Near Downtown Langley, Shops & Restaurants! Cozy Cottage & Pet Friendly!

Sharon's Cottage is a privately owned, cozy, bright & cheery property, that is located about a half mile from the charming seaside village of downtown Langley. The home has a floor to ceiling wall of north facing windows in the dining/living room area, which allows for good lighting, even on those northwest cloudy days. Double French doors lead to a spacious deck to relax on and enjoy the abundant wildlife all around.

The open floor plan allows for good flow from the well equipped kitchen with eating bar, dining room & living room. There is a great freestanding propane fireplace to unwind and read a good book by.

The cottage is decorated in cheery colors reminiscent of a French country cottage, complete with hand painted décor. The pine plank floors from New Hampshire add warmth and charm. There is a peekaboo view from the front porch or side yard area.

There is one bedroom on the main level with a king-size pillow top bed, ceiling fan and skylight. The second bedroom is an upstairs open area loft, which overlooks the living room. There is a king-size bed in the loft with double skylights that lead to views of the stars & towering cedars above.

The bathroom has double sinks and a separate shower/toilet area. There is a full size washer & dryer in the utility room. Other amenities include a 47” Smart TV, internet, wifi, dvd player, cable tv, dishwasher & built in microwave.

Come explore all that downtown Langley has to offer! Excellent restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and specialty shops. There is a public beach access at the Seawall Park, for beach combing, swimming or picnicking. For those hikers or mountain bike riders, the Saratoga Woods, is less than a mile away!

Whidbey Island has the tranquility and beauty of a remote refuge, and yet it is less than two hours from the Seattle metro area.

We enjoyed our third stay at this charming cottage just minutes from downtown Langley. As always, the cleanliness, comfort, extra touches, and proximity to everything were spot on. Love the cottage; it has everything one needs for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Was disappointed at all of the new construction around it. No more view to enjoy with the French doors to the deck open. While this is in a neighborhood, it now feels like you're in a subdivision.

We have stayed at this location before and always enjoy staying there. It is quiet and perfectly located just outside the town of Langley, and an easy drive to the rest of the island. The accommodations are great, with everything we needed for our stay.

Lovely Cozy Cottage

We only stayed 2 nights. Would have liked to stay longer. The cottage is clean and comfortable amidst beautiful trees and flowers. Nice view of the water. It would be ideal for a single traveler or couple to stay longer and read a book or just enjoy the peacefulness of the place. Downtown Langley and the Clinton ferry are nearby. The Chocolate Flower Farm is across the street and worth a visit if you like chocolate, fresh eggs and animals. We are at several good restaurants nearby: The Prima Bistro, The Spyhop Public House and The Flower Cafe at Bayview Garden. Stay away from the Ott winery. We did see a whale in front of it but wines were not very good or at least not to our liking.

Just like coming home to visit Mom

Very cozy and clean, nice beds, linens and Cush towels. The kitchen was well equipped too, nice if you cook. Close to Langley and quiet. Highly recommended.

Comfortable and quiet near downtown Langley

This house is lovely - would definitely book again! My husband and I stayed here for a date weekend. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and location close to downtown Langley. This house is very comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. We would even consider coming back with our kids sometime, since there is another bed.

Perfect!

This house so cute and perfect! My best friend, mother and I came for my mothers 70th birthday. The house was the perfect size, private and clean. It was so close to the downtown area in Langley. April was so sweet and left a balloon and basket for my mom's birthday. She/we had the best time on the Whidbey! This place will be added to my favorites and shared.

Great get away

Anniversary Weekend

April does a fantastic job with the property. It is just perfect for a weekend getaway. Tucked away in the cutest neighborhood in Langley and always super clean and inviting. And we are allowed to bee bring our furry friend...couldn't be better.

Paradise in Langley at Sharon’s Cottage

Wow! We loved our stay in Sharon’s Cottage. Such a terrific cottage in a beautiful spot. Close to everything yet private. Amenities were thoughtful and fabulous. Beautiful decor. Communication with April was awesome and she was especially helpful when we needed assistance. If we ever return to Whidbey Island, we will be back. 5 stars all the way.

Very Nice Cottage in Beautiful Open Space Neighborhood

XI only stayed two nights. It is a very well maintained home and is well equipped. I did not use the kitchen but it has everything that you need to cook meals. The house is in the middle of a beautiful neighborhood that has lots of open space. From one of the windows there is a partial view of the ocean. There are some very minor things that could be improved without the owner having to spend a lot of money. It's a requirement to remove shoes inside the home. Makes sense. However there is no place to set and easily remove your shoes. There is no rug to wipe your shoes especially when it's wet outside. The outside light is too weak to see between your car and the front door when it is night. It would be nice to have a side rail for the front porch. The TV is way too small and requires multiple controllers to get it going. However none of these very minor issues would keep me from wanting to rent this home again. Overall it's a great place to stay and so very warm and cozy.

Lovely, Peaceful Cottage in Langley

First of all, what a peaceful location and beautiful view! This cottage is better than advertised. It's clean and the decor is wonderful and comfortable. We could not ask for a better place to enjoy Whidbey Island from. Walking distance to downtown Langley while still feeling private and secluded. Everything you need is provided; utensils, appliances, cable and wifi along with some food staples. Just bring your food if you don't plan to eat out every meal and clothing, and settle into what feels like a home away from home. April is helpful and easy to contact. Check in and out was seamless. We come to Whidbey often and have found our new go-to place to stay.

Beautiful Whidbey Home

This was my home away from home while I worked remotely from Langley for the week. The place was lovely and spacious. The large kitchen was well stocked and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. I felt very welcomed, and I appreciate that I was allowed to have my dog with me. She even got a little doggie bag of treats and a food dish! We were a two-minute drive to Langley’s adorable boutiques, coffee shops, and restaurants. What a calm, relaxing week!

A piece of paradise

The cottage provides everything you need for a great stay. April the property manager was so attentive to my every need . The views are incredible. Lots of wildlife to keep you mesmerized. It’s quaint and relaxing. So close to Langley you can walk to town. Can’t wait to get back!
