Welcome to the Urban experience featuring high ceilings, stylish decor, and natural sunlight. The unit is located in Downtown Detroit in the historic Corktown District. This place is perfect for relaxing or working. The beautiful Detroit River is within a 3 min walking distance with a beautiful view of the Ambassador Bridge, with Canada across the river. We are located Downtown with Casinos, nightclubs, and sporting venues within 5 min. Self-entry check-in and gated parking are available.

You have access to the entire loft. Feel free to cook a meal, relax, and take a hot bubble bath.

Nice spot!

We enjoyed our stay in Detroit and loved the warm welcome we received when we entered the unit. My name was written in chalk on the wall! That was a super cute touch. The area is a LITTLE sketchy. But don’t let that turn you away. Once you’re inside, it’s lovely. I appreciated the toiletries and other items available for use. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area!

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. Chanavia was very nice & attentive. Responds in a timely manner. The unit was nice and intimate. Everything was clean and ready for my stay.

The area and outer appearance seemed sketchy, but the dpace was very nice!!! Communication with the host through the app was flawless. She responded very quickly! It was a very nice stay.

Don't judge a book by its cover

First and foremost, the unit is super cute, and welcoming. I loved the whole vibe. The industrial interior, the wood floors, the open concept. Loved it!! Now, the location does look a little off-putting. The doors to the building, and the stairs come off a little sketchy. But it's definitely got the industrial feel, and we loved it. That being said, the upstairs neighbor was quite loud throughout the night, It did make it kind of hard to sleep. No fault of the host, though! Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was warm, welcoming, and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Very cute apartment, hosts were kind and accommodating

Stayed for a night while in town for a show. We had no issues getting in, and felt very welcome. The neighborhood is a little bit sketchy, but we felt safe.

Good location for Downtown

When you pull up front it is a little messy outside but it is a urban area. The place is very well laid out inside. The host has paid attention to details. We enjoyed the popcorn and they have cotton balls and Q-tips for your use. The only downside was heavy fragrance on the pillows on the couch. We are sensitive to smell but this was really strong. Some folks like that. It is a good location for doing things downtown.

Review

I would recommend this property if your doing anything in the downtown area. The building looks sketchy but once inside it’s a nice cozy stay. Check in was simple and the host was great, I would definitely stay again.

Very cool loft!

This was our first time staying in a loft downtown. After figuring out the key situation, the rest was a breeze. The local was very close to some cool pubs and we had a very good time. The loft was well stocked and a very cool place. We would stay again if we were looking for a spot! :)

1st Detroit trip

Overall, the loft itself was nice, open space, clean, comfortable bed, snacks and coffee provided. I was not impressed with neighborhood as we came across homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk or the lack of address on the outside of the building. No markings in side building/hallways to direct you to your room. Was OK for a one night stay.

Visiting Downtown Detroit for Sports and Concerts

Chanavia does a lovely job maintaining this space. We were 2 friends visiting from Toronto area to see a baseball game, some concerts and explore the city. It was located about a 15 minute walk from the downtown core, maybe 25-30 from the ballpark, or a very short uber/lyft drive. Some people may find the immediate surrounding area and building a little off-putting at first but the loft Chanavia provides was beautifully kept and very welcoming. For a smaller group I would certainly consider staying there again as it provided us with everything we needed and in close proximity to where we needed to be. Lovely space!

The apartment itself was very clean, perfect lighting location, the apartment has a very cool industrial vibe but feels warm and homey, the host goes above and beyond. The parking lot, outside of the building itself and the interior stairways look pretty rough but DO NOT let that deter you, the apartment and host are great and we will stay again when we are in the area.

Good location to conference centre. Unit in converted coat factory- solid building.

Access to building good. Owner was very responsive. Left lots of items like microwave popcorn, cerial boxes, instant noodle soup etc. Parking was good and felt very secure. Area really has no pedestrian traffic so quiet. Would rent again if I am in Downtown Detroit again.

Beautiful space!

This unit was absolutely beautiful despite the industrial look of the outside of the building. Our host was easy to communicate with and provided every amenity you could think of inside the unit. Easy walk to downtown with many dining options nearby. Would definitely stay here again!
