time with plenty of space inside and in the backyard. Easy access from town and to Mt. Shasta. If we have a large group in the future I would enjoy staying at this house again.

Great Property with space for a large group and family

We have really enjoyed the stay at this place. House was very spacious and cozy. Enough space for a large group and spend some good time. However, I feel that crew should have done a better job. Kitchen was clean and have everything we need but noticed that small things were all over the place and was not organized. Noticed some cleaning issues which we brought to the manages notice. He acknowledged it so hope cleaning crew do better job. Lot of outdoor space and well equipped for outdoor entertainment. We could not enjoy it as it was snowing but really liked the privacy of the property. Overall this place as very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

Loved it!

My family and I stayed for a few nights and absolutely loved it. The weather was cold and rainy, but that made the house seem super cozy. We had everything we needed, and Lianne was responsive and kind when we reached out once. Overall, a seamless experience! 5 stars. We can't wait to come back!

Awesome Stay

We had a great time. There was plenty of room for our family. We had 4 generations of family and we all had a great time. We cooked an early Thanksgiving meal, had plenty of room and We had everything we needed. The game room was awesome, we all played darts and pool and spent a lot of time out there. The backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed playing out there with our grandchildren. Everything was perfect, thank you

Phenomenal stay

This property exceeded our expectations. The house and location were perfect. It was super welcoming to pull up to a lit house. It was super clean and well equipped. We had a total of 9 people and it never felt crowded. We enjoyed the game room and the back yard immensely. The host was very kind and responsive. We will definitely return to this property.

Wonderful

Peaceful. Home is stocked well with plenty of dishes, cups, cook ware, etc. Coffee was great on the deck in the morning with a view of Shasta. Just an overall peaceful stay. Loved it

Perfect Place

The property was the perfect place for our stay. It had all the amenities we needed. Especially kitchen supplies. I love the various places on the property that you can escape to. This is my second time staying here, and I will be returning next year.

Boys weekend

I had organized this boys trip for the 10 men in our family. I love the mount shasta area and really enjoy Lake Siskiyou. This home is situated in the perfect location. It is isolated from the other homes nearby and just a few miles to the lake or town center. It has plenty of parking space, enough to park my 24foot pontoon and 5 other cars easily. The backyard is awesome and very relaxing. The home itself is very comfortable and accomodating. The host responded to all my questions quickly. My wife is now looking forward to spending some time in this home for our next Mt Shasta getaway

Great for groups!

We loved this property. It was perfect for a group with a spacious kitchen, lots of bedrooms, and cozy living room, bonus game room, and the outdoor space was second to none. We would absolutely recommend!

John and Lianne Rocha are North State natives who were born and raised in the Redding area. They reconnected again after being high school sweethearts and were married in McCloud in February of 2020, surrounded by their family and friends. They love Mt Shasta as it has been their backyard playground for most of their lives, and they really love to share this special home with family, friends and guests like yourselves!
