Welcome to Somerset 402. Located on Marco Islands 5 mile beach, enjoy due western exposure giving you spectacular sunsets! The unit has been completely re-modeled with the coastal theme in focus. Large walk in shower and dual sinks in the shower, walk in shower in guest. The furniture goes great with the unit and with the Marco feel. The complex itself has two heated pools, 2 outdoor grilling areas, tennis courts, lobby sitting area, gym, and most importantly 2 boardwalks to the beach. Unit has storage locker with all the beach gear you will need. We live on Marco and will be meeting you at the lobby to meet you and give you the keys. Also if any issues arise. We truly look forward to hosting you and your family in this great unit!

Please be aware that after we accept your booking request, you will be receiving an email from The Somerset association for you to fill out their HOA form. This form has a non refundable fee of $150.

During May 1 - October 31 Renters see below in regards to Turtle Season

"Lessee [or substitute “Tenant” or “Renter” for “Lessee” everywhere that word appears in this paragraph, based on the term used in your Lease] acknowledges and understands that the period from May 1 through October 31 each year is Sea Turtle Nesting Season. Lessee agrees to Turn Off balcony lights before 9:00 p.m. and to close the drapes or window treatments of all windows facing the Gulf to minimize the projection of interior lights as any such lights may disorient an adult or newly hatched Sea Turtle. Lessee understands that the Turtles are endangered and protected by Federal Law. Substantial fines can be levied against the occupant/owner by law enforcement for violations of ordinances protecting Turtles. Lessee agrees to reimburse Owner for payment of the Fines imposed for violations during Lessee’s occupancy and for the reasonable legal defense costs incurred."

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time and we were right on the beach with full access to a heated pool. The sunsets were breathtaking and the condo was beautiful and immaculate. This was by far our best trip to Florida

It was an excellent stay the only feedback i would have is i wish it had in the listing some of the extra consumables listed as we had purchased some prior to arrival some examples are laundry soap dishwasher pods etc but overall no issued with our stay

Great Place!

This condo is all about the location. Beautiful sunsets and beach views directly off the balcony. The pool is well maintained. My only issue was that there was not a smart TV - we were unable to stream shows.

Excellent Stay

This was our first visit to Marco Island and this unit was perfect for what we were looking, 2 bedroom unit on the beach. The photos were accurate, the unit was clean with easy access to the beach and a pool. Communication with check in and check out was great. We would recommend this property and would happily stay there again

We arrived about 4 days after the Hurricane and had great communication leading up to our arrival on the status of the island and our Unit. The Condo was well maintained and had everything we needed. We haved stayed within the Somerset a few times and this Unit was the best to date.

Perfect getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very nice with updated appliances and provided the little details often overlooked. The locker with chairs and umbrellas was also a very nice attribute. Great location and not too busy.

Excellent stay

Communication with management was simple. Condo was in an excellent spot. Absolutely great location. Walked with family to several dinners. Would stay again.

Perfect Condo

We stayed the week before Christmas and it couldn't have been better. Clean condo on the beach. Included beach chairs and cooler. We will be back.

Great condo right on the beach! Beautiful ocean views from balcony.

Everything was as advertised. We loved the location and the ocean views. The management was easy to work with. Only recommendations are wagon for beach gear and better mattresses and pillows.

Five star rental

We have stayed in this unit 3 times and plan on coming back. We have stayed other places but keep coming back here because of the cleanliness and nice set up. Definitely our favorite on Marco. Anyone wondering if it will be nice, it will be!

Beautiful Place, would stay again

Overall, we loved staying at Somerset. It was great location close to everything and right on the beach. The communication with the property managers were excellent and the room was very clean. I would only offer two small suggestions, the bed was a little soft and it would be wonderful to have a beach cart to carry everything in :) However, with that being said the room was super nice and we would definitely stay again.

Beach Front Condo

The condo was great and the location was excellent. Our only complaint is that the mattress in the master bedroom was terrible. It absolutely needs to be replaced it was very uncomfortable.

Beautiful Condo in Marco Island

My family and I just got back from a great stay at The Somerset! The condo was clean and spacious for our family for 4. The view is amazing, it’s tastefully decorated, fully stocked and has a couple extras that were nice - Rubbermaid to take food to the beach, coffee filters, salt & pepper and koozies. There is plenty of room in the closets to put everything away, including your suitcases. The walk to the beach is easy and there is a locker in the lower level with beach chairs, umbrellas, etc, to use. There are a few restaurants nearby that we could walk to which was nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Greatest beach view!

Loved the condo, nicely furnished. Fabulous view, good location. Arrived all by myself and as a woman traveling alone I wished there had been someone at the gate. Really my only complaint was not enough security. But that said, I would definitely rent there again!

Great place to stay on Marco Island

This is a great condo. Tons of room. Decent beds. Good kitchen. Amazing balcony and view. Can’t really be beat. I would absolutely book here again. Cons. Construction going on every day. The locker is in dire need of a wagon to transport beach supplies to and from the beach. Especially if you have a family and want to bring chairs, umbrellas, and toys. None of these cons would prevent me from booking again. Thanks.

Great place!

We had a great time here! The unit was clean, updated fairly recently and had pretty much everything that you could need. It looked exactly as the pictures showed in the listing. The management company was really nice and easy to work with. They made the entire check-in/out process very easy. The building is going through some exterior renovations (painting/sanding) and fortunately for us, we were not impacted by this as the unit’s exterior was already completed. Perfect views of the beach and sunsets. My only suggestions for making this better would be if there was a beach cart available to lug everything back and forth to the beach and the chairs/umbrellas are a bit rusted out, making them a bit challenging to work with. Replacing those would be something to consider. Overall, we definitely recommend this unit and we absolutely would stay here again. Thank you!

Nice place on southern Marco Island with a few annoyances

Pictures and description of condo are accurate. This place is very clean and well-kept. The views of the ocean are gorgeous and the balcony is awesome. The kitchen is fairly well-stocked with dishes, utensils, and the like. It doesn't have everything (I recall having a problem baking pizzas) but it's pretty good. It has a washer and dryer which came in handy. The beds are quite firm which you may like but we did not. The TV's are fine, and they can stream, but the wifi speed and distance were mediocre so there was occasional buffering, and slowness especially on the balcony. Access to the beach was fairly easy if our hands weren't full, though access is limited by two locked gates, good for security I suppose but it was annoying as we rarely had empty hands. The locker contained a number of items useful at the beach, but unfortunately they were lacking. No caddy is provided so you have to carry all the chairs, umbrella and what-not to and from the beach each day. Many people had a caddy so it was very disappointing that we didn't have one. The umbrella was quite small, maybe ok for two people but for a family of four or five, half or more will be in the sun. No shovel is provided so it is difficult to install the umbrella. We borrowed one on one day and found it much easier. The owners really should provide a caddy and shovel as these would greatly reduce the amount of work required (this is vacation, after all) and little expense. Overall, a nice place to stay. The beach was unnecessarily too much work each day and the beds were uncomfortable, but we would consider staying here again.
